The Pincers

Recent Celestial Wheel entries have focused upon the dual negative karmas of the active harms of Rahu and Ketu conjoined with malefic planets -- plus instability resulting from the protective big planets, Jupiter and Saturn, both being passively retrograde.

(See the below chart for June 4.  Notice in this chart Jupiter and Saturn both had R -- retrograde.

Also you can see clearly that Ketu afflicts Saturn closely and Mars is closing in on Rahu.)

This combination of active maliciousness passive protection and has set up a perilous situation in which painful karmic jolts are literally inevitable but these also will not be resolved quickly -- and thereby not without further losses.

Consider a car careering down a mountain highway with no guardrails.  When it loses traction, the car tumbles into a deep ravine, damaged and inaccessible to rescuers.

The triggering karma for disaster is violent/hot Mars colliding in Gemini with cold vicious Rahu, the head-of-the-dragon eclipse point June 11.  (Mars transits Gemini from May 7 to June 22.)  See the below chart for June 11 showing Mars and Rahu getting ready to collide in Gemini -- which they will June 12 at 5 PM at 23:45 degrees Gemini.

June 11, 2019

The May 2 Chaos June 4 researched dates for a signal event leading up to the primary karmic clash because,

Yet, June 11 is not and exact calamity date, for warrior Mars begins firing his flaming arrows at 3 or 4 degrees distance from another planet.  We can back up the chaos date to Tuesday, June 4. That is Mars' day of the week, and also, the all-important Moon will be in the mix in Gemini then. These are confirming karmas.

Well, nothing signal for the U.S. occurred June 4, or even a day either side of that date.  Yes, there have been a lot of violences recently but none historically deterministic like 9-11.  It is also true that sometimes sensitive information is not revealed until a after the fact, but we don't know that yet.  Here's that chart from the May 2 Chaos June 4,

June 4, 2019

Mars then was just over five degrees from Rahu -- perhaps causing his flaming arrows to fall wide or short of their target.  You may recall similar scenes from Season 8 of Game Of Thrones.  More importantly, however, is that transits (and these are transit charts) are secondary karma to the Dasas (planetary cycles) of the chart considered -- in this case the U.S. chart.  Here are those planetary cycles,

Notice that the Sun -- kingship and wealth in the U.S. chart -- begins a fourth level cycle June 10, lasting 6 days.

Now look at transit Mars over the U.S. chart, as displayed below.  As shown in the above chart for June 11, when Mars begins colliding with Rahu, both planets will be at 23:45 Gemini -- on top of the U.S. Sun at 22:38 Gemini.  In Vedic Astrology, when planets are within 2 degrees, it's a bullseye.

United States

Thereby, the U.S. chart's primary karma planetary cycles include the Sun June 10 to 16, during which interval Mars and Rahu collide.  Previous entries have predicted economic losses and also loss in government.  For Trump, his mind and reputation are under tremendous pressures.  He won't be able to KFC or Whopper his way out of this one!

Let's see what happens today through Wednesday.  Unless the planets have followed much of the U.S. in abandoning reality, something big is gonna pop.

The Mars/Rahu Collision

The (above) June 10 The Pincers discussed the exact conjunction -- collision -- of Mars and Rahu June 12 at 5 PM at 23:45 degrees Gemini.

Now look at transit Mars over the U.S. chart, as displayed below. ...when Mars begins colliding with Rahu, both planets will be at 23:45 Gemini -- on top of the U.S. Sun at 22:38 Gemini.  In Vedic Astrology, when planets are within 2 degrees, it's a bullseye.

United States

That Monday entry closed with, Let's see what happens today through Wednesday.  Unless the planets have followed much of the U.S. in abandoning reality, something big is gonna pop.

Because the U.S. chart's Dasas (planetary cycles) include the Sun, there would be challenges with that planet's significations -- kingship and wealth.

