Follow The Moon!

Tomorrow, Monday, is the partial eclipse of the Moon. This begins what the July 28 Celestial Wheel is titled, August's Karmic Onslaught Looms. It is this beginning transit in a series of heavy August transits that is important, -- not the impact of this mild eclipse.

The lunar eclipse will only be visible in the eastern hemisphere, which obviously makes it less notable, while, at the same time, the effect is global. (This reminds me of one of the few personal revelations my stoic German farther offered about his childhood. He believed when it rained in his town, it rained all over the world.:-) The visibility of an eclipse magnifies only the psychological impact. Yet, since eclipses are shadows, unlike other transits in which planets influence each other, they are intrinsically psychological. Thus, eclipses shadow the Moon's mind and the Sun's ego. Eclipse shadowing sets up feelings of loss, doubt, vulnerability and fear. Later transits have greater impact when they cross these emotionally fraught eclipse points.

That is why the entry stated,

Events resulting from the August 21 solar eclipse will tend to happen around, not on, the astronomical event. An eclipse is like a sinkhole. So, when other planets cross that point at 4:46 Leo, events are most likely. This happens September 2, when Mercury and Mars conjoin at that point. Another possibility is the Mars/Rahu conjunction, which begins August 20 and continues for about a week.

The July 28 entry also stated,

The August 7 lunar eclipse is partial, weakening it. Too, lunar eclipses are less potent than solar eclipses. The location is 21:19 Capricorn. However, if you have a planet in your chart within 2 degrees of this spot, that's a bulls eye. It will block you, for that's what eclipses do.

This eclipse then, not visible in the western hemisphere, lunar and only partial, can pass unnoticed. However, as it marks the beginning of August's Karmic Onslaught, tomorrow's lunar eclipse should not be disregarded but rather treated as a signal, or omen -- like darkening skies and high wind indicating a thunderstorm is on its way.

Here again is the timeline first published in the June 8 entry, Heavy Summer/Fall Transits. which clearly shows August truly is a Karmic Onslaught with six events.

The big event, of course, is the coming total solar eclipse on Monday, August 21. But it too is truly just a karmic sinkhole into which other transits will fall to stimulate major events. Yet, because it's solar, total and visible in the U.S., this will be a huge sinkhole that can literally devour planets that travel into it.

There are lots and lots of articles about the solar eclipse. This from Wikipedia, is most informative for us astronomy laymen, Solar eclipse of August 21, 2017. Everyone knows the totality will be visible in a narrow 70 mile band across the U.S. -- from sea to shining sea. (However, Trump said a lot of people don't know that:-)) What is not clear in other articles, however, is A partial solar eclipse will be seen from the much broader path of the Moon's penumbra, including all of North America, northern South America, Western Europe and some of Africa.

Does this mean the sinkhole is wider than the 70 mile ban of totality? Probably. And that would be a reason eclipse effects can occur well before the eclipse and up to six months later. This suggests that when major planetary conjunctions occur at the eclipse point at 4:46 Leo (as stated above, September 2 and August 20 -25), major events that may occur are not these two dates.

The May 23 2008 Celestial Wheel stated,

There is one more wrinkle in this summer's planetary fabric -- a total solar eclipse August 1 at 15 1/2 degrees Cancer. ... The total solar eclipse, however, is within a degree of Rahu -- the head-of-the-dragon eclipse point. Then, the U.S. Dasas will be Moon/Sun/Rahu/Mars. This is certainly negative and could signal a confidence collapse, revealing secreted government or private skullduggery, or a major physical disaster -- like a hurricane.

The entries in September 2008 discussed results of the predictions made May 23 2008 -- hurricanes hitting the U.S., Houston oil refineries disrupted and ...continued riling in the financial industry -- the Federal Government taking over Fannie May and Freddie Mac last weekend and now the Lehman Brothers collapse. From September 2 through 7. 2008, closely clustered together Mars, Mercury and Venus crossed the solar eclipse point at 15:30 Cancer. That, of course, is when the Millennium Contraction began, though Trump said recently, a lot of people don't know that).

