Off The Rails?
There are two major astrological events coming up this month. They are actually already in early progress. Together, these signal the train is going off the rails -- for at least Trump and likely too the nation.
The first, of course, is the December 14 total solar eclipse in late Scorpio. The November 28 Eclipse Season analyzed this potent transit -- which is what eclipses are. That entry detailed the duration, ...eclipse effects begin about 10 days before the actual event and gradually decline for the next week or so -- but that eclipse effects can linger for up to six months. It also explained the orb ...Whether a chart is hit by the eclipse depends upon a planet being within two degrees of the eclipse point, or directly opposite in the zodiac. Finally, that entry revealed the eclipse hammers Trump, ...the eclipse hits his 28:05 Scorpio Moon within a degree and also the opposite Sun at 29:49 Taurus, again within a degree. Eclipse effects here batter Trump's lunar home and his leadership Sun. Physical harms can also result. Here again is the eclipse chart.
Not discussed then is Saturn's aspect (glance) to Mars in Pisces, which is Trump's eighth house of calamity. Saturn is the planet of death and Mars destructions that include infections. So Trump has multiple planetary karmas hitting him hard, what astrologers often term confluence -- the process of merging, most commonly used to describe the junction of two rivers. Well, when two rivers join, the resulting current becomes much stronger, doesn't it? Also not discussed is that Scorpio is always a difficult sign for being the eighth sign (hidden depts) in the natural zodiac beginning with Aries. And Scorpio in the U.S. chart is the twelfth house of final liberation -- loss and death. Note the stellium of five planets in Scorpio on the eclipse because Venus and Mercury join the eclipse forming Sun, Moon and Ketu. So there's confluence in the U.S. chart as well. Today's entry, Off The Rails? is thusly titled because eclipse effects have already begun. Yes, they'll peak December 14 but continue forcefully for at least another week and then linger for six months.
The Jupiter/Saturn conjunction in Capricorn, exact December 21, is the second major celestial event. This was first discussed in the October 25 Pins And Needles. The orb here is again two degrees, and the above eclipse chart shows a one degree separation between Jupter and Saturn at the eclipse. Currently, the separation is one and a half degrees. So as with the solar eclipse the effects have already begun. For Trump, Capricorn is his sixth house of enemies and discords. The six is also acute illness. Further, the conjunction aspects Trump's twelfth house of loss, where his career planet Venus is placed, as well as his restrictive Saturn. So there's more confluence for Trump. That the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction aspects Cancer, which is the U.S. chart's eighth house of calamity, gives further confluence. There is so much merging of tough karmas for Trump and the U.S. that the planetary map of karma looks like the watershed for the Mississippi River! Here's a map of that dramatically showing nearly half the nation is in this energy focusing watershed into the Mighty Mississippi.
The Celestial Wheel has described some major results of this cosmic deluge but certainly not all. It seems the analogy to the Mississippi in extreme flood from its watershed is both more apt and descriptive. We can see, of course, the confluence energies of the solar eclipse and Jupiter/Saturn conjunction already aggravating and magnifying challenges for Trump and the U.S. Also, as these are both transits, they impact globally and thus spell doom around the world. If I were a better astrologer, I would offer more detailed predictions. However, these two major celestial events in such close proximity, occurring during an already tumultuous time is a daunting, even overwhelming, task for any astrologer, seer, psychic or any other prognosticator.. For now the suggestion to lie low, take no risks and help others in need my best advice. Just keep in mind that when the flood recedes, the land will be well watered to support a green spring to nourish us all. PS. There is one specific result I've been reluctant to comment upon. I would be remiss, however, not to mention this. We've seen Trump's efforts to undue the election results have all failed. His final effort is shifting to the desperate attempt of martial law to hold new elections. We've also seen war drums against Iran and even Venezuela. That Trump has fired seasoned hands at the Pentagon, replacing them with his own flunkies, suggests Trump plans on using the military for a coup to reelect him, along with a distracting attack on another nation. There has to be a reason Trump has executed these personal changes, which will only last less than two months. |

The Election Is Over But Discords Aren't

The Supreme Court declined to take the case overturning the voting results a week ago today -- just four days before the solar eclipse. Exactly on the solar eclipse day, the electors cast their votes, choosing Biden. It would be nice if defang were made the 2020 word of the year. The above quote included a more disturbing prediction, Still, the raging and fearful bull can alternatively run away or grievously attack. This was echoed in the PS to the (above) December 6 Off The Rails? His final effort is shifting to the desperate attempt of martial law to hold new elections. We've also seen war drums against Iran and even Venezuela. However, Trump is more mean than brave. We can only hope he'll retreat to Mara Largo slowly fade away. Still, as Biden's inauguration looms, Trump must become more desperate. There are also the virus and the economy to be concerned about. The November 28 Eclipse Season also stated,
That forecast finally stated about the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction, While their exact conjunction December 21 signals the beginning of a new twenty year era, that beginning promises to be rough, perhaps most especially economically. This results because Capricorn is the U.S. chart's second house of income and domestic harmony (protests). The Federal government deficits ballooning -- because of Trump's tax cuts and virus spending -- and the economy being hit hard by the virus is a deadly combination punch to the economy. Well, Democratic Presidents have often inherited crashing economies. That happened with Obama in 2009 and seems certain again in 2021. In summary then, political, economic, health and racial discords continue -- a noxious combination.

Bright Stars, Earth Rising & Shining Planets
Bright Stars Earthsky.org offers this pretty cool celestial tidbit in Why are the stars so bright tonight?
This offers some perspective that our earthly plight is just a mode of dust in the cosmos. Earth Rising Today's email from Earthsky.org also offers a trip back to the sixties, when society was also transformed -- Famous Earthrise photo taken on Christmas Eve. Taken from Apollo 8, December 24, 1968, It was a photo that showed humans a new perspective, with the moon in the foreground and Earth floating in distant space. The iconic image helped spur the environmental movement.
Shining Planets With the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction still very tight, which combination in Vedic Astrology signals the beginning of a new 20 year era, perhaps if we all look up, humanity will be inspired to push ahead the Second Progressive Age.