Previous entries have predicted economic losses and also loss in government.  For Trump, his mind and reputation are under tremendous pressures. He won't be able to KFC or Whopper his way out of this one!

Economic losses have begun U.S. hiring slows sharply as Trump’s trade war starts to bite.

And looky here at Trump's crumbling mind and reputation,

WATCH: Fox cuts away from Trump babbling about farmers not being able to connect tractors to the internet

WATCH: Trump blatantly lies about Mueller report and claims it showed he ‘rebuffed’ Russia

WATCH: Trump babbles nonsensically when asked why he said he’d stop spying on Kim Jong-un

Finally, and we need a drum roll on this one!

Trump says he’d consider accepting information from foreign governments on his opponents

Also, the May 11 Mars & Rahu -- Pincers had previously cautioned,

And then in June, transit Mars conjoins with transit Rahu, the fire-breathing head-of-the-dragon eclipse point.  Warrior Mars combines with inflammatory Rahu for tremendous hatred and violences, some vengeful -- in both the natural and man-made world.  Explosive is a good descriptor here.

Well, two Mideast tankers did explode -- Two oil tankers attacked in Gulf of Oman.

And here's a bunch of explosive violences -- man-made and natural,

Beijing walks a thin line as Hong Kong erupts at the worst possible time

Memphis protesters hurl bricks and rocks at police, injuring 36

Cleveland Area Rattled By 4.0 Magnitude Earthquake

Earthquake Strikes In Central Pa., Reportedly Felt In Parts Of Md.

Agung volcano (Bali, Indonesia): strong explosion this morning, ash to 30,000 ft

(Note: Saturn is things under the earth and form and structure. Because it is harmed by being conjunct dissolving Ketu, as well as a mean aspect from hot warrior Mars, earth crust events are expected.)

Now that Mars/Rahu energy has peaked and is sliding off, the question naturally is, What's coming next?  Below is a transit chart -- where the planets are in today's skies, for today.

Transits June 13, 2019

And here's a listing of major upcoming planetary events:

Mercury will cross the continuing Mars/Rahu conjunction in the next couple of days.

And then the Sun will quickly follow Mercury's path -- entering the Gemini arena.

That disposition will begin setting up the Sun for a powerfully destructive total eclipse July 2 at 16:30 Gemini.

This summer's eclipse season will be completed with the partial lunar eclipse July 16 at 29:56 Sagittarius.

Going back to June, Mars will cross into Cancer June 22 to begin beating on the U.S. chart's eighth house of disaster,
where its Mercury and Rahu are placed -- which is Trump's twelfth house of loss, where his Venus and Saturn reside.

There must be tremendous upheavals and destructions this summer -- including economic woes,Trump being hammered and certainly early hurricanes.  Upcoming Celestial Wheel entries will discuss these upcoming planetary karmas, attempting to identify area of concern and separate the wheat from the chafe.

Follow-up Mercury On Mars

Yesterday's (above) entry June 13 The Mars/Rahu Collision  "...included a listing of major upcoming planetary events:"  The first is this one "Mercury will cross the continuing Mars/Rahu conjunction in the next couple of days."  (Note that this entry has been posted to the web, including the missing links.)

That was an understatement, for as shown in this transit chart for today, Mercury is also closely afflicted by Rahu.  Further, remember Saturn in Sagittarius throws an aspect across the zodiac to Gemini.  So, Mercury is receiving energy from all three of the major malefics -- Mars, Rahu and Saturn.

Transits June 14, 2019

Consider Mercury's primary significations to understand what areas of life -- including yours -- are impacted.  Mercury is:

communications
nervous system
respiratory system
acute illness
arms/hands/shoulders
enemies

Mars makes Mercury impatient, heightens nervous tension and causes communications mix ups.  It also brings infections, notably in the respiratory system, and accidents involving the hands and upper chest.  Crazed enemies can suddenly appear bringing raging disputes, which can be underhanded and vengeful.  Rahu intensifies all these karmas.  Saturn's aspect makes Mercury's harms more stressful and destructive.