You should, though, for that was the beginning of the worst economic contraction since the Great Depression. It crippled the housing market, the stock market and employment -- setting up the discontent that would bring the Second Progressive Age during Rahu Dasa (12/2005 to 12/2033). The Millennium Contraction wrecked the middle class and tromped on the poor. Only the top 10% or so have recovered and prospered. Of course, this discontent was the opening Trump saw to get elected.

While the August 1, 2008 solar eclipse on the U.S. chart's Rahu ushered in that financial bath, this solar eclipse August 21 targets Trump's Mars instead. This is a fixed karma he'll be knocked down -- and soon kicked out -- a step ahead in the Second Progressive Age. Ironically, Trump returns to the White House from his vacation the day of the solar eclipse.

Up Next -- Mercury Retrograde

The (above) August 6 entry Follow The Moon! explained about the next day's partial lunar eclipse, it ...marks the beginning of August's Karmic Onslaught, (and) tomorrow's lunar eclipse should not be disregarded but rather treated as a signal, or omen -- like darkening skies and high wind indicating a thunderstorm is on its way. ...Here again is the timeline first published in the June 8 entry Heavy Summer/Fall Transits. which clearly shows August truly is a Karmic Onslaught with six events.

The August 6 entry also stated, ...since eclipses are shadows, unlike other transits in which planets influence each other, they are intrinsically psychological. Thus, eclipses shadow the Moon's mind and the Sun's ego. Eclipse shadowing sets up feelings of loss, doubt, vulnerability and fear.

Isn't this exactly what happened with Trump in his announcement yesterday about North Korea? Newsweek reports, Trump’s North Korea Threat Is Eerily Similar To Harry Truman’s Hiroshima Bombing Announcement In 1945,

“North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States,” Trump told reporters at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. “They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen. He has been very threatening beyond a normal state and as I said they will be met with fire and fury and frankly power the likes of which this world has never seen before.”

This extreme, even irrational, statement reveals the stress Trump is under and his lunar emotional vulnerability. It thereby reinforces the prediction that the remaining five heavy transits this month will be devastating for him, that ...he'll be knocked down -- and soon kicked out -- a step ahead in the Second Progressive Age.

As shown in the above timeline, Mercury enters its three week retrograde in just a few days -- August 12 to September 5. Note that this affliction spans the other upcoming August transits. Given repetition of karma stimulates events, these other transits will amplify the impact of Mercury (the planet of the calculating mind) being weakly retrograde. Or, putting it another way, Mercury retrograde will amplify the impact of these other transits. As Mercury is the planet of communications, that view may be more valid. Still, afflictions run both ways, like a two way street.

Mercury's primary significations are communications and the nervous system. Retrograde motion interferes with these, causing mix-ups, memory failures and nervousness.

Mercury will be retrograde in Leo, the sign of kingship -- government and those who are, or act like, kings. Thus, Mercury retrograde issues will be a focus in the public sector, and especially for Trump, since he believes he's a Sun king, not a Saturnian servant of the people.

In another ring of the circus, remember that the June 8 entry Heavy Summer/Fall Transits introduced the summer/fall transit analysis and explained how important Saturn is -- globally.

Saturn is a key player here. It has been weakly retrograde since early April. This is good for easing its restrictive nature but negative for Saturn's necessary qualities of organization, duty and responsibility. When Saturn turns forward August 25, it will do so with a jolt of reality and force responsible actions. Saturn in Scorpio from June 19 until October 26 is challenging , for this planet of reality dredges up hidden scandals, especially for government officials -- like last year during the presidential campaigns.

Saturn's primacy is also clearly shown by it being included as a heavy transit in every month of the timeline. This description is about Saturn's general effects -- globally. Recall that Saturn is duty, obligation, the public, restriction, loss, suffering, detachment, and most of all reality. There are no rose colored glasses where Saturn is concerned.

