The planets have been tremendously stressed since August 31 -- when the vicious four planet stellium in Leo became tight, and thereby influential.  We're now in an interval during which the clashing planetary energies bring massively disruptive events leading to trends that can truly alter reality -- societal, environmental, economic and political.

Let's review the planetary dispositions operating now.

First, however, recall the current turbulence has its source in the July 2 total solar eclipse which hit the U.S. chart (Jupiter wealth and home) and Trump's (Mercury mind and reputation) chart hard.  That blocking energy (which is what eclipses do) created a void, or weak point, that has reverberated forward in time, creating instability for the entire solar system.  Think of a ship weakened by a rogue wave that later encounters heavy weather, causing it to take on water, even flounder.

Below is a sign chart of current transits -- where the planets are in today's skies.  I've used the natural zodiac, beginning with Aries, to add the houses and thereby more detail.  (Signs are the environment planets experience, and houses are the areas of action.   Thus, for example, Leo is the sign of the self/ego, and the fifth house that of kingship/governing.)

First, the July 2 eclipse is not shown because it happened in the past.

Second, we can see that all the planets are to the right/below the eclipse points -- Rahu (Ra) and Ketu (Ke).  This creates a special combination called a Kala Sarpa Yoga -- time serpent.  With all the planets crowded into one half the zodiac, the energy is overly concentrated.  And those planets which do not get along, butt against each other creating friction and discords that overwhelm free will.  Hence, Kala Sarpa results in highly fated outcomes.

(Note: This Kala Sarpa Yoga is made more harmful by fiery, spiritual and dissolving Ketu being closely conjunct with airy, cold, rational and limiting Saturn. As the planet of form and structure, duty and responsibility, Saturn is attacked by fiery and boundless Ketu.  One way to understand this that big plans erupt, only to fall apart.)

Third, within the Kala Sarpa Yoga limitations, there's the four planet stellium in Leo, the sign of the self /ego and fifth house of government, investments and the mind.  As stated above this began August 31, when Hurricane Damian first became destructive and continues still.  The Celestial Wheel has compared this with four cats in a bag.

Fourth, Mars, the planet of storms, throws an aspect (glance) to kapha (watery) Jupiter, which rules the home in the U.S. chart, and is now located in the sign of Scorpio -- another water influence that is, in this case, destructive.

Considering that Kala Sarpa Yoga concentrates the planetary energies, and the stellium does the same, it's like distilling sugar cane into 80 proof rum and then concentrating it more in a further distillation into 151 proof rum.  That's stuff is so potent, it catches fire.

We thereby have Hurricane Damian, plus the horrific mass murder in Texas, the dive boat deaths in California, and Trump becoming crazier by the day...  The world is a free fall -- out of control.  Anything can happen.  (In my 18 unit apartment complex, three folks landed in the hospital about two weeks ago and two remain in rehabilitation facilities from road accidents and renal surgery.  This is not normal.)

The issue is when will this abate?  The stellium in Leo begins to dissipate September 10 when faster-moving Venus exits Leo. Mercury will follow the next day.  That leaves the fiery Sun and Mars to duke it out alone in Leo until mid September.  Kala Sarpa is temporarily interrupted when the fast-moving Moon passes Ketu September 9.  Thus, we have a few more days of havoc before the planetary energies begin to settle down.

In the meantime, ride out the karmic storms in world events and your own personal experiences with care, and do what you can to help others.  I visited the surgery patient neighbor in rehab yesterday -- just in the nick of time to move her car from illegal parking and get her electric and storage bills paid.  Immediately following, a new client contacted me.  Remember, karma is simply cause and effect -- action and reaction.  Whatever good you do during a trying time like this will come back to you with positive results.   However, what good you fail to do, or actions that are negative, will be redoubled in troubles.

The (above) September 5 Free Fall advised the peaked planetary dissonances resulted in the world actually being out of control, in free fall.  Then, Hurricane Damian was in full rampage going up the U.S. coast, there were violences everywhere and Trump was becoming crazier by the day.

