More Mars!

The last VedicLeaks entry was Heads-up -- Mars Is Changing Signs Today, alerting to instability during this sign change and also reminding, The Totality Of Transit Mars Is The Definitive Karma now.

Here again is Mars Z-shaped path graphic, first published in the January 15 VedicLeaks.  I've added a blue line to show how far Mars has traveled during this 7 1/2 month rampage.  You can see, Mars is into the second half of this journey.   But there remains over 3 months until Mars is done in Virgo.

You can also see Mars' retrograde -- moving to the right in the graphic -- and this will continue for over another month, until May 20.  Then, Mars will abruptly turn forward and race toward his July 14 arrival in Libra.  When a planet ends retrograde, it speeds up to regain lost distance.

Astrologically, there are several key values, or measurements.

Planetary influence builds over the duration of any disposition.  So, Mars' karma steadily grows until July 14.

Retrograde motion weakens Mars ability to harm to some degree, but this is not enough to counterbalance duration-increasing karma.  In fact, this combination of steadily increasing strength with retrograde weakness makes Mars behave convulsively.  As one of Mars' significations if sports, consider what convulsive energy does to a golf swing?  There will be a lot of spring golfers yelling FORE!  (a nautical term meaning "ahead")

When Mars turns forward May 20, his energy level will be jolted at the turn and then boosted until he leaves Virgo July 14.

Also when Mars turns forward, he will retrace the path he first took when moving forward and later during retrograde.  This suggests that areas he previously affected will be hit again, but even harder. Examples may be violences in the Mideast the Chris Christie scandal.

Mars in Virgo is now opposite the Sun and Mercury, the latter in its fallen (weak) sign.  This means Mars aspects these planets.  Because Mars also throws an aspect eight houses away, he will continue to aspect the Sun and Mercury until mid May.  This is harmful to health, business and communications and machinery.  I've noted the past several days a deluge of spam -- always a useful omen for alerting to Mercury being harmed.

This transit chart for today shows Mars' aspects to the Sun and Mercury in Pisces.  I've included its additional aspect to Aries so that reader can better understand that the Sun and Mercury are headed there.  As with all World Transit Chart used in The Celestial Wheel, this one applies the natural zodiac beginning with Aries.  This describes transit energies globally.  Note that Pisces is the twelfth house of loss and Aries the first house of the body.

The Spring Eclipse Season Is Here

Beyond these factors relating solely to Mars, we're entering the semiannual eclipse season -- which will further aggravate Mars' energy.  Eclipses bring general instability as the life giving light of the Sun and Moon are blocked.  There will be a total eclipse of the Moon April 15 at at 1 degree and 13 minutes Libra.  On April 29, there will be an annular solar eclipse at 14 degrees and 48 minutes Aries.   Annular normally means the Sun's edge is visible making the event close to a total eclipse.  This annular eclipse is weaker because the deepest part of the Moon's shadow does not blot out the Sun.  Still it should not be dismissed.

As eclipse effects begin before and after the astronomical events, we're already in this spring's eclipse season, which will continue into early May.  Note that this eclipse season coincides with Mars aspecting Mercury and the Sun.  This doubling of destructive karmas stimulates events and increases their severity.

The lunar eclipse may not signal much beyond loony behavior, but because this is a Rahu (head-of-the-dragon eclipse point) event, emotional/perceptional reactions can be extreme.  False imaginings is a good descriptor here.  The solar eclipse is more consequential, as solar eclipses always are.

Eclipses are most often used in mundane (world astrology).  Because the Sun is kinship, can harm governments -- though mostly kings and dictators rather than elected leaders.  The latter are symbolized by Saturn, the planet of the common man.

Sensitive Areas

The Celestial Wheel previously identified several sensitive areas disrupted by Mars.  These were last discussed, with a predictions check, in the March 5 Vedicleaks

Government
Earth Crust Events
Violences And Storms
Economic losses

Disease
Aeronautics

The March 5 Vedicleaks found strong predictive results for Government, Earth Crust Events and Violences and Storms.  The Malaysia passenger jet loss happened a few days later, and the karma for that has eased off.

These areas have continued to bring major events -- notably earth crust events and storms.  Economic Losses and Disease had not yet manifested.  But they are now.  I'll do another predictions check when appropriate.