Take care in your daily experiences for about three days. Take no chances, nor risks.

To see how excessive, even crazy, this energy is, watch this video,

Mars Into Cancer!

Today is Mars last in Gemini.  He shifts into Cancer, his fallen (weak) sign tomorrow, June 22.

There are a number of celestial qualities of merit here.

First, six of the nine planets (2/3) in the U.S. chart are bunched together in two consecutive signs -- Gemini and Cancer.  (See chart below.)  The only planets outside these signs are Saturn, Ketu and the Moon.  Thereby, when Mars transits Cancer and Gemini, he launches an intense barrage upon 2/3 of the birth chart planets.

(There are some finer points that boost or decrease this intensified influence. Certainly, for example, if any other planet(s) is transiting Gemini and Cancer, that energy would be additive. However, most basically, if a landscape painting is 2/3 sky blue, and the rest, green trees, yellow flowers, a red barn...., then the painting is 2/3 sky blue.)

Second, Mars is the planet of war, of action.  He's fast, hot, angry, harmful, selfish, impatient and absolutely unforgiving in his attacks.  Mars makes things happen, fast and hard -- by destroying.  He's acute illness, killing fast like a heart attack or a gun shot. Contrast Mars with his opposite -- Saturn.  It is stolid, immovable and chronic illness -- killing slowly.  So, if you wish to anticipate when big events will hit, follow Mars.  His harming multiple planets to bring events isn't foolproof, and other planetary dispositions can do the same.  But a gambler betting on Mars would prosper.

United States
July 4, 1776 @ 6:17 PM Philadelphia

Third, while Mars takes about two months to transit a sign -- or the entire zodiac in two years -- he's only half as fast as the inner planets Venus and Mercury -- but a lot faster than Jupiter's one sign a year, Saturn a sign every 2 /12 years and Rahu/Ketu a sign every 1 1/2 years.  Thus, Mars transits through the six planets in the U.S. chart's Gemini and Cancer pretty frequently for four month rampages.  These repeated transits are in both recent memory and carry longer term effects from one such transit to the next, to the next.  This, then, is a type of confluence -- repetition increasing karma.  For example, the Deepwater Horizon oil spill happened in April 2010, when Mars was in Cancer.  This fundamentally changed off shore oil drilling, and pollution effects in the Gulf of Mexico continue today.  Hurricanes are more prevalent too when Mars transits Gemini and Cancer.  Hurricane Irma his in August 2017 when, again, Mars was in Cancer, and we all remember it well.  But then, Mars is known as the God of storms with good reason.

This spring/summer Mars entered Gemini May 7, and as stated above, leaves Gemini tomorrow, June 22.  And this year transit Rahu and Mercury add to the chaos.  Mars left a path of destructions, most notably as he conjoined with Rahu and Mercury over the U.S. birth chart Sun -- government and wealth.  It was first thought June 4 would be the chaos date, but Mars was not yet within the four degree range for destruction.  Recalibrating, the June 10 The Pincers predicted chaos begins June 11, when Mars begins colliding with Rahu, both planets will be at 23:45 Gemini -- on top of the U.S. Sun at 22:38 Gemini.  In Vedic Astrology, when planets are within 2 degrees, it's a bullseye.

The June 13 The Mars/Rahu Collision detailed major harms from this planetary clash -- economic issues, Trump's crumbling mind and reputation, and major explosive violences.  (The well known Midwest flooding and tornadoes wasn't listed.)  This last included the two oil tankers attacked in the Gulf of Oman.  Taken singly, these events are perhaps explainable as unremarkable.  As a group, however, they are unmistakably severe, and with repetition increasing karma, potentially transformational.  Plus, some of these events, like the oil tanker attacks, are not one-off.  The Iran discords continue and escalate.

