Capricorn Collision

As explained several times in the past, there are many patterns in the celestial map that reveal combined karmas certain to impact, often forcefully. Too, often identifying a karmic peak leads to seeing other ones as the transiting planets move. For example, the December 22, 2021 Comeuppance analyzed Trump's chart, finding this, emphasis added,

Venus' transit position is thereby important to predict Trump's upcoming prospects. Unfortunately for Trump, Venus retrogrades back from Capricorn into Sagittarius to be closely conjunct destructive malefic Mars in early February to the end of March in both these signs. Then, with Mars still close-by, Venus crashes into malefic Saturn -- also at the end of March. Mars is a first rate malefic, bringing discords, fighting, anger, storms... He overwhelms sweet Venus. Saturn is the planet of loss and separation. It covers Venus like a blanket that smothers. Note that Capricorn, where Venus is hammered by Saturn and Mars, is Trump's sixth house of open enemies, litigation and debts.

January 16 Mishmash explained that considering Trump's chart,

Looking again at this March 25, 2022 transit chart in entirety, you can't miss that the dominant planetary karma is the conjunction of the worst malefics, Mars and Saturn, in Capricorn. This naturally bodes badly for the U.S. chart, as these transiting planets are both now sitting on the U.S. birthchart Ketu in the second house. Covid and politics are obvious stress areas.

That forecast then considered this upcoming Mars/Saturn conjunction in Capricorn in relation to when it last occurred -- two years ago,

...when Mars crossed Saturn in March 2020, the virus had become so bad we went into lockdown.

This year, two years later... The virus has flared up again with Omicron, and Mars will conjoin Saturn in late March 2022. This suggests Covid remains at a high level this winter. There's also, of course, the political situation, which is ready to explode anytime and certainly will hit Trump.

For clarification, here's the chart for March 28, when the malefic Mars/Saturn conjunction energies peak in Capricorn -- being both close to each other and surrounding the benifics Venus and the Moon. You can also see Mercury fallen weak) in Pisces combust (burn) by the hot Sun.

Note the Capricorn location, which is a rough sign. The February 4, 2021Then There Were Six discussed Capricorn, a sign ruled by Saturn, the planet of loss and denial, where Mars is exalted -- strongest.

Capricorn, which sign, in Vedic Astrology called is Makara, ...a Sanskrit word which means "sea dragon" or "water-monster". It is the origin of the Hindi word for crocodile.

This fits for being a sign owned by Saturn -- not exactly cuddly like my back yard wild bunnies. Crocodiles naturally attack and crush the bones of any animal.

Understanding now the great malefics, Mars and Saturn, are very strong in Makara, we can anticipate this upcoming
conjunction of these planets hemming in Venus and the Moon will truly be a Capricorn Collision. Plus, Mars and Saturn don't just harm Venus and the Moon, they harm each other -- generating tremendous stress.

As stated above this Capricorn Collision peaks March 28. It will begin to exert its influences when Mars, currently in Sagittarius, shifts into Capricorn February 26. So, late February through late March will be fraught with Maraka terror. While Trump's chart has been identified as hit hard enough to knock him down, certainly the U.S. chart will be hammered. Plus as these are transits, influencing globally, everyone, everywhere will experience the planetary dissonance.

Poor Venus

We should all be concerned about the Mars/Saturn karmic crash in Capricorn. The Celestial Wheel has posted warnings about this -- and especially that Venus is caught in the middle of this maelstrom.

The last forecast, the above February 5 Capricorn Collision, stated,

Understanding now the great malefics, Mars and Saturn, are very strong in Makara, we can anticipate this upcoming conjunction of these planets hemming in Venus and the Moon will truly be a Capricorn Collision. Plus, Mars and Saturn don't just harm Venus and the Moon, they harm each other -- generating tremendous stress.

The above insert, then, reminds us of two things. First, Venus is caught in the middle of the destructive Mars/Saturn conjunction. Second, the Mars/Saturn conjunction harms begin February 26, when Mars shifts into Capricorn and peaks March 28.

The December 22, 2021 Comeuppance stated,

Venus retrogrades back from Capricorn into Sagittarius to be closely conjunct destructive malefic Mars in early February to the end of March in both these signs. Then, with Mars still close-by, Venus crashes into malefic Saturn -- also at the end of March.

Thus, Venus being close to Mars continues for nearly two months. That issue has not previously been adequately stressed. It's very unusual for these two planets to be in close tandem for so long because Venus moves twice as fast as Mars. Venus is normally in a sign for 30 days and Mars for 60. An earlier Venus retrograde must be involved, But truthfully, this situation is unexpected and exceptional.

Because Mars is a pitta (hot) malefic causing wars, discords, storms and other violences, he overwhelms poor Venus -- the most gentle of benefic planets with an embracing kapha (watery) nature. Venus' qualities of love, peace, beauty, kindness, charity, humanitarianism, cooperation, bliss and the grace of God.... are all hammered. Thus, current divisive issues, especially COVID and the Ukrainian/ Russian issue, are more acute for this Mars driven Venus. Too, as this is a transit, it's global in nature. Thus, your own personal experiences are marred by Mars striking hard at Venus for such a long period of time.

Below is today's transit chart showing Venus closely conjunct in late Sagittarius. And following that is the March 28, when the Capricorn Collision peaks.
