The July 28 The Tide Has Turned explained Mercury's influence, Trump is losing his mind and his reputation.  This is primarily due to mental Mercury and the fifth house of the mind being so afflicted this spring/summer. ... and that Trump's current attack on Congressmen Elijah Cummings -- and his Baltimore home and district -- appears to have finally turned that tide against him.

That entry, however cautioned Clarity on this issue is not yet here, however, for Mercury won't end retrograde until August 2.  And when it does, Mercury will be in a very weak sign-edge position between Gemini and Cancer.  So continue to take it easy with your public concerns for a while yet and wait for the clear air of truth to blow away Trump's fog of chaos.

Actually, Mercury ended its three week retrograde just as July turned to August, as shown in the below chart graphic.  When August arrived, the "R" next to Mercury disappeared in its turning forward.

The weak sign-edge position has actually been going on for quite a while.   (Planets are weak within two degrees of a sign edge, just like the current of a river is at a weak eddy at the riverbank.)  Retrograde Mercury reached the edge of Cancer July 25.  It retrograded back into Gemini July 29.  Then, as August began, Mercury turned forward at Gemini's sign-edge at 29:49 as shown in the above chart.  Finally, Mercury, crossed back into Cancer August 2 and remains weak now at 0:30 Cancer -- as shown in the below chart for now,

Yes, it's the same yo-yo motion Mercury tracked this past winter from February into April.  That too was a confusing time!  (See the March 11 Witch Hoax.)  I mention this to both remind and advise how long Mercury -- and thereby Trump's mind -- has been stressed.  That's also why the July 28 The Tide Has Turned listed seven earlier statements about Trump's mind and reputation. You can only stretch a rubber band so far, you know, before it snaps.  The issue, of course, is how close Trump is to snapping, but certainly the rubber band in his head must be vibrating, even whipping around under his orange dome.

Of course, minds snapped yesterday in the two mass murders -- Texas and Ohio.  (This afflicted and weak Mercury has stressed everyone since last winter, pushing these murderers over the edge. And certainly there has been a spike in mental aberrations in the U.S., even globally.)  As horrific as they are, these events have the upside of harming Trump even further -- both his mind and reputation.  There is no doubt his escalating and repeated racism is tied to these mass murders.  You don't have to pull the trigger on a gun yourself to cause a murderer to shoot.  In legal terms, he's an accessory to multiple homicides.  This hardens Democratic resolve against Trump, tilts more independents away from him and begins to turn Republicans away too.  Note that now fully one half the House democrats support impeachment now.

Here's the Vedic Astrology for that.  Cancer is now loaded with four planets, and that sign is the eighth house of calamity in the U.S. chart.  The extreme mass murders actualize that energy.  As Cancer is the twelfth house of loss for Trump, this very heavy karma of four planets there causes him significant losses that seem impossible to shake off -- or slick willy out of.

It won't be until the sunrise August 7 (Wednesday) that Mercury will have reached two degrees in Cancer to finally be strong again. Then you'll be able to digest and understand these public events, as well as mental entanglements in your own personal experiences. In the mean time, again, take it easy and get plenty of rest.  Mercury's signification for the nervous system is exhausted.

It's been a decade now since I left Sedona, and nearly three years since I ended reading client charts.  I forget Vedic Astrology isn't a real-world modern endeavor but truly rather an other-worldly ancient craft.  Well, exclusively doing mundane Vedic astrology -- world trends and events -- is indeed so mundane in its nature and quality, it's easy to miss the wonders of connecting to the universe when doing the work.  And even when I do have a hit, it doesn't often register, like a hit does when telling a client something remarkable and hidden about his/her life -- and then receiving compliments, and reading inquiries too, from the client's awestruck friends.

There simply aren't any oohs and ahs when peering upward to the spinning celestial wheel to perceive puzzle pieces of the future that can be then integrated into predictions about politics, the economy, social trends, weather events.....

It's been nearly a quarter century since I taped this picture to the front door of my cottage on Longboat Key, FL shortly after my neighbor James Braha started giving me Vedic lessons,

(Of course Braha was unimpressed, likely believing this frivolity ran against the grain of serious Hindu Vedic Astrology.)

But sometimes that connection to the heavens is revealed.  Here's a very cool case.

The July 28 entry was titled The Tide has Turned, described how Trump's attack against Elijah Cummings, and indeed the entire city of Baltimore ...appears to have finally turned that tide against him.

This today article 'Small and isolated’ Trump visited El Paso and all he left behind was a ‘fresh dose of racism’: Texas author describes Trump's degrading reputation. This section stands out (emphasis added),

The July 28 entry discussion about Cummings ended with It sounds like the nation is finally saying enough is enough.  Below is that sign from the Dayton rally yesterday.  Hit number two.