Plus, recall as the May 23 The Pincers Are Tightening stated, And remember, with both the big planets -- Jupiter and Saturn retrograde -- they can't mitigate losses and restore balance until at least August 11, when Jupiter turns forward again. It's gonna be a rough summer.

The June 13 The Mars/Rahu Collision closed with this look ahead,

Below is the transit chart (where the planets are in today's skies) for today.  The last item explains Mars transit through Cancer.   Not mentioned is that transit Mercury will also be in Cancer.  There, Mars will continue to afflict Mercury.

Transits June 21, 2019

The U.S. Mercury rules the seventh house of relationships and the social nature and the tenth house of career and government officials.  Beyond transit Mercury harmed by transit Mars, Cancer is the U.S. eighth house of catastrophe, where birth chart Mercury and Rahu are placed.  This means that both birth chart and transit Mercury are attacked by Mars, and also then afflicted by birth chart Rahu. This is a miserable combination bringing fear of the unknown, fear of foreigners, business reversals, problems with/for government officials and catastrophes which include tropical storms.  The top above chart for the U.S. shows Mercury and Rahu in the eighth, as well as transit Mars' lower red arrow pointing at Cancer.

Further, Trump's Cancer is his twelfth house of loss, where his Saturn and Venus are in early degrees. So, Mars will pounce on these planets of open and hidden enemies, disputes, career and courage.  Expect Trump to begin to face huge headwinds in just a couple of days.

As for the other significations listed above from June 13, the Sun is a major player in running the gauntlet through Gemini and then being totally eclipsed there July 2.

Again, use care in all your activities.  Keep your head down and carry out your duties and responsibilities, even as these are sometimes blocked.  (This last is about Saturn, which is afflicted by dissolving Ketu.  Earth crust events can also occur and recur.) And don't spend any money.

Mars In Cancer & Solar Eclipse

The (above) June 21 Mars Into Cancer! offered an overview of Mars transiting through Cancer and presented again a listing of major upcoming planetary events.

First published in the (above) June 13 The Mars/Rahu Collision, this listing is comprehensive, including Mars in Cancer and the solar eclipse, but not definitive.  Let's examine these items to reveal their karmas.

For those of you who are visual, adding Vedic chart graphics will clarify.  Below, then, are charts for the July 2 total solar eclipse, the U.S. and Trump.  If you do have trouble reading the square Vedic chart layout, consider it has the same twelve houses and signs of the round Western chart.  With everything right-side-up in a clockwise direction, it's actually easier to read.  However, even as this visual aid is helpful to your understanding, there is so much going on, it's daunting to follow all the challenging planetary karmas.  I've done my best in the below analysis to be clear, but at best, the effort must fall short of integrating all the karmas.  Still, half a loaf is better than none.:-)

Total Solar Eclipse July 2, 2019 3:30 PM
Washington DC

United States July 4, 1776 6:17 PM
Philadelphia PA

(Notes: 1. Washington DC is used for this eclipse sign chart location since the impacts and discussion are about the United States and Trump's presidency.  2. Recalling the Sun is government leaders, as in kingship, this eclipse is more potent during Trump's reign.   Other recent presidents, had Saturn for governing -- the servant of the people.  3. Solar eclipses are stronger than lunar eclipses, and naturally a total solar eclipse is most potent of all.  4. Eclipse effects begin a week or so before the astronomical event and continue in a gradually decreasing way for at least another week.  5. Actually, if an eclipse hits a chart closely -- within two degrees -- it's a direct hit, and effects can linger for up to six months.  6. Overlaying the eclipse transit chart upon birth charts shows the influences on those charts.  7. For this discussion, the weak partial lunar eclipse is not analyzed. )

Donald Trump June 14, 1946 at 10:54 AM
Queens Village, NY

Overlaying the solar eclipse chart on the U.S. chart, this solar eclipse in Gemini hits the U.S. chart in a significant way because that chart has a concentration of four planets in Gemini -- the seventh house of relationship ad the social nature.  Most critically the eclipse at 16:30 degrees is less than 1 1/2 degrees from the U.S. Jupiter -- which planet symbolizes: the self (identity), bonding, wealth, fixed assets, home, water, emotion/devotion, endings, optimism and wisdom.  All are harmed by the eclipse because eclipses do what the word means -- block.  Look especially for continued shifting of political and business relationships as this incoming Second Progressive Age reforms institutions and groups.

