Heavy Fireworks
Following Mars, the planet of action, now in Cancer, the June 22 Mercury is Forward! stated,

Well, that didn't specifically happen, but it's on the near horizon for many, and the real estate market for all,
On the other hand, there certainly has been a slew of destructions and violences, natural and man made. The Surfside Condominium collapse June 24 encouraged recording consequential events. As these events are listed chronologically, it isn't readily apparent most are in the U.S. The reason for this is that the Mars/Saturn opposition are transiting planets -- where the planets are in today's skies. As the earth turns, transits thereby impact globally. Individual charts, like for the U.S. can be more grievously affected if they have birthchart planets below these transits. Think of bombs being dropped from planes upon cities. The U.S. chart birthchart planets, and thereby houses too, are exposed and hammered by the Saturn Mars transit bombs. This was first addressed in the March 17 More Dirty Tangoing,
So, transit Saturn drops its bombs of misery and loss on U.S. birthchart Ketu, and aspects Cancer. Cancer is the eighth house in the U.S. chart, where birthchart Rahu is placed -- more bomb dropping. In turn, btw, birthchart Ketu dissolves transit Saturn, and birthchart Rahu inflames transit Saturn's aspect (glance) to Cancer. It's a whole mess of nasty karma. At that time (March), Mars was in Gemini, but from June 1 to July 20, he's in Cancer, opposite Saturn. Charts for that combination have been previously published, showing Mars exactly opposite Saturn July 1. The June 22 Mercury Is Forward explained, The exact opposition, when energies will be maximized, will be July 1. Then the busy Fourth Of July Holiday begins, which will only exacerbate harms from hurricanes and other destructions. Sometimes holiday pic picnics are better in the backyard than in locations away from home. This explains, then, why this past holiday weekend has been so difficult. Not mentioned, however is why so many airplanes crashed. Well Venus is vehicles, and you can see she's also in Cancer -- receiving destructive energies from transit Mars and Saturn with a global reach. This may all sound complicated, which it is because the planetary configurations are complex. And remember, Mars won't exit Cancer until July 20. So expect more fireworks of many kinds. |

Nearing The End
We're nearing the end of Mars' three month plus reign of terror sweep through Gemini and Cancer. That began April 13 and ends July 20 -- just two more days! These signs are difficult for both the U.S. chart and Trump's because their being malefic houses and numerous sitting duck planets. (Remember, transits are planets in current skies, and they bomb (drop) their energies onto house/signs and planets in individual charts.) Further, Mars in Cancer aspects Saturn across the zodiac in Capricorn, and in turn, Saturn aspects Cancer. This creates tremendous stresses and destructions -- which we've seen this spring/summer and continue still. U.S. Chart
As regards to Trump, he maintains control of the Republican Party, and thus continues to threaten the nation. Gemini is his eleventh house of friends and Cancer his twelfth house of loss, where his career planet (Venus) is placed with a nasty Saturn. These are debilitating for him, especially since his Sun and Moon were also hit hard by the June 10 total solar eclipse -- effectively defanging him. There's nothing truly unusual in the above predictions, and truly they have largely been realized. (Mars in Cancer in the eighth house is a sure-fire hurricane indicator....) What is clearly understated, however, is the U.S. mystical paranoia, which inflamed by Trump's lies, has pressured so many into outrageous beliefs: the election was stolen, Trump will be reinstated, January 6 was not an insurrection and currently that virus precautions, especially vaccinations, are bad. These are so insane, especially the last, that one must wonder if democracy isn't truly at risk? It seems, the weight of truth is gradually wearing down the Republican antagonists. Some are breaking ranks. New books and news reports are laying bare the realities. Trump's allies are softening. Evangelicals are falling away... Singularly important is that the unvaccinated are dying in greater numbers throughout the country now, while the vaccinated all remain healthy. And that reality is not just in the U.S. It's global. When Mars shifts into Leo July 20, the anger and violences -- natural and man made -- resulting from Mars and Saturn banging away at each other will be like the calm after vicious bar fight. Everyone can then stand up, look around, take stock of their lives and begin wondering what the heck set off that crazy behavior? How in the world could we all have believed these conspiracies bereft of any facts? Well, sometimes it's darkest before the dawn. Hang in there. |

The Bomb
The Celestial Wheel has recently mainly focused upon Mars, the planet of action. As stated in the (above) July 18 Nearing The End We're nearing the end of Mars' three month plus reign of terror sweep through Gemini and Cancer. That began April 13 and ends July 20 -- just two more days! These signs are difficult for both the U.S. chart and Trump's because their being malefic houses and numerous sitting duck planets. If you doubt, or have forgotten the tremendous turbulences and destructions during this interval, just take a look at (above) July 6 Heavy Fireworks, which listed major events for a peak destructive interval late June through the Fourth Of July holiday. That was when Mars was approaching direct opposition to malefic on Saturn July 1.
Below is the transit chart for today. Notice that Mars is now well into Leo, which isn't too difficult for the U.S. chart but does rile Trump up. So while heat waves, drought, storm fronts and other major physical disasters brought by the God Of Storms Mars continue to plague America, these are subdued from earlier peaks.

What ha been ignored for a while due to Mars' distractions was transit Mercury. Symbolizing the nervous system, it's naturally a major Covid driver. Mercury was discussed in detail earlier for his tumultuous ride through Taurus -- retrograde and with toxic Rahu. The Taurus transit was a long one due to retrograde -- from May 1 to July 6. Then traversing into Gemini, Mercury was in the clear, though he did have to jump through four planets in the U.S. chart. Mercury's Gemini transit was short -- from July 6 to July 24 -- because following a retrograde planets temporarily speed up to regain lost ground. So, on July 24 Mercury surged into Cancer. And the above chart for today shows he's 9:32 Cancer now. He'll leave that sign August 8. Mark your calendar for this July 24 to August 8 Mercury transit through treacherous Cancer. This Mercury transit through deep, dark, watery and dangerous Cancer is The Bomb. No, not The bomb, a nineties term meaning really cool, awesome, phenomenal, the best.... Remember? Then they even called Einstein The Bomb. Mercury has already signaled a virus Bomb starting July 24. -- infections skyrocketing through the country, and much of the globe too, since last weekend -- exactly when Mercury transited into Cancer. While virus cases (Delta Variant) have suddenly and dramatically increased across the country, we can really see the impact here on the West Coast of Florida, where vaccination rates are high because the population is elderly and affluent. July 26, Sarasota Memorial Hospital reducing visitor hours due to uptick in COVID-19 cases. The local paper states that Sarasota Memorial had 92 Covid patients this past Tuesday, 36 COVID-19 patients on July 19 and just four on June 19. Although most patients were not vaccinated, some were. There is every indication the Delta Variant is blowing past the vaccination protection, although it's also true those vaccinated people have few and minor symptoms. At this is Rahu Dasa (planetary cycle) in the U.S. chart, it's critical to understand this serpent's harms can not be expected nor controlled. (This is usually put in the negative of unexpected and uncontrollable.) The first, of course means cannot be predicted. Rahu is the unexpected. Given all this, as Mercury approaches and crosses birth chart Rahu in the U.S. chart at 16:51 Cancer August 1, the virus infection karma will increase. Following that, expect the virus may slow down a little -- until Mercury leaves Cancer August 8. As for hurricanes and other disasters, August and the fall appear to be quiet -- so far. of course, Rahu is the unexpected. |
