Below again is this spring's Retrograde Season planets,

Jupiter February 7 to June 10
Venus March 5 April 15
Saturn April 6 to August 26
Mercury April 10 to May 3

Venus retrograde is, of course, over, and Mercury will thankfully resume forward motion on Wednesday -- just two more days of confusions and nervous system jitters.

For most of us, Mercury forward will be a great improvement, especially with Venus exalted in Pisces until May 30.

These retrograde have also been fortunate for progressives. The April 27 entry hit a bulls eye with this prediction,

Congress reaches deal to keep government open through September, Congressional negotiators reached an agreement late Sunday on a broad spending package to fund the government through the end of September, alleviating fears of a government shutdown...

Truly notable here is how badly Trump failed in his own agenda,  The Daily 202: Eight ways Trump got rolled in his first budget negotiation. While this is welcome is shouldn't be very surprising. The Celestial Wheel has been very clear how weakened Trump has been with the retrogrades and also Rahu (head-of-the-dragon eclipse point) exactly on his Ascendant point -- the self. The April 17 entry stated,

The obvious question now is how Trump will fare in his great desire, and need for, a significant win.  This is especially now with his latest push to repeal and replace Obamacare this week.

Trump's chart will be better with Mercury forward on Wednesday.  Also, his Dasas (planetary cycles) are improved with the Sun replacing Venus tomorrow, May 2.  The Sun gives him power, but this subcycle only lasts a week -- until May 2.  Too, this takes Venus out of his Dasas lineup, and as Venus is his planet of career and close associates, its been a double whammy in these areas -- Venus in his Dasas and in transit in his eighth house of calamity.  Further, Rahu is now at 6:25 Leo, moving away from his Ascendant point, which has been effectively eclipsed him.

Trump

There remain negatives, however. Trump continues to run Jupiter/Jupiter/Saturn in his Dasas until June 30, and they both are powerlessly retrograde for a long time -- Jupiter June 10 and Saturn August 26.  Recall the Celestial Wheel analogy of these two big planets, which steer the solar system, being like the a ship's twin engines -- no propulsion.  He can't succeed just by blustering, even if his ship had a sail!

And Venus transiting his eighth will continue to haunt him with excess energy but also reversals -- in career and from close associates.  The heat isn't off on the Russian investigations, for example.

What may be most significant, however, is an excess of kama -- desire. Trump's egotistical Sun will be transiting his tenth house of career starting mid month, joining an angry/vindictive Mars there.  The below transit chart is for May 22, showing the Sun and Mars in Taurus, Trump's tenth house of career.  Critical here is that his birth chart Rahu and Sun are also posted late in Taurus (see Trump's chart, above).  As Mars and the Sun cross his birth chart Rahu and Sun, he'll be so engulfed in kama, he'll explode with anger.  This is also one of the intervals during which his health is affected -- cardiac, stroke, eyesight.... As Trump seethes, the stress on his body increases.

As May unfolds, Trump will become increasingly brazen, argumentative and power-hungry.  We can see this in his character in supporting strongmen dictators and also now chafing because Congress is slow -- the legislative process protecting the minority in the Senate with its 60 vote super majority.

Watch for this drama to unfold all month.  Let's just hope Trump doesn't do something really stupid militarily.  He might, just to show the world he's the boss.  There is a caveat here, though, for Mars makes Trump angry and brave.  But Venus, which rules his third house of bravery and adventures, is badly placed in the twelfth house of loss with restrictive Saturn.  So, this guy bluffs and then backs down.

This past week's party line vote to Repeal And Replace Obamacare was a forced move by Republicans to do something.   Otherwise, Trump and Congress would be stalled an unable to move ahead on health care and all the other cherished supply-side, states rights Republican policies.

It appears Trump himself put so much pressure on Congressmen that he got a couple to flip over to barely pass the bill -- just 2 votes over the needed majority.  It was a nasty and messy way to maintain the momentum needed for the Republican agenda. It was not just a carrot and a stick but a carrot and a sledgehammer.  This brings to mind the old saying, Be Careful What You Ask For....

The last Celestial Wheel entry, the May 1 Just Two More Days Of Mercury Retrograde, advised (Emphasis added)

So, the Friday, May 5 House vote  on healthcare was during this interval.

Keep in mind that Venus continues to transit Trump's eighth house of catastrophe until May 30, making him full of life but also bringing havoc to the signs/house Venus rules in Trump's chart .  These are the third house of close associates and tenth house of career.  So, just this Venus all month in Pisces is a strong negative on the new health care bill progressing -- being passed by the Senate, agreed upon by both parties.... or even to navigate through the legislative process.  And then, there's the backlash from the public losing health care insurances and the rich getting a huge tax cut.  There doesn't appear to be a good end to this, proving doing something is not well thought out legislation.

Here are Trump's Dasas (planetary cycles) for the next several weeks.  Note again the Sun subcycle ends May 8 -- tomorrow.  Then, a Moon subcycle replaces Sun until May 19. The Moon is a very bad planet for Trump, including ruling the twelfth house of loss and far and distant places. This bodes badly for both the health care law, as well as his relationships overseas.  (Because Trump plans on traveling to the Mideast and Europe May 19, that trip can be poisoned before it begins.)

