The last Celestial Wheel entry was the February 26 The Big Lie. There were two concerns, one established and the other new. First, the combination of Mercury's respiratory system and the Mars (infections) conjoining Rahu (toxic) combine to stimulate global virus infections February 21 to March 11. This global dirty tango karma suggests the virus mutates and circulates all over the world voraciously until March 11. After a huge drop in the U.S., there was a leveling off at the beginning of March, then a small uptick. But, keep in mind since these are strictly transits, they reflect global karmas. Reuters reports today that the globe follows this pattern but also that COVID-19 infections are still rising in 60 countries. And too, the February 26 The Big Lieexplained that reporting results may be delayed. In any event, as the transit chart below for today shows, Mercury will finally escape Saturn in Capricorn tomorrow, taking the respiratory illness karma off the table -- for now. However, Mercury will enter its fallen (weakest) sign of Pisces March 31 -- where restrictive Saturn will aspect it. Still, it's great Mercury (intellect) is finally away from suffocating Saturn. Our minds will regain clarity, and Mercury's nervous system can begin to relax. More potently, militant Mars continues to march along in Taurus toward Rahu, and he'll be within striking distance (about 5 degrees) by March 18, moving toward an exact conjunction March 26. Beyond the virus issue, Mars with Rahu brings all sorts of destructions. We've seen news reporting of explosions, violent crimes and vehicle accidents increase. Interestingly, Taurus is ruled by Venus (vehicles) and Rahu is flying machines. So the Space X rocket landed and March 3 and several minutes later blew up. Expect other vehicle accidents on land, in the air and on the sea.

The new topic is in the U.S. chart, where transit Saturn is nearly on top of dissolving Ketu and badly is aspecting the eighth house where birth chart Rahu and Mercury sit. That, together with the Mars/Rahu conjunction is another dirty tango. Yes, there's some virus infection karma there and also scandals as Saturn pushes Rahu to dig even deeper into the dark. miasma of the deep eighth house -- the unconscious where nightmares of the mind are otherwise hidden. While this combination will be discussed in upcoming Celestial Wheel entries -- it's critical to remind that Saturn will go backward over Ketu this summer and then cross Ketu one last time at the end of this year. And Saturn's influence upon Rahu drive's this dragon head to attack with claws and fire. This is obviously disconcerting, especially as we deal with the virus and defanged Trump's destructions. With everything going on, the passage of the 1.9 trillion stimulus bill seems to be but a minor event. CNN disagrees in today's article Biden's Covid relief bill is huge, ambitious and about to pass. President Joe Biden plans to use the $1.9 trillion Covid-19 relief bill expected to pass Congress on Wednesday as a platform for a generational transformation of the economy to benefit the least well-off Americans and alleviate poverty. This is the Second Progressive Age advancing in a giant bound. It seems that Saturn's tribulations now with Rahu and Ketu, and through the end of this year, must break free further opportunities to advance democracy, to restore shared democratic values. Yes, it will be difficult, especially for those who resist change and others who are exposed to the economic dislocations the virus has brought -- and will continue to visit upon society. In that regard, let's visit the February 8, 2020 Now Comes Mars. Note 2020 -- last year.
The February 16, 2020 Mars And The Corona Virus then stated, As for the Coronavirus, yes, Mars is infections, and he throws an aspect to Rahu, which is toxic -- like a poisonous serpent. And Ketu is weirdness, befitting his otherworldly nature. So, the Mars' upcoming conjunction with Ketu February 25 certainly indicates the Coronavirus will spike -- or more likely, infections will continue to build toward pandemic level. That turned out to be true, with especially accurate timing. 9-11 turned the world on its head, and twenty years later civilizations continue to deal with its aftermath -- hopefully advancing. Now this same transit chart portended another monumental disruption, this time the virus. It's impact must similarly be generational, another signal the Second Progressive Age is upon us. |

More Dirty Tangoing
The (above) March 10 Continuum discussed the evolving and dual dirty tangos of the Mars/Rahu conjunction in Taurus -- plus that transit Saturn is nearly on top of (U. S. chart) dissolving Ketu and badly is aspecting the eighth house where birth chart Rahu and Mercury sit.
The Mars/Rahu conjunction brings all kinds of violences -- natural, man made and discords -- as well as increased virus infections, and seemingly even more virulent strains. The Saturn/Ketu and Saturn/Rahu transit is itself a duality -- dirty tango. First, it involves dissolving Ketu disintegrating Saturn's form and structure, which we can see in the Republican losing their iron-fisted hold over American politics, power and wealth. The 1.9 trillion Democratic stimulus bill, directed at the poor and middle class, is diametrically opposite Republican style tax cuts and benefits for the rich using social issues, primarily racism. The dictatorial filibuster is now under serious threat. And remember, Trump was defanged in the December 14, 2020 Scorpio total solar eclipse. The November 28, 2020 Eclipse Season explained, Keeping in mind that solar eclipse effects begin soon and continue for the next six months, it looks like this eclipse will finish defanging Trump. Second, Saturn's aspect (glance) to Cancer, where the U.S. Rahu is directly targeted now, drive's this dragon head to attack with claws and fire that chart's dangerous eighth house. So, this current dose of Saturn/Ketu disintegration in the U.S. is just the first of three within the next year. The last entry to discuss this was the February 26 The Big Lie, which similarly displayed the above two charts. Then, Mars was at 2:45 degrees, and you can see in the above chart he's well advanced now to Rahu at 13:48 degrees. As concerns Saturn, on February 26 it was at 14:04 degrees, and you can see in the above transit chart, it's only moved about two degrees since. Nearly on top of the U.S. Ketu and U.S. Rahu at 16:51 degrees, Saturn is both being disintegrated by Ketu) and oppressing Rahu at a raging peak. The next week and a half, then, until Mars hits Rahu March 26, promise to be tumultuous, even perhaps chaotic. It's not a good time to venture out for local activities or traveling out of town. Keep your head down, wear a mask and help others as you can.