The July 28 entry August's Karmic Onslaught Looms detailed Saturn's impacts upon Trump,

Saturn is retrograde at 27:05 Scorpio, nearly on top of his Moon at 28:05 Scorpio. Always slow moving, Saturn is slowest this summer in a retrograde that ends August 25, at which time it will begin crossing Trump's Moon for the third time. That turn from retrograde to forward motion will be horrific for Trump's Moon -- like being crushed in an avalanche. The Moon is the public, career, emotions and the heart. All will suffer. From this position, Saturn is also conjunct Ketu, the tail-of-the-dragon eclipse point. This is a tough combination of inimical energies. Saturn also aspects Trump's Rahu and Sun -- the latter being career, again the heart and the head.

Potpourri

Single-subject is the most direct and understandable way to present forecasts. Readers are given one topic to focus upon and grasp. And as entries tend to be continuations of previous predictions, they describe an ongoing story.

However, with so much planetary karma this summer/fall, plus Trump magnifying these with ongoing and multiple public actions, it's best to pause and catch up!

Thus, today a potpourri is better, even as the definition -- naturally fragrant plant material, used to provide a gentle natural scent inside buildings -- is optimistic. Witches brew would be more apropos!

Trump's Hidden Enemies

Celestial Wheel entries during the last several months have discussed two planetary karmas which continue to unfold:

January 11 Trump's Hidden Enemies

For Leo rising, the Moon (the public and perception) rules the twelfth house of loss, which is why Leo rising folks have great difficulties relating in healthy ways to others, especially the larger public. The twelfth house is also hidden enemies. So, Trump's Moon brings losses from hidden enemies when transit Saturn hits it -- Sadi Sati. ...Saturn is not only crossing Trump's Moon right now, it will do so two more times -- in July and September.

Leaking And Starting A War

Certainly, this is the leaking that bedevils Trump. Leaking started last fall and will continue. Plus, isn't Robert Mueller another hidden enemy? The FBI raid on Paul Manafort's house is a major event here. As the Russia issue can sink the president, the Manafort raid has pushed Trump into a near panic mode. Too, while the above excerpt states Saturn crosses Trump's Moon in July and September, Saturn is actually hovering over the Moon all summer and fall, and its ending retrograde August 25 will truly crush the Moon.

July 2 August's Karmic Onslaught Looms -- But In the Meantime (Sun/Mars conjunction)

For Trump, Mars/Sun is in his eleventh house of goals and groups in Gemini -- June 15 to July 11. This is why Trump has been so aggressive, even hateful, recently. He will continue that behavior to rally his base. Trump appears to promote violence against CNN with tweet

Mars/Sun will next be in his twelfth house of loss in Cancer (July 16 to August 16). Plus, sad Saturn will be right on his emotional public Moon. Trump will continue to be aggressive, nut, he will then suffer losses for increasingly demented words and acts.

Trump's sporadic attacks on others continue. Up to now, these haven't been consequential, either because he attacks others personally or because issues haven't yet brought major consequences -- Paris Climate Accord, immigration.... However, Trump's barrages against North Korea are frightening -- increasingly demented. He's also now threatening Venezuela, Trump says he’s open to military intervention in Venezuela and Iran, This October, Trump will try to start a war with Iran. The ultimate distraction for a failing president is to start a war. Notice too that John Kelly as Chief of Staff, results in Trump installing generals in three top posts -- Mattix Defense Secretary and H. R. McMaster National Security Advisor. If you want bread, hire bakers. If you want to start a war, hire generals. It's what they do.

Calamity For the U.S.

July 9 Sun/Mars For The U.S.
Cancer is the eight house of calamity in the U.S. chart. When the hot malefics Mars and Sun transit through there, all sorts of violent destructions will hit. (July 11 to August 16)

While its impossible for this journeyman astrologer to anticipate specific events during this interval, we can take a look back to Deepwater Horizon oil platform explosion April 20, 2010. Then, Mars was similarly transiting watery Cancer. Go forward from there to find Mars transited Cancer September/October 2011. Wikipedia reports mayhem then. Water disasters were notable. Certainly tropical storms are a strong possibility, for this is hurricane season.

