Into The Heart Of Darkness

Joseph Conrad's late 19th century Heart Of Darkness is a riverboat journey through the Congo River -- a deep dive into the horrors of colonialism in a primeval setting.  I remember reading the book when about twelve years old, captivated by the vivid descriptions of a rather ordinary ivory trading company boat captain traveling up a steamy tropical river that darkened daily with building foreboding about locating a fellow company trader who may have gone mad.  What he finds is the horror of a clash of civilizations exposing the worst of white colonialism.

This election reminds of that terrifying journey exploring the depths of the jungle and still primitive the human character -- how we are all sullied by the stench of Trump, even as we try to to stay above it.  But because he has permeated such a large part of society, it can't be avoided.  If the sewer line breaks down the street, we all smell it.

Well, election day is tomorrow, which we hope will be the ending, a culmination.  But the story doesn't end with the paddle wheeler leaving the frightening jungle river to reach the company station.  The captain and crew are then pulled into the insane cruelty of colonialism.  Similarly, tomorrow just ends the first part of the tale, with the finale still ahead.  Captivating foreboding is a good term here.

That's the problem with Trump -- it never ends with him -- even though we know his breathing hate, fear and racism to appeal to society's lowest qualities must end by overcoming those depths of depravity.

The October 25 Pins And Needles set the stage.  Beyond Mercury being retrograde and assaulted by Mars and Saturn, that entry stated,

October 25, 2020

Mars' influence on Venus spoils happiness and contentment and stimulates for friction between the sexes.  The Sun being kingship -- government leaders -- is in particularly bad shape for the suffocating Saturn aspect and the aggravating Mars aspect.  Plus, the fallen Sun with mental Mercury is especially stressful on the mind.  The hot Sun burns Mercury and can bring, among other things, fear, even paranoia.  (A neighbor his this combination, and she's been swept into imaginary fears of all kinds -- including snipers in the park across the street.)

Another Vedic measurement is seen in all three of the inner planets -- Venus, Mercury and the Sun -- are both weak and afflicted.  As these are fast moving planets -- 30 days in a sign -- they symbolize the quick daily energies we experience.  So, we all feel like we're on pins and needles.

So, what happens tomorrow and then how do the planetary karmas unfold?

Below is the transit chart for tomorrow at 1:30 PM EST.  Notice Mercury ended it's retrograde -- no R following the Me.  That's obviously good, but the Mars and Saturn afflicting aspects to Venus, Mercury and the Sun continue.  So, while nervous tensions will not as as palpable, they will continue -- for the globe -- which includes the nation, the candidates and you and me.

Notable is the emotional Moon will be with Rahu, the head of the dragon eclipse point -- memories of the past create fear of the future.  Everyone will be tremendously riled up tomorrow.  And not mentioned so far is Saturn aspecting Mars, a high energy destructive combination which is particularly bad for Trump since it is his eighth house of disaster.  That is, the election tomorrow will likely result in a disaster for him -- career, reputation, perhaps even physical.

Further, Trump's Dasas (planetary cycles that are the underlying karma for him) are tough being Jupiter/Saturn/Rahu -- pushing ahead relentlessly and a lot of destruction.  Biden's Dasas are so much better --- Jupiter/Rahu/Jupiter -- bringing wisdom, judgment, trust, hope, honesty and potent good fortune.  That is why Biden's been shining on Trump's darkness.  And like a vampire, Trump can't stand light.

November 3, 2020

Unfortunately, part two of this election begins November 4 and continues for some time because Trump will press on, even harder. The Sun (leadership) won't leave Libra until November 16, and Mercury not until November 28.  And poor Venus doesn't find solace in Scorpio until December 11.  So, tomorrow's election truly just turns the page to another battle -- the legal one contesting the election.  It doesn't appear, however, that will go anywhere, especially since he's outclassed by Biden, his claims are specious and he will likely lose by a meaningful margin.  It may be the similarly ruined Republicans will withhold their support and abandon him. Even the worst rats leave a sinking ship.

In closing, this entry may seem confusing or overwhelming. Well, with the planets so afflicted, it wasn't exactly easy writing it either.

The Creature Of The Black Lagoon

This 1954 classic monster horror film is forgettable for its campy cinematography -- memorable only for the catchy title.  Whoops, it was also filmed in thrilling 3D!  Sorry if you lost your nifty 3D movie glasses.

Including the tramp steamer, Rita, it's like a low brow cousin to the November 2 The Heart Of Darkness.

