Mercury enters Pisces, its fallen (weak) sign on Thursday. Much has been written about its yo-yo path.

And below are two excepts from earlier entries to refresh your memory -- for recollection has been hindered by this planet of the mental derangement.:-)

First, here again what should be the now familiar graphic of Mercury's route through the signs this winter/spring -- initially published February 20 -- into Pisces, then (retrograde) back to Aquarius and finally back into Pisces.  (I know, this repetition is mentally lazy, but then, my communications/writing Mercury is pretty frazzled.)

Transits April 9, 2017

The observations from March 26 Mercury Turns Forward In Two Days describe Trump's planetary karmas sufficiently.  I would only add that this interval stresses not only his mind but also his head and heart.  The July 28, 2017 August's Karmic Onslaught Looms stated,

Notice that in today's chart Mars is at 12 degrees Taurus.  Trump's Rahu and Sun (head, heart, body, brain) are close by at 27 and 29 degrees respectively.  Mars (ruling his fourth house of the heart and home) will transit by Rahu and the Sun at month's end and into early May.  Then, Mercury (mind) will be finishing up in Pisces and Saturn will be exactly conjunct Ketu in the fifth house of the mind.  Thus, all Trump's mental indicators will be under fire, as will his heart and head.  Keep in mind one further concept, which is that Saturn is the one planet that cannot be resisted; it is the power to turn coal into diamonds. Afflicted by fiery and dissolving Ketu in Trump's fifth house of the mind brings violent energy to Saturn that can shatter, even diamond.

As for the U.S., Mercury in Pisces is the fourth house of the emotions and home, aspecting Saturn (government employees) in the tenth house of career.  This suggests mental stresses for U.S. government and its officials, as well as economic stress.  Thus we have the coming drama of Trump versus Congress. 

Along with this karma, wealthy Jupiter's weak position in the twelfth house of loss, and further weakening via retrograde, spells economic travails.  As Jupiter circles the zodiac every twelve years, he was last in the U.S. twelfth house in 2006/07 -- when the housing bubble began bursting, United States housing bubble, Increased foreclosure rates in 2006–2007 among U.S. homeowners led to a crisis in August 2008 for the subprime...  Of course, the stock markets crashed in mid September 2018, setting off the Millennium Contraction.  As real estate has been slowing and weakening for several months now, this spring could see another bust hitting, followed by another stock crash and then full economic debacle.  Naturally, that will finish off Trump, if there's anything left of him by then.:-)

Then, with the political parties destroyed and the economy wrecked, the Second Progressive Age can come into fill the void.

The Celestial Wheel has focused upon the harmful impacts caused by Mercury's yo-yo motion since February 20.

Below is a chart showing Mercury's travels into Pisces, then back to Aquarius and finally back into Pisces.

Transits February 20, 2019

Enters Pisces (fallen sign) -- February 25
Begins retrograde -- March 6
Reverses back to Aquarius -- March 14
Ends retrograde -- March 28
Moves forward into Pisces again -- April 11
Leaves Pisces May 3

The March 6 entry added two more retrograde yo-yos --Jupiter and Saturn.

Planets routinely show retrograde (backwards) motion as seen from the earth -- which is astrology's perspective -- when planets pass by the earth and when the earth passes by planets.  The analogy is passing a another car on the road; it appears to go backwards.

Retrogrades often, actually usually, pass unnoticed because they aren't affecting other planets or signs.  In fact, because retrograde means losing active forward-moving energy, they become latent -- and almost invisible energetically.

That has not been the case in the ongoing Mercury yo-yo retrograde, for Mercury is badly placed in shifting between two signs, one of which is its fallen (weak) sign of Pisces.  There has been a lot of Mercury communications turmoil the past two months.

This latency is not the case either in the current Jupiter retrograde and soon to retrograde Saturn either.  (Because Jupiter and Saturn move very slowly, the chart images below are of just two signs -- enabling their motions via lines to be visible.)

Jupiter

The reason degrees are given in the three bolded listed movements is not just because it is in a very weak edge-of-sign position, but that is also a Gandanta Point.  Komilla Sutton explains, Gand means a knot. Anta means the end. Gandanta means the knot at the end. A well-tied knot is that it is very difficult to unravel.  The more you try to untie the knot, the tighter it becomes.  Gandanta represents a knot within ourselves, a deep issue, which we are trying to reconcile with.  When planets are placed in these positions, then they face uncertainty as they try to unravel the secret knot that will take them on to the next level.  As the primary wealth planet, and for the U.S., real estate as well, this badly for the economy.

Saturn

Saturn's retrograde, although key to this situation of three yo-yos, does not begin until April 30.  However, always moving retrograde Ketu being close to Saturn beginning in early April, causes these two malefic planets to move closely in tandem since then -- and actually into the fall.  So, this third retrograde yo-yo involves both Saturn and Ketu.

Saturn, the airy (cold) planet of duty, responsibility, loss and detachment mixes badly with fiery Ketu -- the dissolving tail of the dragon eclipse point.  An analogy is challenging, but consider Saturn as a bulldozer ponderously clearing a road bed and Ketu a lightning strike.  Ketu hits the bulldozer with unexpected and immense energy -- jolting it ahead but twisting its path.  Thus, the Saturn/Ketu combination brings great focus and fanatical pursuit of ideas, only to see these collapse.  Notice in the events listing that Saturn's retrograde keeps it close by Ketu continuously and into the fall.  This is truly unusual.

Notice in the above three chart graphics each have troublesome events from early April until early May -- three yo-yos that combine to destabilize the zodiac.  We've made it through about half this sensitive period, and the world has been topsy-turvy for that.

However, it seems these three yo-yos, generate so much instability in the celestial wheel that any major stress coming soon will tip over the energetics -- bringing a crash of some kind.  Here's that upcoming stress -- Mars/Rahu in early to mid June.  Mars' violence is magnified by head-of-dragon eclipse point Rahu.  This combination was operative for the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, 9-11 and many natural disasters -- hurricane, floods.....  Plus, Mars and Saturn will aspect (glance upon) each other -- bringing stress.  And remember, Saturn will be afflicted by Ketu until the fall -- which can only make the disaster worse and preclude remedying it quickly and effectively.

Mars/Rahu hits the U.S. chart's Sun -- government and wealth -- hard. For Trump, goals are shattered, as could well be his mind.

Transits June 11, 2019

Now that the retrogrades have been examined, and an upcoming crash or collapse in mid June identified, further Celestial Wheel entries will analyze specifics karmas and likely results.

There is one suggestion for everyone -- be patient.  Stick with your duties and responsibilities and be disciplined in your efforts. Also, as Saturn is the planet of detachment and Ketu is mystical and thereby disinterested in the world, there is an open door for spiritual growth -- personal understanding.