Weather has certainly been extreme across the country, but nothing horrific occurred, until last weekend's unexpected New Orleans flooding. And it looks like more is on its way, New Orleans Scrambles to Repair Drainage System After Severe Flooding.

Hurricanes

As for hurricanes, it doesn't appear they will hit this summer. The fall, though, could bring a hurricane, and the first week in October looks dangerous. Then, Mars, the planet of storms, will be afflicting Saturn, planet of destruction, in watery Scorpio -- like last August. I'll write more about hurricanes in upcoming entries.

Moon Rise And Set

The (above) August 6 Celestial Wheel entry Follow The Moon wrote about the August 7 partial lunar eclipse and the upcoming August 21 total solar eclipse. As the lunar eclipse approached, the Moon waxed to full. Since then, the Moon has been waning on its approach to block the Sun on August 21. It's naturally interesting to watch the Moon as she approaches the solar eclipse, but the Moon's rising and setting is mysterious. A Supercharged Solar Eclipse

The (above) August 6 entry Follow The Moon announced the next day's partial solar eclipse begins August's Karmic Onslaught -- when Trump, the bear, is hit by so many arrows he's knocked down. (Next, he'll be thrown out.) The June 20 entry Finally explained,

Considering the Summer/fall timeline, entries this month have examined events and trends for the first of five consequential months. There's been a lot going on, and the pace doesn't seem to be slackening!

But this month, and July too, don't have a serious concentration of heavy transits -- just two each month. It is true, however, as stated in the June 19 entry about Saturn on Trump, it will run over his Moon a second time in July. This will wound him further, but like archery, finishing off a bear requires many arrows. However, August is when the onslaught hits with six major transit events crammed into 31 days.

In August, transit Saturn will continue to maul U.S. government officials and Trump's status and mental stability.

It's turning forward August 25 will bring a major lurch, as it sits on Trump's Moon.

The May 16 entry, observed about Trump's chart, The August 21 total solar eclipse, at 4:46 Leo, (will be) just over a degree from his birth chart Mars at 3:40 Leo. While eclipse effects play out over several months, it seems this eclipse shadowing of a man born on an eclipse must spell his doom. Then, with the destroyer of the Second Gilded Age finished with his work, the Second Progressive Age can begin to rebuild. Look for a new leader to emerge. Mars is Trump's power planet -- making him a fighter. Eclipsed, he'll act like rapid dog. Mars also is a significator of his home, suggesting again he'll be thrown out of the White House.

The Heavy Summer/Fall Transits timeline shows the next heavy transit will be the August 21 solar eclipse.

The eclipse is the third in six heavy transits this month. It is an energetic crescendo peak -- already pumped up by the eight's Lunar Eclipse, twelfth's Mercury retrograde beginning.

Everyone knows this total solar eclipse is coming, rare for also being visible across the U.S. -- which thereby heightens its blocking (which is what eclipse means) psychologically. As this eclipse hits Trump hard, though sparing the U.S. from being battered, he's the focus. So let's examine the solar eclipse on Trump's chart.

First, though, the title A Supercharged Solar Eclipse needs to be addressed. It's a hidden fundamental force in the celestial sphere.

Rahu is the head (body) of the dragon eclipse point. It is this potent north node of the Moon that marks the solar eclipse and normally moves backwards through the zodiac, very slowly -- 18 years to circle the zodiac. Very occasionally, Rahu stops and turns forward for a day or so to a few weeks. This is happening now, August 15 through 22. Forward motion amplifies Rahu's already potent eclipse power -- a supercharger. Remember too that the U.S. is running it's Rahu Dasa now -- a karma that ignited by transits, like the eclipse.

No wonder Game Of Thrones is suddenly really popular, even sequestered behind HBO's paywall. Watch this video about the dragon to Eastern culture Rahu -- so alien to the West. Inescapable is the dragon's immensity compared to mankind.