Further, and this is really the big deal karmically, the May 1 entry also discussed Mars and the Sun transiting through Taurus this month,

Certainly Trump will use this energy to protect his health care legislative win in the House -- for if it stalls in the Senate, he'll protect the House legislation at all costs -- which will backfire. Then, rather than building upon a big health care win, he'll travel abroad with a loss into hostile territories.

Sometimes when looking for forecasting to actualize, the Celestial Wheel entry is delayed -- blocked.

This has been the case for a major prediction made in May 7 entry, Be Careful What You Wish For, ...he'll travel abroad with a loss into hostile territories.  I've been trying for several days to compose a new entry, but nothing in the news spoke to the predictions -- until yesterday. Then headlines blared, Trump revealed highly classified information to Russian foreign minister and ambassador. Note the date, May 10.

This article, Trump Revealed Highly Classified Intelligence to Russia, in Break With Ally, Officials Say, explains where the information sharing ally is located, A Middle Eastern ally that closely guards its own secrets provided the information.  It also described the impacts of Trump's indiscretion Trump's upon his first overseas trip, Beyond angering a partner and calling into question the ability of the United States to keep secrets, the episode threatened to overshadow Mr. Trump’s first trip abroad as president.  He departs on Friday for Saudi Arabia, Israel, Italy and Belgium.

Here's the prediction from the May 7 entry,

There are two other afflictions to Trump's chart which I missed during Mercury retrograde.  First, transit Venus in Trump's eighth house of calamity also harms his twelfth house, for that's where his birth chart Venus is placed. The twelfth is success abroad.  This is obviously another harm to his upcoming overseas trips.

Second, while transit Rahu, which moves backward, has cleared his birth chart Ascendant point (self), Rahu is now nearly on top of his birth chart Mars.  So, transit Mars is crossing birth chart Rahu, and transit Rahu is crossing birth chart Mars -- a double hit of excess desire. This excessive desire combination brings fury when blocked and also, not previously mentioned, victimizing. This time, however, it looks like Trump is the victim -- notably on this trip, but also here at home -- not the victimizer of this all ego and no soul man.

In closing, Trump's May crisis is just the beginning of the end.  The end, Trump's being thrown out, comes in just a few months, as explained in the April 4 entry, Venus In Pisces Through May,

Not mentioned in this excerpt is the August 21 total solar eclipse, at 4:46 Leo, just over a degree from his birth chart Mars at 3:40 Leo. While eclipse effects play out over several months, it seems this eclipse shadowing of a man born on an eclipse must spell his doom. Then, with the destroyer of the Second Gilded Age finished with his work, the Second Progressive Age can begin to rebuild. Look for a new leader to emerge.

Trump's  Trouble With Close Associates

The Celestial Wheel has predicted many times that Trump would have trouble from close associates during this long Venus transit through Pisces -- his eighth house of catastrophe.

This results because Venus rules his third house of close associates.

Is Tuesday Already here?

One of the really cool predictive tools in my Vedic toolbox is the planets' days of the week.  Each of the seven planets owns one.  They fit perfectly into our seven day week, and pretty well into the English words we use for the days and the planets.

Here's the listing:   Sunday -- Sun, Monday -- Moon, Tuesday -- Mars, Wednesday -- Mercury, Thursday -- Jupiter, Friday -- Venus and Saturday -- Saturn.

When making predictions, we look at the significations in the birth chart being analyzed, transits (where planets are in today's skies), planetary cycles (the eerily accurate Dasa system in Vedic Astrology) and the day of the week. It's not surprise, then, many conflicts, wars and other violences occur on Tuesday, owned by violent Mars.

Here's an example. The March 17, 2003 In-depth Forecast, The Iraq War, stated, Tomorrow (Tuesday) the Moon will be full in Bush's 3rd house of desires, fueling his religious fundamentalism and thirst for power, and since this is Mars' day of the week, Bush may begin the air war late in the day.

The 2003 Iraq invasion was reported to have begun on Thursday, March 20, as per Wikipedia's 2003 invasion of Iraq, The 2003 invasion of Iraq lasted from 20 March to 1 May 2003 and signalled the start of the Iraq War.

However, the article also stated,

I addressed this in the March 25 In-depth Forecast, The Iraq War Unfolds, quoting Bob Woodward's article, Attack Was 48 Hours Old When It 'Began'

This is not as clear as the Wikipedia article's dates, but the point that the war began before it began, and The Celestial Wheel made an accurate prediction about that is documented.

There are a couple of curiosities here.  First, calendars have changed many times since the ancient Indians devised this schedule of planets owning days of the week.  What was Tuesday in a 5000 year old Indian calendar (or even 4000, 3000, 2000 calendar in the West) would certainly not be Tuesday in today's calendar.