Expect all five areas to experience Mars harms until mid July.  And, as previously predicted, the U.S. has tough storm karma through the end of May.

Do keep in mind, however, that because the Jupiter and Venus, the best benefics, are strong and good in forward motion, and Saturn and Mars, the worst malefics, are weak in retrograde motion, that harms can be resolved favorably.  Notice, for example, the minor damages and loss of life in recent earthquakes, especially the 8.2 in Chili.

The Terrifying Blood Moon!

Does this signal the End Times?  Is it God's retribution for gay marriage, abortion, contraception, equal pay for women, voter fraud, Obama (the dark one) and too high taxes on the rich? And don't forget the crimes against God in denying creationism, the war on Christians, etc.! Pastor John Hagee says this is so, and we must all cower in fear of the lord! Popular televangelist claims four blood moons are sign of ‘world-shaking event’

NASA's Spaceweather.com offers the scientific view,

"LUNAR ECLIPSE, TUESDAY MORNING: The mainstream media is abuzz with reports of a "blood moon" on Tuesday morning. The scientific term is "lunar eclipse." On April 15th at 6 minutes past midnight Pacific Time (3:06 a.m Eastern Time), the Moon will enter the sunset-colored colored shadow of Earth, producing a total eclipse of the Moon:

The color of Earth's shadow, and thus the color of the eclipsed Moon, depends substantially on the amount of volcanic ash and other aerosols floating in the stratosphere. According to atmospheric sciences professor Richard Keen of the University of Colorado, the stratosphere is clear. This means the eclipse will be not "blood red," but rather bright orange.

See for yourself. The event will be visible from Australia, New Zealand, and all of the Americas: visibility map. It's so bright, even observers in light-polluted cities will have no trouble enjoying the show. Got clouds? No problem. The event will be broadcast live on the web by the Coca-Cola Science Center at Columbus State University in Georgia."

As far as I'm concerned, living in gulf side community, it would be a great time for sex on the beach

Solar Eclipse Coming April 29

The (above) April 9 Vedicleaks explained the spring eclipse season,

The Spring Eclipse Season Is Here
Beyond these factors relating solely to Mars, we're entering the semiannual eclipse season -- which will further aggravate Mars' energy.  Eclipses bring general instability as the life-giving light of the Sun and Moon are blocked.

Because the Sun is kinship, they can harm governments -- though mostly kings and dictators rather than elected leaders.  The latter are symbolized by Saturn, the planet of the common man.

The lunar eclipse's loony behavior was more serious this year -- because it was stimulated by violent Mars.  Eclipse effects begin about week before the astronomical event.  On April 9, Two-knife stabbing rampage at Pennsylvania high school injures 22.  Just a day after the eclipse, South Korea ferry: Hundreds missing as ship sinks.  The accident resulted from human error, S. Korea ferry captain, 2 others arrested.

We should thereby be concerned with the upcoming solar eclipse -- taking it seriously to safeguard our interests.  Here's the chart for the eclipse.  The lines show aspects (glances) from malefics Mars and Saturn to the eclipsed Sun.  The Mars aspect is very strong, being just 3 degrees from the Sun.  Also hit by these aspects are Ketu (the tail-of-the-dragon eclipse point), the vulnerable Moon (no light on the Moon to give it strength) and Mercury.

Because these eclipses further enable Mars' harms, the areas previously predicted to be sensitive this winter/spring are again emphasized,

Government
Earth Crust Events
Violences And Storms
Economic losses
Disease
Aeronautics

Note that all of these have seen already heavy action in the U.S. and abroad. There's more coming.

Solar Eclipse Day

29 Dead in 6 States as Tornadoes Slam Southern US

The scope is staggering. Some 75 million Americans are under threat of severe weather on Tuesday.

People from the Great Lakes to the Gulf Coast, and from the Midwest to the East Coast, are advised to keep their eyes to the sky and their ears to the radio. That’s a third of the country.

The greatest risk will again be in the Deep South, with Mississippi and Alabama in the bull’s eye for the worst of the storms.

The first two days of this powerful spring storm system, which is expected to rage into Wednesday, claimed 29 lives in six states.

Accuweather Satelitte

Not just tornadoes -- major thunder/lightening storms too.