Not mentioned in that forecast were the two primary predictions of Trump's reputation and the U.S. economy both failing.  Entries this past summer built upon these twin predictions.  The August 19 Closer To The Economic Cliff explained,

It is the interplay of forces in society that determine when a major economic catastrophe happens.  That is why economics is studied in humanities -- the college of arts and sciences -- not business schools.  And even there, predictions for economic loss are uncertain as to timing, even as they can be certain as to result.  There's no business school econometrics study, nor similarly techie logarithm, that can accurately project when the lemmings begin jumping over the cliff, or even that a collapse is coming soon -- when bankers begin jumping off buildings as markets collapse,

As for Trump suffering his own mental collapse, I'm reminded of a friend's comment about his mother in a nursing home with Alzheimer's, Mother is not really suffering, for her mind is so far gone, she's always happy.

Anyway, in the Vedic astrology college of arts and sciences, the energy is beginning to abate.  Yes, the July 2 eclipse continues to reverberate; mystical dissolving Ketu keeps hammering form and structure Saturn; Mars aspects Jupiter closely; and the Kala Sarpa Yoga swings in and out of activation when the Moon is in or out of the Time Serpent's grasp.  But the truly cruel stellium of Mars, Sun, Venus and Mercury in Leo has broken up -- with faster moving Venus and Mercury forging into Virgo.  Here's a chart for today showing these dispositions. You can clearly see Mercury and Venus now in Virgo.

It certainly seems circumstances are beginning to calm a little.  (Note, you don't need to understand all the above described five harmful planetary dispositions.)  Just understand that the four remains issues remain, and that's a big enough number to disrupt the heavens -- which reflect in their energies the conditions on the earth.

We must all continue on, doing our duty, keeping our heads down, and perhaps most critical, leading by example.  Yes, the Second Progressive Age is beginning, and it will sweep along everything in its path to create a better world of shared democratic values. But there's no such thing as inevitability in human affairs.  To insure that favorable outcome, we must all participate.  And even if the Second Progressive Age comes, it will be through turmoil comes change, and we can individually help limit the damage, especially to the vulnerable among us.

The September 11 Energy Abating explained,

That stellium occurred when Hurricane Dorian rampaged through the Caribbean and all the way up the coast to Canada.

This chart below for today shows the hot Sun has escaped hot Mars in Leo to join creative Venus and intellectual Mercury in Virgo. So, the Sun and Mars are not attacking each other any longer.  But the energetic abatement is only that, with other serious planetary clashes and pressures continuing.  Even the Sun/Mercury/Venus conjunction is problematical.  The hot egotistical Sun is stimulating exalted mental Mercury and loving Venus in her fallen sign -- destabilizing somber intellects with brash, even impulsively foolish ideas and actions.

Transits September 19, 2019

Basically, the planets remain so conflicted, it's impossible to divine how the karmas may unfold.  1. The July 2 total solar eclipse continues to reverberate.  2. Saturn is forward now*, and tight, with dissolving Ketu -- mayhem.  3. Mars aspects Jupiter in deadly Scorpio, wasting his wealth.  4. The Kala Sarpa Yoga -- all planets being on one side of Rahu and Ketu, compressing their energy -- keeps turning on and off with the Moon's cycling through.  5. And now there's the above-mentioned Sun/Venus/Mercury foolish impulsivity.  6. I've probably missed something.:-(

Digressing just a little, recall this pattern repeating in 2019 from the summer/fall of 2008 suggests another economic debacle, as well as Trump losing his mind and reputation -- which in 2019 are obviously all interlinked.  Exactly as the stock markets plunged mid September 2008, Hurricane Ike hit. The August 19 Closer To The Economic Cliff explained,

It looked like Hurricane Dorian exhausted the deadliest tropical storm karmic energy and that remaining storms would be limited in number and ferocity.  That would bode well for the hurricane/economic crash pattern not repeating and the skies calming.  Well, that's didn't happen, as shown in this current image from Accuweather.