An answer to this issue is that because mass consciousness believes tomorrow, May 23, to be a Tuesday, that day does in fact carry Tuesday energy, and thereby Mars energy.

The second issue is not so easily solved.  Because there are 24 time zones, Tuesday is not Tuesday all day and night at the same time over the globe.  For example, Trump is now in the Mideast.  Israel's time zone is seven hours ahead of Washington, DC.  In California, the difference is ten hours, nearly half a day!  So, much of what happens here in the US on Monday is already Tuesday in Israel.  That's an answer, certainly, but only a partial one.

This today (Monday) CNN article title is self evident, Trump: 'I never mentioned the word or the name Israel' to Russians. But the article explains,

So, Trump got himself in hot water today (Monday) in Washington, DC but late Monday in Israel, or perhaps even Tuesday there.  This event sure sounds like a Tuesday Mars discord.

The (above) May 7 Celestial Wheel entry was clear about Trump having Mars discords abroad, (Because Trump plans on traveling to the Mideast and Europe May 19, that trip can be poisoned before it begins.) ...As May unfolds, Trump will become increasingly brazen, argumentative and power-hungry. ... rather than building upon a big health care win, he'll travel abroad with a loss into hostile territories. Notice the chart showing this stress is for today, May 22.

Of course, as this Celestial Wheel is being finished at 4:30 Monday, it's already Tuesday in Israel.  So, if Israel's time zone is the controlling one, then whatever happened earlier today is likely to get worse for Trump during the next twenty four hours.  Or maybe he'll make other mistakes, enraging the Israelis and or Palestinians?

I Want to Hold Your Hand

 

We all remember this iconic Beatles song, I Want To Hold Your Hand . That was a tender love song.

Here's more hand holding, but decidedly less romantic Melania Trump swats Donald Trump's hand away as he attempts to hold it multiple times on his trip abroad.

On Monday, walking down a tarmac in Tel Aviv

And again Tuesday when they deplaned in Rome.

What's going on? The May 16, 2017 Celestial Wheel, Wait For It, stated, This excessive desire combination brings fury when blocked and also, not previously mentioned, victimizing. This time, however, it looks like Trump is the victim -- notably on this trip, but also here at home -- not the victimizer of this       all-ego and no-soul man.

These actions directly relate to previous forecasting about Trump being thrown out when Saturn, the planet of constriction, crosses his perceptional Moon -- called Sadi Sati,

The January 11, 2017 Celestial Wheel entry stated,

The February 3, 2017 Celestial Wheel entry, The Hollow Man, also wrote about how Sadi Sati -- Saturn crossing Trump's Moon, results in his being thrown out and further harming his health, for his Moon rules the twelfth house of hospitalization. It included this amazing information,

Perhaps these aggressive behaviors are early warnings of Trump again losing it when faced with failure -- as he is in this still new presidency.  Landing in the hospital incoherent can be the reason he'll be thrown out of office.

Of course Melania will visit him in the hospital, but will she then hold his hand?  And Ivanka will come too, if she has the time considering this deceptive woman will have pushed her brothers aside to taken over the Trump Organization.

Follow The Money

There's been so much craziness with Trump, it's easy to forget the fundamental driver for this billionaire is money. He's spent his entire life pursuing wealth -- at all costs to others, even himself.

This makes Vedic-chart sense because his Jupiter (wealth) is tremendous.  First, it is stationary, in his chart -- a signification which trumps everything else.  Second, Jupiter rules his fifth house of investments and his eighth house of inheritances. Third, Jupiter aspects his eighth house.  Fourth, Jupiter itself is placed in the second house of income. There are actually more wealth indicators from this Jupiter, but you get the drift.

Astrocartography is a useful tool that plots where the planets are strongest geographically.  Below is Trump's Astrocartography map showing his Jupiter line (yellow) going through Russsia and the Mideast.  Moskva, btw is Moscow.

Trump is naturally attracted to areas close to this Jupiter line -- notably Russia and Saudi Arabia.  That's where the money is for him.  Through the ongoing blizzard of news by and about Trump, there's a thread that Russian and Saudi money have been keeping him afloat -- financing his golf courses and other investments.  After all, the U.S. banks shut Trump off long ago due to his bankruptcies and litigiousness.

Money from these two nations, then, seem to be the bait that Trump has swallowed whole -- the hook firmly lodged in his gut.  That's why Trump won't release his taxes.  That's why he favors these oppressive regimes over democratic friends.  That's why Trump has, and continues to, exert pressure everywhere he can to shut down the Russian investigation, which has tendrils to the Saudis.

As the days and weeks fly by, news items and investigations will show this is Trump's treason -- unless of course he lands in the hospital with a nervous breakdown, heart attack or stroke.

Here's another fascination from Trump's Astrocartography.  Notice the fighting Mars (red) line running through Germany and Italy?  That's why he pushes against Germany and went hard at the G7 countries, especially during the meeting in Sicily.

Also, there's a Venus (pink) line running through Great Britain and France.  Venus is love, of course, but his Venus is manipulative.   This is why he acts nicely toward these countries, its just another Trump sham.