Even better perhaps, the movie is a take off on the original 1933 King Kong.

Sadly, while Fay Raye is forever burnt into our collective consciousness for King Kong, nobody remembers Julia Adams in The Creature From The Black Lagoon.  Yes, the movie was that forgettable.

Perhaps, though, the day will come when look-alike Ivanka Trump is similarly forgotten, and her own creature/monster Daddy Dearest has faded away from even our rarest nightmares.  (There is the issue of reprogramming member of the Cult of Trump, but that's another Celestial Wheel entry.)

Getting back to the November 2 The Heart Of Darkness, if you read the book you'll realize the anticipation of terror was much greater than the reality.  Let's take a look at the predictions.

This one has come true.

And not mentioned so far is Saturn aspecting Mars, a high energy destructive combination which is particularly bad for Trump since it is his eighth house of disaster. That is, the election tomorrow will likely result in a disaster for him -- career, reputation, perhaps even physical.

And this prediction is prescient, especially considering the amount of Rahu energy.  Recall the head-of-the-dragon eclipse point's influences are unpredictable and uncontrollable.  And Rahu's cold blooded serpent energy is expended as the destroyer of today and creator of tomorrow.

Unfortunately, part two of this election begins November 4 and continues for some time because Trump will press on, even harder.  ...So, tomorrow's election truly just turns the page to another battle -- the legal one contesting the election.  It doesn't appear, however, that will go anywhere, especially since he's outclassed by Biden, his claims are specious and he will likely lose by a meaningful margin.  It may be the similarly ruined Republicans will withhold their support and abandon him.  Even the worst rats leave a sinking ship.

We can see how pervasive Rahu is in Biden's and Trump's planetary cycles, as stated in the November 2 entry.

Trump's Dasas (planetary cycles that are the underlying karma for him) are tough being Jupiter/Saturn/Rahu -- pushing ahead relentlessly and a lot of destruction.  Biden's Dasas are so much better --- Jupiter/Rahu/Jupiter

The dates for these cycles are: Trump October 27, 2020 to March 15, 2021 and Biden (approximately*) August 9, 2020 to January 3, 2023.  Further the U.S. chart's planetary cycles are Rahu/Jupiter/Rahu from August 27, 2020 to January 05, 2021. Rahu is pervasive now and will be for a long time.  This then, can be understood to be just one more Rahu-driven lurch forward into the Second Progressive Age.

(*I haven't been satisfied with Biden's reported from memory birth time of 8:30 AM, which gives a Scorpio (Mars) first house chart. Libra (Venus) first house works much, much better using a birth time of 7:30 AM or a little earlier.  I'll do a birth time rectification when I can to nail down an exact birth time.)

The November 2 The Heart Of Darkness also suggested the election will be firmly decided November 16, which is different from when Trump will give up.

The Sun being kingship -- government leaders -- is in particularly bad shape for the suffocating Saturn aspect and the aggravating Mars aspect.  Plus, the fallen Sun with mental Mercury is especially stressful on the mind.  The hot Sun burns Mercury and can bring, among other things, fear, even paranoia.

...The Sun (leadership) won't leave Libra until November 16, and Mercury not until November 28.

A Long Slog

The (above) November 2 Into The Heart Of Darkness suggested the weak and afflicted planetary karmas enveloping the election won't be be resolved until November 16, possibly longer.

Unfortunately, part two of this election begins November 4 and continues for some time because Trump will press on, even harder. The Sun (leadership) won't leave Libra until November 16, and Mercury not until November 28. And poor Venus doesn't find solace in Scorpio until December 11.

The obvious key planet here is the government leadership Sun stuck in Libra for another six days.

The nail-biter election has morphed into a long slog through the muddiest of swamps.

The irony, of course, is using Trump's swamp analogy -- although this deep degradation has truly always been in the fabric of American culture -- fear, hate and racism.  But while it is our common swamp, it's also up to society to get through it so dry and safe ground.

If  king Trump doesn't yield by November 16 due to the fallen and afflicted Sun weighing him down, the next timemark would be November 28 when communications Mercury also then escapes into Scorpio.  This results because Mercury in the U.S. chart rules the seventh house of the social nature and relationships and the tenth house of government officials.

In the meantime, keep in mind that infectious Mars keeps aspecting respiratory system Mercury until November 28 -- stoking virus infections.

The below chart for today repeats the arrow aspects from Mars and Saturn published in earlier entries.  Two further conditions are concealed within the chart graphic.