Another way to understand the Solar eclipse is to view Rahu as this dragon and the eclipse blanketing the hot Sun's fire -- which soon come roaring back.

Because Rahu is moving forward now -- August to August 15 to 22 -- when it blocks the Sun August 21, that energy is intensified. Eclipse effects begin before eclipses and end later (sometimes up to six months). We've already seen this amped up eclipse energy in world events. And Notice how planes keep falling down? Rahu is flying machines, flying carpets in ancient Persia.

For Trump, the July 28 entry explained about Trump,

The August 21 total solar eclipse is the big event. ...the eclipse at 4:46 Leo is right in the middle between his warrior Mars at 3:40 and Ascendant (self, body. head)) at 6:55 -- both within the two degree bulls eye range. (Thankfully, this eclipse does not hit any planet in the U.S. chart -- averting a national disaster.)

Mars is Trump's power planet, bringing forward Mar's qualities of aggression, fighting, disputes, logic, strength, landed property, agriculturalists, sports, sex, courage, heart and self hatred. (He loves the gardening/farming of his golf courses.) In Trump's Mars ruling the fourth house of fixed assets, emotions and heart, these qualities are added. Similarly, in Mars ruling the ninth house of luck and fortune, wealth is favored.

A total solar eclipse on Mars knocks out all of these significations. Further, because as solar eclipses darkens the sky to night, the stars are revealed. Thus eclipses both block and reveal.

Expect, then, all Trump's Mars significations can be revealed by this eclipse -- perhaps over the next months or as soonest as predicted in the entry, August 20 for about a week and September 2. Remember this eclipse also hits Ascendant (self, body. head) Thus, self image, presentation to the public, reputation, position and the head are all sensitive to the eclipsing energy. Note the Ascendant here means the exact degree within his Ascendant house of self, which means the house is also hit.

Another Vedic measurement is the Moon's houses -- a second house schedule of 29 -- sometimes called lunar mansions. This is the number of days the Moon takes to circle the earth. The Sanskrit word is Nakshatra. The eclipse, as well as Trump's Ascendant and Mars, are located in the Nakshatra of Magha, summarized as,

Magha is composed of six stars near the forehead of the constellation of Leo, which includes the bright star Regulus, at least one hundred times as powerful as the Sun. Magha thereby means the mighty one or the great. Its symbol is the palanquin, upon which the king was carried. Magha is ruled by Ketu, and with the Sun ruling Leo, mystical leadership emerges. The great Yogi Yogananda (Biography of a Yogi) had both his Ascendant and Moon in Magha.

Magha expresses as ambition, leadership and family pride. These people are generous and devoted to those they love. There is respect for tradition, enjoyment of ceremony and great ability as actors and performers on the stage of life.

Magha’s shadow side is arrogance and identification with class status. Since wealth is the primary motivation, there can be a fixation with material prosperity. Thus, Magha can sometimes win the kingdom but lose the soul. Discontent and restlessness result if Magha doesn’t achieve its lofty ideals of success, and self-doubt can be an issue.

Keep in mind the listing of eclipse harms on Trump is comprehensive but not exhaustive. This astrologer is not God! Also pay attention to how the karmas can play out in diverse ways. For example, Trump can be thrown out by being hospitalized. With regard to this example, as eclipse effects begin before the astronomical event, Trump has already been thrown out of his White House home due to remodeling. And really interesting here is he moves back in on the eclipse day.

A Final Piece Of The Eclipse Puzzle

August's Karmic Onslaught is so powerfully impactive I've described it incrementally. First, the visual aid heavy summer/fall transits timeline table was created. Using the time line as a reference, the unfolding sequential planetary karmas were described and interpreted -- one by one.

The goal was to gradually unveil the solar eclipse sinkhole and the what/when of sinkhole events. An analogy in nature is a hornet's nest and what/how it will bring when poked with a stick. (An aside here -- Watch for Animals Freaking Out During the Eclipse.)

