A Tough Road Ahead
The Celestial Wheel has long cautioned the U.S. chart's Dasas and malefic planet transits are, and will be, difficult - A Tough Road Ahead. As a reminder, Dasas are the planetary cycles symbolizing the chart's underlying karma and transits are secondary karma.
As difficult as this is for the nation, A Tough Road Ahead is ultimately a positive in indicating a bright future coming. The Free Dictionary explains, The road ahead may be uncertain, but we'll be all right if we work together.
This, btw, is applicable to the U.S. history, replete with tumultuous times reversed sooner or later by achievement and thereby maturation of society -- in this case, the Second Progressive Age.
Looking long term, below are the U.S. chart's Dasas through the entire 18 year Rahu Dasa. You can readily see the victimizing Rahu-Saturn cycle is a long 3 years, ending in November of this year. Saturn destroys that which is no longer necessary to make room for the new. This is much like Rahu, described above, Rahu is the destroyer of today and thereby the creator of tomorrow. This is why the Indians say Rahu is like Saturn. That helps explain why this Dasa lineup is so challenging.
{But, there's also a positive in Saturn's influence, Since it is Saturn's essential purpose to temper the soul, it attacks our weak points to broaden and define the scope of our character, driving us to maturity. This is how Saturn's profound quality helps advance us to the Second Progressive Age.}
Following the Saturn subperiod is Mercury, which is difficult in this chart for being in the 8th house of hidden things, turmoil and catastrophes. Mercury ends June 2026. Rahu-Ketu is next, and this too is difficult -- but perhaps the most transformational, because Rahu is the future and Ketu the past. Thus, the future and the past come together, a mixing of karmas that can stir the country into better understanding of its nature, and thereby the nature of society. Next comes Venus, which can bring her humanitarian and cooperative nature forward. As shown, Venus doesn't begin until June, 2027. So, the next 5 years will be tough. However, as much societal progress can be achieved by 2027, it won't be until Rahu-Mars ends in November 2033 that Rahu finishes transforming a society that full embraces shared democratic values.
Now to transits, which are secondary to Dasas. Below is the U.S. chart with arrows showing the current transits of the malefic planets Saturn and Mars.
Although slow Saturn entered Aquarius January 17, it is also now very close to the Moon at 5:40°. Due to an upcoming retrograde, Saturn will cross the Moon 3 times by year's end. Yikes! This transit match up with the Rahu-Saturn Dasa brings a strong and notable destructive karma which cannot be avoided, nor denied. Because the Moon rules the terrible 8th house, transit Saturn brings intense lunar emotions and worldly destructions in many areas -- from politics to weather... Saturn, the planet of loss and separation, naturally nails this sensitive Moon, stimulating further America's 8th house of the occult mystical paranoia. (Note, Saturn remains in Aquarius until March 2025 and thus continues to harm the Moon.)

Transit Mars is also shown with his arrow pointing into Gemini. His destructive energy on 4 planets in this 7th house of relationship breaks up relationships and associations, both current and longstanding. (As the god of storms, Mars also disrupts the environment -- a second karma to Saturn on the Moon.) Mars enters Gemini March 13 and leaves that sign May 10. He then transits Cancer, the 8th house of turmoil where two planets are placed. This Cancer transit is May 11 to July 1. This transit is even more destructive and further energizes mystical paranoia.
This Mars transit is also included here because he's the planet of action. Yes, Rahu-Saturn Dasa is rough, and Saturn's transit over the Moon is similarly destructive. But it is Mars that will break lose these difficult karmas through June of this year. Expect all kinds of issues, some legal, others violent, some weather related.... And expect the culture wars will continue to escalate and reach a peak by the end of June
As for Trump, previous Celestial Wheels have explained that this Mars transit in Taurus ending March 12 is tremendously destructive -- roadkill. But so will be Mars transits through Gemini and Cancer. As Trump's role is to destroy the existing political system, and then blow himself up, he paves the way into a new society -- the Second Progressive Age.
As for President Biden, the January 13 Joe Biden's Denouement, explains that having ended his great 16 year Jupiter Dasa and now in Saturn since New Years, he inevitably must slide down.
It is considering these challenging Dasas and transits that the February 4 Onward Christian Soldiers stated, ...we have a mixed race Vice President in Kamala Harris -- Indian and Jamaican ancestry. And Republican Nikki Haley, born to Indian parents, is poised to enter the presidential race. That is a solid entry into the Second Progressive Age -- which will drive the racists crazy.
In the meantime, here are some chants to help calm and uplift. Just because the world is in turmoil doesn't mean our consciousness must also be violated. Further, it's time to do our part in rescuing society, and to do that, we have to be grounded, clear and pure of heart.