First, Mars' aspect four houses away to Gemini has been added because Mars at 21 degrees is almost exactly aspecting the U.S. chart's governmental Sun at 22 degrees.  (That chart is not shown here.)  This means that violent and aggressive Mars is attacking both transit Sun in Libra and the U.S. chart's Sun -- a double hit for government leaders -- Trump.

November 11, 2020

Second, Jupiter, the great benefic, is fast approaching the sign boundary between Sagittarius and Capricorn.  That sign change will happen November 20.  Jupiter is fallen (weak) in Capricorn, where he will also be afflicted by a very strong Saturn -- resistance and loss.  (Remember, Saturn is the one planet which cannot be resisted, and his power is like the pressure turning coal into diamond.) The October 25 Pins And Needles explained,

Yet anther Vedic measurement is the twenty year conjunction between Jupiter and Saturn, the big planets and thereby the planets of social evolution.  When these conjoin, they signal a broad and deep karma holding sway over the globe for the next two decades.

Just considering Jupiter and Saturn, we can see the tone of this chart.  Jupiter (wealth) is weakly fallen in Capricorn with Saturn (poverty) strong in its own sign. This indicates economic loss, the inevitable consequences of Trump's profligate ways -- tax cuts, deficits and policies helping the rich by beating down the middle class and poor.  It's a karmic reckoning.

But it's also a new beginning, part of the still-introductory years of the Second Progressive Age.  In a real sense, it's a clean slate, a start-over.  Recall the Celestial Wheel has long predicted Trump came to destroy everything, then blow himself up, to enable the country to begin again.

Further, Jupiter is Trump's current 16 year Dasa (planetary cycle) planet that begin just after his election in 2016.  As Dasas are like the river of life and transits analogous to weather events on that river, Saturn blocking this weak Jupiter will take the remaining wind out of Trump's ability to con and convince.  So, if the Sun and Mercury changing signs to Scorpio this month don't knock him down, then the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction, which begins November 20 and peaks December 21, will.

In the meantime, hang tight and expect to be mud splashed along the way.

Still Slogging

The inner planets -- Sun, Mercury and Venus -- that give short term effects and bursts of karma are in better condition now.  But we're still slogging along through the election transition, the virus, our own personal experiences....

To illustrate, here's the transit chart for today,

November 18, 2020

Aspects (glances) from the two great malefics -- Mars and Saturn -- are drawn in.

You can see the Sun did escape its terrible position in Libra -- fallen and aspected by Mars and Saturn.  That happened November 16, and The Celestial Wheel had hoped this shift would signal an end to the election. The (above) November 11 A Long Slog explained,

While great progress has been made in accepting Biden's win, Trump is holding on, just barely.  The truth that he lost is like a slow leak in an inflatable boat -- gradually sinking him.

Venus, the planet of love and joy, has although thankfully escaped her fallen sign and is now strong in Libra -- a sign she rules and is thereby effective in. Venus, of course, still receives Mars' bad aspect, as well as now Saturn's. But, on balance, Venus's grace is able to pierce through the fog of suffering, acrimony and lies.

Mercury remains in Libra, where it is still being slammed -- again by Mars and Saturn aspects.  When it leaves Libra November 28, Mercury's signification for government officials in the U.S. chart will be free of affliction.  Thus, one has to believe the election controversies will end by then.  Further, as the (above) November 11 A Long Slog stated, In the meantime, keep in mind that infectious Mars keeps aspecting respiratory system Mercury until November 28 -- stoking virus infections.  We would hope this fall's virus surge, which began in late September when Mercury first entered Libra, will fall off at month's end.  That could occur but may not.

Here's why.  Saturn, the planet of death, throws an aspect to Cancer, as shown in the above chart.  It's currently at 3:14 degrees, which position is nearly exactly on the U.S chart's Mercury at 3:26 degrees -- in this eighth house of calamity.  And because Saturn moves so very slowly, that aspect won't get beyond the 2 degree minimum separation until the middle of December.

Further, the U.S. chart's Dasas (definitive planetary karmas) change from Rahu/Jupiter to Rahu/Saturn January 5, 2021 -- which suggests the virus will continue at high levels for months beyond.  And as the Saturn aspect to the U.S. eighth house shifts away from Mercury, it will begin approaching toxic Rahu at 16:51 degrees in this house of calamity.

So, we're not finished with the virus yet, although it would be more accurate to say the virus isn't finished with us.