Further, although there is a lot going on, the situation is not so complex as to require spoon-feeding the information. Rather. the magnitude of the planetary energies at the top of the scale requires careful scrutiny and deep analyses. This further information is not tangential nor incidental -- just as it's critical whether an incoming hurricane is Category 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. Part of this incremental process is the gradual discovery of the dozens of planetary karmas coming forward this summer/fall.

It wasn't until early July, for example, that I realized Mars was (unusually) in the Sun/Mercury conjunction in Cancer. Investigation of that fiery disposition resulted in discovering it being the theme for the month -- and thereby Sun/Mars set the stage for August's Karmic Onslaught.

Similarly, I've thought and thought about the solar eclipse itself. And only in the (above) August 18 entry A Supercharged Solar Eclipse discovered and explored several influences that actually do supercharge this eclipse.

Today's entry A Final Piece Of Tee Eclipse Puzzle is yet another late discovery -- just a couple of hours ago in fact. And as it shapes the length and strength of impending major events, there's inherent importance.

I've been mulling over the exact meaning of this from the July 28 entry,

An eclipse is like a sinkhole. So, when other planets cross that point at 4:46 Leo, events are most likely. This happens September 2, when Mercury and Mars conjoin at that point. Another possibility is the Mars/Rahu conjunction, which begins August 20 and continues for about a week. This duo approaches the eclipse point, and that energy is so destructive, it can bring an event. Because Trump is hit so hard by the eclipse itself, these other transits can bring the events that will knock him down, or out.

Astrology is always about being more specific. Why did I write that events occur when planets cross the eclipse point -- but also wrote This (Mars/Rahu) duo approaches the eclipse point, and that energy is so destructive, it can bring an event? These statements are inconsistent. Or perhaps I fudged in claiming the Mars/Rahu conjunction could energize an event before duo fell into the eclipse point sinkhole? I actually clouded the waters more by later stating the Mars/Rahu conjunctive event interval if 8/20 - 25.

The above is all true, but it's not specifically true. Here's why.

Mercury and Venus are always in the solar vicinity because, as inner planets, they are close to the Sun. The outer planets (Mars, Jupiter and Saturn), however, are not tied to the Sun's position. These can be anywhere in the zodiac in relation to the Sun. This planetary proximity issue was discussed in the July 2 entry August's Karmic Onslaught Looms -- But In the Meantime. It introduced this year's unusual Sun/Mars conjunction -- June 15 through August 16 -- as the theme for July.

When I recalled this, I looked ahead at the transit wheel again to find there's more to the Mars/Rahu conjunction than August 20 and continue for about a week. As Mars is next to Rahu, then it's within the Leo eclipse mix. Adding Mars' ferocious energy to the eclipse mix in Leo must be explosive.

Actually, as shown in the below chart for today, Mars is not yet with Rahu in Leo. They conjoin very late on August 26. And, they conjoin the day Mars enters Leo, at the very edge of the sign boundary 00:02 degrees. The weak sign edge does not contain Mars's fire lit by Rahu within Leo (one sign) but lets it explode through to the adjacent sign, Cancer.

Thereby, there are two substantive planetary karmas making August 26 a sensitive date for a major event. Mars is in the eclipse sign of Leo. The conjunction's explosive energy is unconstrained at the edge of Leo.

Of course, Mars/Rahu will bring traumas and dramas August 20 (today) for about a week. But we also know now that the big hit is most likely August 26.

August 26 and September 2 are early sensitive dates for tomorrow's total solar eclipse. There may be more solar eclipse sink hole sensitive dates later in the fall.

Post Script

The last paragraph in this entry begins, August 26 and September 2 are early sensitive dates for tomorrow's total solar eclipse.

As the discussion was about Mars conjoining Rahu, that specific is obvious. August 26 is the Mars/Rahu conjunction. Not so obvious is on September 2, Mars and Mercury conjoin on the eclipse point. Violent Mars thereby strikes planets twice in Leo within days after the June 21 eclipse.

Next Up -- Saturn Turns Forward

August's Karma Onslaught is well advanced. And Trump the bear has taken a lot of arrows in this knockdown month for him.