There are sooooo many storms out there, forming, reforming, moving erratically or stalled, like the current storm off Houston.  I bet the meteorologists are becoming totally confused!  So too then are astrologers.

We can draw two conclusions from this intense hurricane development.  First, God Is Bowling in a ferocious way.  This much storm energy in two oceans indicates the overall energetic levels are also sky high.  Second, that suggests further disruptions politically and economically.

Finally, recall ending tag line from the August 31 Teetering On The Edge Of The Cliff.  But wait  What about the secreted government, private skullduggery?  Isn't there something going on in that arena now?

Rahu Is Rampaging

With everything going on in the world -- reflected in the planets' conflicted dispositions -- it's impossible to see clearly ahead.  Well, as the U.S. Vedic chart running its 18 year Rahu Dasa, it's expect the unexpected, which is also uncontrollable.  Whether it's a snake you happen upon in your garden, or a mythological dragon as in Game of Thrones, the energy is cold-blooded reptilian, an ancient alien in our warm-blooded midst.

Rahu Dasa (planetary cycle) in the U.S. chart began early December 2015 and continues until 2033.  Its influence builds over time.  As the Destroyer Of Now, Rahu is the Creator Of Tomorrow -- which The Celestial Wheel has often cited.  Being placed int he terrible eighth house of catastrophe and hidden things, Rahu dives down deeply to bring up all kinds of traumas and fears, including a mystical paranoia of foreigners.  That Mercury is also in the eighth amplifies these neuroses.  (See the August 7, 2008 U.S. Psychology.)

Still early in Rahu cycle, we can see dramatic and abrupt events changing our world.  The current scandalous impeachment inquiry into Trump's dishonesty is both a classic Rahu-inspired situation and one that will actualize over this season, and likely next, as a game changer -- another leap ahead into the Second Progressive Age.

Keep in mind a fundamental error by the media and the public.  They believe this is a static situation, but it's not!  This is dynamic --  responding to Rahu's unexpected and uncontrollable serpent energy.  So, no, any upcoming Senate vote on impeachment will not be a result of the situation today but rather of the unfolding drama over time.

Since Rahu cannot be anticipated nor controlled, specific prediction(s) is beyond even the most skillful and intuitive astrologer.  However, two solid karmas are evident.  Take a look at the below three charts: today's transit chart showing dispositions now, the U.S. chart and Trump's chart.

Transit Rahu entered Gemini in late March.  At just under 20 degrees, the dragon is one third through its 18 month rampage through Gemini.  (He'll finish Gemini in late September 2020 -- just before the election.)  This sign is more important than others in this chart because four planets reside there -- over one half the total.  Know that Rahu attacks the entire sign/house of relationships.  Traditional and long established groups of all kinds are being torn asunder -- with peak destructions occurring when Rahu attacks planets.  Rahu already passed the governing/wealthy Sun at 22 degrees and is on his way to Jupiter at 15 degrees.  Jupiter in this chart is the higher mind, wealth, deepest beliefs, the self and the glue that binds the country together.  These are being subjected to Rahu's wrath.

(*Note because the Sun and Jupiter are the wo major wealth planets in this chart, Rau's transit across them is a potent karma for the economic loss long predicted in The Celestial Wheel.)

Transit Rahu will conjoin birth chart Jupiter November 12.  The dynamic is the destructions will build and then peak.  Thus, the next five weeks or so will be heavy bombardment. 

Now look at Trump's chart with his Mercury mind at 15:45 degrees.  (As an aside here, his Mercury being so close to the U.S. Jupiter's 15:13 is why he's able to mentally connect, relate and manipulate the country's higher mind, deepest beliefs, the self and the glue that binds the country together.)

Rahu's influence upon Mercury is to stimulate fear, even paranoia -- just as in the U.S. chart's eighth house.  This means Trump is already fearful, striking out willy nilly, and will be increasingly irrational.  This dynamic will build as the impeachment inquiry pressurizes him, especially as he blurts out other misdeeds.  It's a self reinforcing loop of pressure on Trump and his inevitable doubling down that only increases impeachment harms to him.