The above chart also shows Jupiter now at the very edge of Sagittarius, going into its fallen sign of Capricorn in just two days -- November 20.  Recall the October 25 Pins And Needles addressed this issue -- which is negative for the economy.  Because this weak Jupiter is also hammered by a very strong Saturn in Capricorn, the great benefic's luck and fortune simply can't shine.  And when Jupiter conjoins with Saturn December 21, that conjunction of the two big planets of social evolution will signal the beginning of a new twenty year era. It's another step along in the Second Progressive Age (signified by the 18 year Rahu Dasa in the U.S. chart) but a difficult one requiring overcoming many losses and obstacles.  Also of note is Jupiter rules the first house of the self in the U.S. chart, and by being placed in the seventh house of the other, it binds the U.S. tightly together.  Even the Civil War couldn't break the union.  But this bad Jupiter/Saturn conjunction weakens that glue and suggests strongly that fundamental qualities in society will be plastic and will settle into new qualities.  Again the suggestion is Second Progressive Age progress -- regaining shared democratic values.  This reminds of Goldie Hawn's famous quote in the 1980 Private Benjamin, I wanna go out to lunch. I wanna be NORMAL again!

A final celestial transit combination happens December 14 when there's a total eclipse of the Sun mid morning at 29 degrees Scorpio.  Very fortunately for this destabilizing phenomena, there won't be any more eclipses this winter.  The next will be at total lunar eclipse in late May.

Overall, the expected turbulence of Trump's presidential ending is actualizing.  The virus, the economy and a reordering of society is his nasty legacy, but only out of turmoil comes change.  We just have to get through the next several months in more or less one piece.  This fits with The Celestial Wheel stating many times that Trump came to destroy everything, and then he blows himself up.

Happy Thanksgiving

Our lives have all changed since the pandemic began in March.  That process of destruction enabling construction will continue as the U.S. advances further into the first disruptive and then healing Second Gilded Age.

I know well this is an oft-repeated notion, but it is well worthwhile repeating as we move into new virus peaks and at the same time embark on a new Democratic administration -- with a truly Second Progressive Age black female Vice President!

There are other signals in our own personal lives.  Here in the old military town of Venice, Florida, where Midwest kindly retirees had revealed their racism with Trump signs, banners, arguments, frowns and anti-mask behaviors resulted in distrust.  That antisocial behavior is pretty quickly yielding back to small town friendly smiles, greetings, courtesy, helpfulness, sympathy and compassion. That is coming not just from the liberals but also from the shamed conservatives who are deprogramming from the Trump cult.  All is not perfect, of course, but it's been a while since massive pickups tried to run me off the road with their twin Confederate and Trump flags.  And, when I say now, We're all Americans first, responses are either agreeable, or at worst, tacit nods.

You too may have noticed this shift from darkness to light is beginning -- like a brightening dawn after one of the many hurricanes that have similarly ripped society apart.

In the meantime, here are a couple of things our household has done since March. The first is silly but entertaining and also constructive.

We noticed less wildlife since the horrible red tide two years ago, the storms and new homes on formerly weedy lots.  While birds are welcome, and rapacious squirrels are always controversial for their behaviors, we truly enjoy the wild bunnies.  So, we built this bunny house as a refuge.  That's Spotty, who came into our back yard as a baby back in June.  Spot, his parent or big sister, disappeared after a few months, but now Baby Bunny has started coming around.

While the bunnies love birdseed, we also give them rabbit food for its greater nutrition -- even as they push most of the man made vegetable pellets aside.  You can see those on the top of the white bowl.

What bunnies love the best, as do birds, is sunflower seeds.  So we planted a sunflower patch.  This is the second planting, and while it's a little late, the plants are still blooming.  When the petals fall off, we'll cut them off, hang them to dry in the lanai.  When dry, we'll strip off the seeds and put them in the bunny bowl and bird feeder.

Yes, the squirrels and palm rats also love sunflowers.  We control them with chicken wire, rat traps and coffee grounds.  No, we're not very good farmers, but we're learning!

Another change we made was transportation.  I've long had Italian motor scooters and rely on this classic but powerful and fast 250 CC Aprilia Scarabeo.  With the large 16" wheels, seating for two and a huge top truck, we can travel really anywhere and haul all kinds of stuff -- groceries, laundry, yard supplies.....

And last July I found this nifty folding electric minibike for my housemate.  It's shown with the handlebar folded for easy carrying, or even put in the top case of the Aprilia.  It's a Jetson (remember the TV show?) Bolt, goes 15 mph, range 17 miles and is great for scooting around the neighborhood, where she can conveniently park in bicycle racks.