These have already occurred -- begun: 8/7 partial lunar eclipse, clouding the mind; 81/2 Mercury retrograde for 3 weeks; 8/21 solar eclipse. (For this last, upcoming sensitive dates have been identified - 8/26 and 9/2)

These eerily match up with Trump's faux pax:

It's as though there's an unseen puppet master pulling Trump's strings,

Trump's reflexive attacks are symptomatic of how vulnerable he is now. After all, none of the rest of us have gone nuts, like he did, immediately following a heavy transit.

The title of this entry, Next Up -- Saturn Turns Forward -- is slated for tomorrow. Saturn is the slowest planet, circling the zodiac every 29 years. And when it changes direction -- from retrograde now to forward now -- it slows to a crawl, much like when you approach a stop light and gradually brake your car to a stop. Before the actual stop, the car creeps along.

Too, after Saturn grinds to a stop, he stations for a while -- stationary direct -- motionless.

Saturn is currently in Scorpio moving toward to station at a worm's pace -- 1/100 of a degree in 6 hours. At 6:30 EDT today, Saturn grinds to a halt at 27:04:53 -- attaining station. It doesn't move (stations) until tomorrow (8/25) 6:30 PM, a full day later.

Restrictive Saturn grinding in place on Trump's Moon at 28:05 Scorpio is tremendously harmful to him. Saturn on the perceptional Moon not only weakens the mind, but it causes depression and losses of all kinds, notably with the public. Also, in the Moon for this chart ruling the twelfth house, it brings losses of all kinds, notably from twelfth house secret enemies and far and distant places. Finally, as the twelfth is the house of seclusion, which includes hospitals, Trump could end up in the hospital with harm to his cardiac system or head --the latter which could be psychological. Since Trump's hollow man ego cannot admit defeat, if he is defeated in some serious way, the conflict between that reality and his ego can bring a psychological crisis to his weakened mind.

Look for Trump to say/do things that are over the top, even for him. and then totter around. He could also enter into seclusion by going out of sight -- hiding out at one of his resorts.

Scorpio is a water sign holding great harms. Saturn stationing there brings the hurricane which is building rapidly and moving toward Texas.

Accuweather reports, Hurricane Harvey poised to unleash flooding disaster on Texas into early next week. Note that article states Harvey will stall and bring disastrous flooding -- fitting with Saturn stationing in watery Scorpio.

The (above) August 12 entry, stated, As for hurricanes, it doesn't appear they will hit this summer. The fall, though, could bring a hurricane, and the first week in October looks dangerous. Then, Mars, the planet of storms, will be afflicting Saturn, planet of destruction, in watery Scorpio -- like last August. Saturn in Scorpio is a definitive hurricane influence. But without Mars, the planet of war. bringing harm too, a major hurricane would not be called for.

Remember, however, that 8/26 is a sensitive date, as identified in the (above)August 20 entry, A Final Piece Of The Eclipse Puzzle. Mars is not yet with Rahu in Leo. They conjoin very late on August 26. And, they conjoin the day Mars enters Leo, at the very edge of the sign boundary 00:02 degrees. The weak sign edge does not contain Mars's fire lit by Rahu within Leo (one sign) but lets it explode through to the adjacent sign, Cancer.

So, Mars is indeed becoming active in bringing a hurricane. The dragon Rahu on Mars intensifies Mars' harms, and the wash over into Scorpio brings water storms. (Note: as Rahu is vermin, look for snakes, insects and other vermin to float around in flood waters. Also, as Rahu is toxic, look for chemicals to inundate flooded areas.)

I could have seen this combination of Saturn stationing in Scorpio and Mars crashing into Rahu as bringing hurricane karma. But, I didn't. I correct that omission here and mention it looks like the storm will indeed bring prolonged and serious flooding for the next several days.