Finally, the July 28 entry ended with this,

The August 4 Mercury Strong Again In 2 Days explained It won't be until the sunrise August 7 (Wednesday) that Mercury will have reached two degrees in Cancer to finally be strong again. Then you'll be able to digest and understand these public events... Well, today is August 8, and with the furor about the two mass murders, along with Trump's insensitive response, it sure looks like the public has digested and understood Trump's tide has turned. I think that's hit number three.

This morning Jupiter finally turned forward -- after a sluggish four month retrograde that began April 8.  Now the planet of luck, fortune and wisdom begins again to stimulate these karmas (influences) globally.  This is generally welcome and beneficial for many matters and charts, but not all.  Jupiter forward in deep Scorpio is a mixed bag, especially now.  Below are the challenges.

First, considering the global karmas symbolized by the natural zodiac beginning with Aries, the sign of Scorpio is the harmful eighth house of hidden traumas, secrete and scandals.  On a spiritual level, Scorpio symbolizes that which remains hidden in the unconscious is experienced as fate.  These energetics strike any planet transiting there -- like Jupiter is now.  Scorpio is often described as dangerous hidden depths.  Think of Scorpio like a deep ocean upwelling suddenly churning the surface, tossing boats willy nilly and sending giant waves to shorelines.  Like a ship anchored in retrograde is safer that pushing hard ahead in rough seas, Jupiter's forward motion exposes it now to eighth house ills.  Here's that chart,

Second, the June 26 Mars In Cancer & Solar Eclipse explained the July 2 total solar eclipse impact upon the U.S. chart.

These karmas have been playing out since the eclipse, including negative economic trends, which influences continue to unfold.  Further, with transit Jupiter in Scorpio being the twelfth house of loss in the U.S. chart, Jupiter's forward motion exposes it now to twelfth house ills.

Thereby, the U.S. birth chart Jupiter was hit was the solar eclipse and transit Jupiter harmed by its Scorpio twelfth house placement.

Third, as the primary wealth indicator, and potent in the U.S. chart for that, we have to consider the current economic environment to better weigh how the above eighth and twelfth house hits to Jupiter may impact.  The U.S. economy is still growing but decelerating.  In many countries across the globe, that weakening has turned already into recession.  Plus, as no tree grows to the sky, this longest economic expansion ever in the U.S. must soon yield to contraction.

The Celestial Wheel has repeatedly sounded the recession alarm, or perhaps even depression, many times -- as far back as March 2018.

March 31, 2018  "Isn't it true then the Republican's expansionary policies actually are also magical thinking that must fail? Consider just one number -- The U.S. government is set to borrow nearly $1 trillion this year, an 84 percent jump from last year.  Uh oh, we'll need to pay for that or suffer another major economic recession, unless, of course, the magical thinkers in the Republican Party are correct that supply side economics grows the economy (and thereby tax receipts) much more than tax cuts reduce revenue and balloon both the deficit and the debt."  (By now, that's been clearly disproven.)

December 25, 2018  "...the U.S. chart suffering losses now with wealthy Jupiter transiting the twelfth house of loss.  This disposition influences for economic losses.  We can already see the stock markets plunging in anticipation of that result.

March 11, 2019  "Jupiter, the planet of expansion, luck and fortune, is nearing the edge of Scorpio. As that is the twelfth house of loss in the U.S. chart, the position signals economic weakness, even a recession."

March 26, 2019  "Jupiter will go retrograde April 10 in a very weak edge-of-sign position, which is negative for the U.S. economy..."

April 9, 2019  "...wealthy Jupiter's weak position in the twelfth house of loss, and further weakening via retrograde, spells economic travails.  As Jupiter circles the zodiac every twelve years, he was last in the U.S. twelfth house in 2006/07 -- when the housing bubble began bursting, United States housing bubble.  Increased foreclosure rates in 2006–2007 among U.S. homeowners led to a crisis in August 2008 for the subprime...  Of course, the stock markets crashed in mid September 2018, setting off the Millennium Contraction."

A tracker finding so many animal prints on the forest floor would conclude animals had been there and are close by.  Similarly, this Celestial Wheel entry has spotted many signs leading to economic loss.  It's a question of when, not if.  To find out when, Vedic Astrology tracking involves looking back for a patterns that repeats now.

When the U.S. chart's Rahu was eclipsed August 1, 2008, the trail led to the stock market crashing mid September.  Here's an excerpt from the May 23, 2008 entry,

The September 6, 2008 entry noted the triple conjunction of Venus, Mercury and Mars.  Note this was just before the economy begin unraveling mid September.  This, then, is the pattern we look to see repeating.

Below is the transit chart for August 31 of this year, using again Sagittarius for the first house to mirror the U.S. chart.  See again the close conjunction of Venus, Mercury and Mars.  Making matters more dire, the Sun is sandwiched in there, on top of Mars.  An intense four planet stellium results. (Like four cats in a bag.)  The Sun and Mars are both pitta (fire) malefic planets, and combined they bring fierce and destructive fighting.  Note that Mars rules the fifth house of investments and the Sun rules the ninth house of wealth.  Thereby, both prosperity planets are injured.  That the Sun being government leadership is involved suggests Trump is pulled in, making economic loss also loss to him.