That Was The Week That Was
Recent Celestial Wheel entries discussed the evolving dual dirty tangos of the Mars/Rahu conjunction in Taurus -- plus that transit Saturn is nearly on top of (U. S. chart) dissolving Ketu and badly is aspecting the eighth house where birth chart Rahu and Mercury sit.
The (above) March 17 More Dirty Tangoing identified the peak period for the Mars/Rahu conjunction as March 18 (when Mars was within striking distance of Rahu) and the March 26 exact conjunction. That entry repeated the prediction for all kinds of violences -- natural, man made and discords -- as well as increased virus infections, and seemingly even more virulent strains. Well, that Thursday through the next Friday was certainly That was the week that was. Beyond the mass murders, vicious storms, border turmoil, Suez Canal blockage, unending scandals... the virus is spreading faster again -- CDC director gives emotional warning of "impending doom" around Covid-19 Even as planetary energies build to indicate events before actual conjunctions, this joining of Mars and Rahu has been so potent that harms have continued beyond Friday's exact conjunction. And remember, Mars/Rahu is strictly a transit and thereby a global influence. For example, the Suez Canal ship wasn't freed until late this morning. For the U.S. the additional karma of transit Saturn being afflicted by Ketu and transit Saturn afflicting Rahu has really cranked up the malicious energies. There was U.S. rioting and active shooters over the weekend in the U.S., for example. Even as we all hope that the Mars/Rahu conjunction having peaked signals better and calmer times in sync with spring beginning, the path ahead remains rough. Let's update the transiting planets', particularly Mars, (the planet of action) upcoming movements. (This is a cataloguing of important planetary movements, which listing will be used to predict and interpret events and trends this spring/summer. It's complex for the many dispositions, but don't let that throw you off. For now, just read the interpretations and know the next few months will be busy, busy busy!) Below is a transit chart for today. Notice that Mars is 2/3 through Taurus. He'll reach Gemini April 13. See that Mercury, the intellect, is nearly finished with Aquarius. It will enter Pisces, its fallen and thereby weakest sign, in just two days, March 31. Although this is a short transit until Mercury leaves Pisces April 16, these next few weeks will be Mercury-weak nerve-wracking and confusing. Further, as Mercury is the respiratory system, and deathly Saturn aspects Pisces, there's a potent karma for the virus to really surge.
Transits March 29, 2020 But there is some great news in Jupiter, the planet of luck, fortune and wisdom, which rules the U.S chart, will finally get out of his fallen sign of Capricorn, where he's also been afflicted by Saturn on April 5. That will be a tremendous breath of fresh air in the dank and dark environment we've been experiencing. A bonus here is that restrictive Saturn will turn weekly retrograde May 22. (note the blue arrow showing Saturn's aspect to Cancer where the U.S. chart's Mercury and Rahu sit. This retrograde wlll reduce Saturn's harms to the U.S.) It will also better enable Jupiter's growth and good fortune to express themselves -- like a quarterback running free of opposing team players. And side by side are the U.S. chart and Trump's chart, U.S. Chart The Mars transit through airy Gemini promises all kinds of discords and some tough weather -- tornadoes? Mars in watery Cancer portends more scandals and early hurricanes. Well, when the planet of war passes through these two signs, containing six planets, lots of karma hits the wall. However, recall that Jupiter, the great benefic escapes Capricorn April 6, enabling him to shine and steer the U.S. forward to resolve pressing issues, including perhaps even the filibuster, to clear the way for huge advances in the Second Progressive Age -- to restore shared democratic values. Also,that restrictive Saturn will turn weekly retrograde May 22 will take the wind out of the Republican's autocratic sails. Thereby, out of spring/summer chaos can come real and meaningful progress.
Trump chart
Not mentioned so far is the June 10 annular solar eclipse at 25:40 Taurus -- just two degrees from Trump's Rahu, four degrees from his Sun -- and three degrees opposite his Moon. This must be a heavy hit for him, bringing the same sort of defanging energy that brought Trump down in the December 14, 2020 eclipse. (See the November 28 Eclipse Season.) This is the single most important celestial event by far in this spring/summer event listing. So mark it on your calendar. It would very well be that as eclipses both block and reveal, since Trump will simply not stop, only external (legal) challenges can stop him. In other words, because Trump will never stop on his own, he must be stopped.