August's Karmic Onslaught Continues

Friday evening's events certainly expressed the dual heavy transits of Saturn's station (ending retrograde) and Mars conjoining Rahu -- hurricane Harvey's landfall and Trump's news dump, Trump gives new meaning to the Friday night news dump, enraging his critics.

The (above) August 24 entry Next Up -- Saturn Turns Forward explained Saturn's August 25 changing direction is ponderous -- crawling to a stop, a full day stationary and finally turning to regular forward motion. And forward will also begin at a snail's pace.

Too, Mars didn't conjoin Rahu until very late Saturday evening. They remain close together for the next few days.

That's why the August 24 entry stated, ...the storm will indeed bring prolonged and serious flooding for the next several days. And Look for Trump to say/do things that are over the top, even for him. and then totter around. He could also enter into seclusion by going out of sight -- hiding out at one of his resorts.

The storm did turn into a rain generator, which promises deluges the next several days. And Trump went to Camp David this weekend, where he is truly secluded. But, with the weekend hiatus, nothing much happened to him.

This coming week, however, will be tough both for floods and a flood of criticism against Trump.

Thus far, the all-important Moon has not been involved in the karmic-crunch of Saturn stationing and Mars conjoining Rahu. Starting just before dawn tomorrow (Monday) morning, however, the Moon will transit into it's fallen (weak) sign of Scorpio -- as shown in the below transit chart.

That will unleash more destructive karma from the storm and in response to Trump's antics. You can also see in this chart how close Rahu and Mars remain, just 2/3 of one degree apart, which adds to the virulence.

August's Karmic Onslaught Finale

The below heavy August transits timeline shows clearly by just the number of transit events why this month is labeled August's Karmic Onslaught. The (above) August 6 entry Follow The Moon! zeroed in on the total solar eclipse, ...this solar eclipse August 21 targets Trump's Mars... This is a fixed karma he'll be knocked down -- and soon kicked out -- a step ahead in the Second Progressive Age.

Since this timeline was published in the June 8 entry Heavy Summer/Fall Transits two further sensitive dates were identified. (The planetary dispositions don't give up their secrets easily. They have to be coaxed out over time, like deciphering an ancient clay tablet.)

The (above) August 18 entry A Supercharged Solar Eclipse explained how tremendously potent this eclipse is. Naturally, with other heavy transits this month in the mix, it's a transformational interval.

The (above) August 20 entry A Final Piece Of The Eclipse Puzzle narrowed down the week-long Mars conjunction with Rahu to August 26. With this congruent to Saturn turning forward August 25, major events must occur -- Hurricane Harvey and Trump's Friday night announcements, Trump gives new meaning to the Friday night news dump, enraging his critics -- especially the Joe Arpaio pardon. (Note, this is the fourth Trump faux pax this month, each matching up with an August sensitive date.)

The July 28 entry August's Karmic Onslaught Looms identified September 2 as a sensitive date, An eclipse is like a sinkhole. So, when other planets cross that point at 4:46 Leo, events are most likely. This happens September 2, when Mercury and Mars conjoin at that point.

While September 2 is actually the next month, the planetary karma begins when Mars gets close to Mercury -- especially since with Mercury retrograde, they are moving toward each other. Today, Wednesday, which is Mercury's day of the week, is the inception of this destructive karma. Remember too that the all-important watery Moon remains in Scorpio until mid afternoon today, where she has signaled more and continued rain since Monday. So, we have aggressive Mars on communicative Mercury hitting today, at the same time that the Moon remains weakly harmful.

Look to Trump again -- for the fifth time -- bowing to the planetary karmas letting his aggressive nature exert itself. His speech this afternoon, Springfield, Mo., prepares for President Trump to visit and make speech on tax reform. Although the speech is in a private setting at a factory, expected protestors outside will stir him up.

On the other hand, remember Rahu the dragon, is the U.S.'s current planetary cycle (Dasa). It brings unanticipated, uncontrollable and overwhelming events -- like Hurricane Harvey in the real world, and Game Of Thrones in entertainment. Trump, the bear, who is also a dragon totem, cannot be predicted, except that he will act like a dragon.