While the bunny project supports the natural world and reconnects us with nature, the scooters reflect our awareness of climate change plus the already-arriving simplification of lifestyles.  As for the latter, recall The Celestial Wheel is calling for a severe economic contraction due to: climate issues, the virus, income and wealth inequality, Federal government spending and debt out of control.  From a Vedic perspective, this is seen in the long U.S. Rahu Dasa (planetary cycle) with expansive Jupiter newly it its fallen sign of Capricorn with contracting Saturn.  Simplifying and streamlining our lives is accepting that it's true that less is more.  Besides, my house mate's cooking is both healthier and better than restaurant food.

Eclipse Season

The  (above) November 18 Still Slogging brought up the impending total solar eclipse on December 14,

A final celestial transit combination happens December 14 when there's a total eclipse of the Sun mid morning at 29 degrees Scorpio.  Very fortunately for this destabilizing phenomena, there won't be any more eclipses this winter. The next will be at total lunar eclipse in late May.

I erred here in not also seeing tomorrow's lunar eclipse in referencing eclipse websites. And know better because eclipse seasons always have at least one solar and one lunar.  Astronomy website EarthSky.org yet again came to the rescue with this article, Full moon, faint eclipse, November 29-30,

It’ll be the faintest of eclipses – nearly imperceptible – so that some of you will swear nothing is happening even while staring straight at it.  Then again … observant people may notice a subtle shading on the moon, even without knowing an eclipse is taking place.

This results because it's a penumbral lunar eclipse, in which the Moon will pass through the earth's outer dimming penumbral shadow.  That only partially shades the Moon, compared with the complete blackout of an total umbra eclipse.  The astrology here again matches the astronomy, for penumbral lunar eclipses are so minor their astrological effects can pass unnoticed.  Still, the location at Taurus 14:28 degrees is the Moon's exalted sign, where she shines with a mesmerizing glow.  So the eclipse shading will bring an entrancing glow -- more show than substance however.  It may be good for romance and spiritual insights.

By contrast, the December 14 total solar eclipse will be a striking astronomical and astrological event.  Not only will it totally block the Sun, but solar eclipses, by nature, are much more potent than lunar eclipses.  The former block (which is what eclipses do) the Sun's kingship, power, self, ego and soul.  (Physically the Sun is the head, skeleton, lower back, right eye and heart.)  It's also important to recall (unless you already know) that eclipse effects begin about 10 days before the actual event and gradually decline for the next week or so -- but that eclipse effects can linger for up to six months.  Whether a chart is hit by the eclipse depends upon a planet being within two degrees of the eclipse point, or directly opposite in the zodiac,

I have recent personal experience with a solar eclipse hitting my chart.  The penumbral solar eclipse June 21 at 6:13 Gemini was a direct hit on my 6:04 Gemini Moon.  Notice this was not a total umbral but rather a much weaker penumbral eclipse. As the Moon is the home, a city contractor dug up my entire back yard to install a new water line, and a thunderstorm caused a pretty big leak in the bathroom.  As the Moon rules my tenth house of government officials, it fits that the City dig the yard disruption.  And with my Moon in the ninth house of authority figures, my libertarian landlord went nuts because I wouldn't let him come here without a mask.  It wasn't until two weeks ago that the contractor finished the job, including bringing in two cubic yards of new pea gravel.  At the same time, the landlord calmed down.  It wasn't fun with a muddy back yard for six months, nor having to dodge the landlord all summer and fall.  Other stuff happened during the summer and fall, but these two events were the most consequential.

So, we can anticipate this upcoming total solar eclipse will be tremendously impactive upon those charts it hits and that the reverberations will continue for a half year.

I include all this detail because the December 14 total solar eclipse at 29 degrees Scorpio (28:59 precisely) hits Trump's chart doubly.  As shown in Trump's below Vedic chart, the eclipse hits his 28:05 Scorpio Moon within a degree and also the opposite Sun at 29:49 Taurus, again within a degree.  Remember, any less than two degrees is a bullseye.