August 31, 2019

Thus, the pattern of an economic crash in September 2008 due to a powerful solar eclipse hitting a planet, followed by the conjunction of Venus, Mercury and Mars, is repeating this year.  We have another potent summer solar eclipse followed by the same triple conjunction (made worse by the Sun making the conjunction a four planet stellium) in September.

This is as far as today's analysis goes.  More scrutiny will be given to both verify and pin down dates.

While there's been a lot going on, key planetary karmas appear to be Trump's crumbling mind and reputation plus the impending economic cliff.  The former was discussed repeatedly throughout the spring/summer with a detailed explanation in the July 28 The Tide has Turned.  Certainly Trump's mind has, and continues to, degenerated.  And the public is getting tired of, and disgusted with, him.

The latter has also been predicted and most recently analyzed in the August 11 Jupiter Forward -- A Mixed Bag..  There, a pattern was revealed -- a destructive solar eclipse followed by the conjunction of Mercury, Venus and Mars took the U.S. over an economic cliff in September 2008.  That pattern repeats starting about August 31 of this year.

We're fast approaching this ending of August, which also portends an ending to the ten year economic expansion.  The economic cliff looms uncomfortably close.  Below is the current transit chart (where the planets are in today's skies).  Again, you can easily see the Sun, Venus and Mars already gathered in Leo, with Mercury not far behind -- and catching up quickly.  Mercury will enter Leo early August 26.

Notice the red arrow from Mars to Jupiter.  This is a Mars aspect (glance).  Because Mars is destructive and Jupiter is wealth, this aspect wastes wealth.  It is a further karma for economic loss and also indicates wealth will be lost attempting to quell the economic storm.

Economic contractions are not single-event occurrences and particularly challenging to predict.  The beginning is shrouded in mystery. But, seemingly paradoxically, once started, events proceed rapidly. In economics, things take longer to happen than you think they will, and then they happen faster than you thought they could.

Still, we know now the economic cliff is perilously close -- likely just weeks away.  The lemmings are running full tilt toward their doom.  But when they will reach the edge remains an unknown.  The caption for this cartoon, btw, is oddly appropriate.

The Celestial Wheel has geared up, and comprehensively described, the twin planetary karmas during September that follow the same pattern in September 2008 that brought the Millennium Contraction.

Below is the transit chart for today -- August 25 -- using Sagittarius as the first house to again mirror the U.S. chart.  You can see Mercury at 28:59 degrees getting reading to go into Leo to create an intense four planet stellium results. (Like four cats in a bag.).

Look closely to see another intensity -- all the planets, except right now the Moon, are crowded together on one side of the zodiac between Rahu and Ketu, the eclipse points. This is a yoga -- special combination -- called Kala Sarpa, which means time serpent. This results because Rahu the head-of-the-dragon is the future and Ketu the-tail is the past.  (On Tuesday the fast-moving Moon will join the other six planets to complete the yoga.)  Kala Sarpa is like a python entwining prey in its coils, and is thus another energy concentration, or A Wrinkle In The Space-Time Continuum.

Looking back to 2008 by using the home page Google Custom Search, we find Kala Sarpa also occurred then!  The October 22, 2008 Finale The Presidential Race stated,

Of course, because Kala Sarpa is global, it impacts the U.S. as well as other countries, and thus it aggravates the U.S. chart.  Here are two more quotes from the October 22, 2008 Finale The Presidential Race entry explaining how Kala Sarpa operates,

Thus, the pattern of a harmful solar eclipse followed by the conjunction of Mercury, Venus and Mars is further set by Kala Sarpa yoga occurring in 2008 and again now.  This makes economic loss more certain. Further, because Kala Sarpa is a global transit, the economic downturn will be global. This is pretty amazing!

The August 19 Closer To The Economic Cliff picked August 31 -- today -- stating,

Of course, today is also Hurricane Damian's erratic progress to inevitable landfall on the southern Atlantic coast.

One could surmise the storm's Category 4 strength, and almost certain widespread damage, reflects the current celestial energy, and, in turn, how severe the upcoming economic contraction would be.  That's conjecture, of course, but it certainly a a ring of veracity to it.  As Mars is a major culprit here, his disruptive energy brings both weather and financial storms.

And here's the interesting thing.  The August 18, 2008 The Challenging Summer Of 2008 reviewed results and summarized predictions (emphasis added).

Those predictions for economic collapse and hurricane certainly came true in September 2008.  The Global financial crisis in September 2008 coincided with Hurricane Ike striking Galveston September 13.  These mirror this year's prediction for economic failure beginning this September and a major hurricane, which is happening now.

But wait. What about the secreted government, private skullduggery?  Pay attention to the news.