First They Came...
Everyone recalls this confessional prose by German minister Friedrich Niemillor about the fascism.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out —
Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out —
Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out —
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me — and there was no one left to speak for me. |
This prose speaks directly and personally to the racism, nationalism and violent authoritarian of Nazi Germany. If you don't remember it, your Jewish friends certainly do, for the Holocaust was fundamental to that horrific political system.
Like a candle you can't blow out, with its roots in America's slavery, fascism has raised its ugly head in American yet again. Well, there are a lot Americans of German descent, and being from a German family, I can tell you these folks never gave up Germany's feudal ways. Venice, where I live, is in Sarasota county, a hotbed for these folks, Bigwig Right-Wing Activists and Influencers Have Discovered Sarasota.
They've gone after the Sarasota public school system, a college, the hospital. All are being sanitized -- in their demand to return America to the 1950s days Father Knows Best.
While Sarasota is redoubt for these extremists, Florida's governor is also attacking society -- woke beliefs, even putting Orlando Disney in chains. The state seized control of its infrastructure so that it can pressure content changes. Of course, other red states are also in full revolt against democracy, clambering to keep white men in charge -- of everything. But the culture war here is pervasive. Banning: books, African American studies, gender discussion and slavery are just highlights. Essentially, DEI -- diversity, equity and inclusion -- is being wiped out.
The Celestial Wheel has long stated the movement as rooted in fear, hate and racism. This is 8th house stuff in the U.S. chart -- hidden horrors, debased society. racism, violence and sex and of course, fear of foreigners doused with mystical paranoia. The last entry, the March 7 A Tough Road Ahead , addressed this issue, The Celestial Wheel has long cautioned the U.S. chart's Dasas and malefic planet transits are, and will be, difficult - A Tough Road Ahead.. Basically, the torturous 18 year Rahu Dasa (planetary cycle) combined with slow transit Saturn crossing the Moon result in this Tough Road Ahead until 2027. With serpent Rahu in the 8th house and the Moon ruling the 8th, that house is the dominant, even domineering, energy in society. That the world is still reeling from transformational COVID climate change wrecking havoc and a major war in Europe makes Rahu Dasa in the U.S. Vedic chart even more challenging.
Yet, this about Saturn is fundamental -- Since it is Saturn's essential purpose to temper the soul, it attacks our weak points to broaden and define the scope of our character, driving us to maturity. So this fascist effort to sanitize and purify will be overcome by elevated and enlightened Second Progressive Age shared democratic values.
The message here is to heed Friedrich Niemillor's prose and speak out. Sarasota is doing that with citizens rallying against the attacks on the public school system, New College, Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
Related to this is the news Trump has announced that he'll be indicted in New York on Tuesday. Here's the prediction for that, which was first made in the September 23 Trump Through The Fall -- long before anyone had a clue as to when the long arm of the law would grab him. Well, slap me down for being over a week early!

As Trump falls, he brings down the existing political system, which is certainly the Republicans but also those parts of the Democratic party also run by old white men. (Interestingly, Trump's problems result from having transit Jupiter and Mercury currently in his 8th house -- like the U.S. chart. Transit Mercury is fallen in this sign, making him weak, and thereby stimulating a nervous sensitivity and mental blocks.)
Finally, in the March 7 A Tough Road Ahead was a discussion about transit Mars.

So don't think Trump's impending arrest is a one off. It's the first huge step in a Tough Road Ahead.