Trump
June 14, 1946 at 10:54 AM Queens Village, NY

Again, as the Moon is the home, and Trump's Moon is in the fourth house of the home, the eclipse indicates he loses his home -- the White House.  With the Moon being the perceptional mind and the emotions, the eclipse will stimulate crazed behavior.  As the Sun is his self (huge ego but no soul) and career planet, the eclipse knocks that out too.  Amazingly, December 14 is the date the election electors cast their votes, and Trump has already agreed to leave the White House if the electors choose Biden.  There is also a physical risk since the Moon rules the twelfth house of hospitalization and final liberation and the Sun signifies the heart and head -- heart attack and stroke.  Another factor here is that because Trump was born on a total lunar eclipse, this upcoming total solar eclipse is a kind of echo that must be a negative.

Keeping in mind that solar eclipse effects begin soon and continue for the next six months, it looks like this eclipse will finish defanging Trump.  Still, the raging and fearful bull can alternatively run away or grievously attack.

In closing, it's worthwhile considering the disposition of the other planets are the eclipse approaches and occurs.  Below is a transit chart for December 14.  This fall has focused upon the twin harms by malefics Mars and Saturn in their aspecting (glancing up) Libra, where the three inner planets traveled -- Sun, Mercury and Venus.  That caused a lot of troubles, including political, the virus, hurricanes and protests.  However, all are now out of Libra and into Scorpio.

Solar Eclipse
December 14, 2020

Yes, Scorpio is a difficult sign being the eighth in the natural zodiac starting with Aries -- calamities, scandals.... And the eclipse there brings some harms, notably, of course, to the Sun.  It may be that because eclipses block the Sun, allowing the stars to sign, that their revealing quality will reveal scandal in Trump's life.  The planet that is hit hardest, however, is Mercury for being exactly with eclipse point Ketu and then crashing into the hot Sun just three days later.  Since Mercury is the respiratory system, it seems the virus will be surging again then, but more in deaths than infections.

We also have to pay attention to Jupiter, the planet of luck and fortune, which also rules the U.S. chart.  Recall that Jupiter is fallen (weak) in Capricorn and afflicted by a very strong Saturn.  While their exact conjunction December 21 signals the beginning of a new twenty year era, that beginning promises to be rough, perhaps most especially economically.  This results because Capricorn is the U.S. chart's second house of income and domestic harmony (protests).

Overall, it appears the eclipse will really knock down Trump -- and keep him down -- and that we'll have a tough few months with the virus, economy, domestic harmony.  However, because Jupiter was retrograde this past summer, he's moving fast now and will not spend his usual year in Capricorn.  He'll sprint through Capricorn and enter Aquarius April 4, which can very well signal a good spring after a winter of blizzards of several types.

PS To "Happy Thanksgiving"

The (above) November 28 Eclipse Season included a a brief discussion of the inner planets challenged transits through Libra,

In closing, it's worthwhile considering the disposition of the other planets as the eclipse approaches and occurs.

These fast transits of the Sun, Mercury and Venus through Libra ran:

Sun October 17 -- November 15
Mercury September 22 -- November 27
Venus November 16 -- December 11

Recall the October 25 Pins And Needles explained about Mercury and The Sun,

Mars' influence on Venus spoils happiness and contentment and stimulates for friction between the sexes.  The Sun being kingship -- government leaders -- is in particularly bad shape for the suffocating Saturn aspect and the aggravating Mars aspect.  Plus, the fallen Sun with mental Mercury is especially stressful on the mind.  The hot Sun burns Mercury and can bring, among other things, fear, even paranoia. (A neighbor his this combination, and she's been swept into imaginary fears of all kinds -- including snipers in the park across the street.)

As shown above, The Sun and Mercury were together in Libra from October 17 to November 15.  This insanity karma thereby occurred before and after the November 3 election -- when Trump's conspiracy theories that the election was rigged and stolen from him (without proof) were promoted and accepted by lots of Americans beset with the mystical paranoia in the U.S. chart. (That societal karma results from Rahu and Mercury placed in the eighth house of the occult and other hidden things.  People feel under attack and suspected hidden forces against them.)

While it's certainly interesting this Sun/Mercury mental aberration mid October for a month fits with that mystical paranoia, it's also useful to know that these fast moving transits have short term and worldly effects.  As Vedic Astrology's planetary cycles (Dasas) are like the river of life and transits are analogous to weather events on that river (a secondary karma), the suggestion is this mental thunderstorm of insanity will fairly quickly fade away.  That means the election will soon be generally accepted by society, even though some of Trump's cult members will still insist in the fraud he claims.

Let's hope the December 14 total solar eclipse, which signals the end of Trump's presidency on the day the electors vote, will sufficiently dampen this mystical paranoia that the country can begin moving from Trump's dark lies ahead into the light of truth.