Overlay the eclipse chart on Trump's chart to see this 16:30 degree eclipse is just 3/4 a degree from his Mercury.  Mercury in this chart is the mind, reputation, communications, goals, friends, groups and children.  Again, all are harmed by the eclipse.  Trump's Mercury has been stressed all spring, and now into the heat of the summer, his mind is crumbling in a significant way.  If there's any doubt about this, read Trump delivers nonsensical answer when asked if he should be on Mt. Rushmore.

Notice too the solar eclipse chart shows transit Mercury with transit Mars in Cancer.  They are close together and will continue in tandem because Mercury does its three week retrograde beginning July 8.  Actually, Mercury won't be free of Mars until early September because of this retrograde.  Mercury with selfish but logical Mars, btw, is the combination for liars, lawyers, thieves and politicians.  So expect all kinds of crazy rationalizations and accusations.

Again overlaying the eclipse chart on the U.S. chart, you can see transit warrior Mars has already passed birth chart Mercury in the watery eighth house of calamity and scandal.  (They will be exactly conjunct tomorrow, June 27.)  And Mars is on his way to conjoin U.S. birth chart Rahu in mid July -- violence.  Beyond its general significations of communications and the mind, Mercury is a business and relationship planet in this chart.  Thereby, in addition to hurricanes and other calamities, the US. economy is under tremendous pressure, and eclipsed Jupiter cannot hold onto past relationships/groups.  Again, this is an influence for reformation to bring in Second Progressive Age rebalancing to shared democratic values.

In a final overlay of the eclipse chart on Trump's chart, transit Mars in his twelfth house of loss has already passed his Saturn (enemies, social nature).  Mars is now right on top of Venus -- desires, females and career.  Again, all are harmed.  Plus, with Mercury riding shotgun in Mars' chariot of war, his communications are fractured, even as he tries to convince -- as would any liar, lawyer, politician or thief -- all of which manifest at peak in his persona.

While it's impossible to anticipate how the future will unfold in this cauldron of malefic energies, the world will be a different place by fall.  Certainly disasters and scandals in the U.S., plus Trump's increasingly frenzied mind and demand for control, will result in significant harms Trump's presidency has so far escaped despite his rhetoric and aggressions.  Trump has made allies into enemies and enemies into dear friends, and that approach is simply doomed.

The Celestial Wheel has long predicted Trump is like Rahu -- destroyer of today and creator of tomorrow -- to encourage Second Progressive Age advancements to protect the country from him.  As he has blown up so much, which is his way, he will end up blowing himself up to clear the way for a reformed democracy.  Will that be this summer/fall?  That certainly looks possible.

As you can see from this cool animated gif, this eclipse will only be visible in South America.

Fighting words for a New Gilded Age – Democratic candidates are sounding

a lot like Teddy Roosevelt

"Throughout the two debates, Democrats didn’t just echo Roosevelt in their diagnosis for what’s wrong with the nation, but they also echoed him on the solutions."

Hmmmm...... Looks like the Teddy Roosevelt's First Progressive Age truly is reawakening into the Second Progressive Age.

Using the Google Custom Search engine on the home page, I typed in Second Progressive Age.  There were 210 results.  That is, Second Progressive Age was found in 210 Celestial Wheel entries.  These predictions began in May, 2010.  That sounds both like a lot and very definitive.

Next, they'll be talking about this, from the (above) June 26 Mars In Cancer & Solar Eclipse,

Try Trump blows himself up on this Google Search on the home page.  Not so many, but it is a long search phrase.
