The River Of Life
The Celestial Wheel has long made the distinction between Dasas (planetary cycles) and transits (where the planets are in today's skies.
Complete analysis naturally involves considering both - with the analogy being Dasas are like the river of life and transits are like weather events on the river. Both impact the Vedic Charts of the person or organization navigating river. Dasas, then, are the course of the river that take the boat downstream, and transits are rain or shine impacts upon the boat.
Sometimes Celestial Wheels focus primarily upon transits, as they have recently, with the context-making Dasas only referenced. This is because transits are more worldly and temporary planetary karmas, which we've had a lot of recently -- political violence, severe weather... Transits are best applied as timing indicators for the chart's Dasa influences. At other times, the Celestial Wheel measures the underlying karmas of Dasas -- the course of the river of life.
This forecast focuses upon the Dasas for the three charts under consideration for this U.S based publication -- The U.S., Biden and Trump. These combine to guide the present and future of the U.S. in a broad brush way. For clarity, no transits analysis (events) is included.
Maha (major) Dasas have 4 minor subcycles, each of decreasing influence and duration. The first subcycle, called Antardasa, is critical in it's substantial weight on the major Dasa. (The third level is also valuable, but that truly describes steering currents. The fourth and fifth levels bring finer nuances to the major Dasa Rahu.)
U.S.
Everyone knows the U.S. Dasa is Rahu -- 18 years of turmoil leading to a Second Progressive Age. Rahu, the head of the serpent, destroys today to create tomorrow. (If you doubt this, consider how the U.S. has changed since Rahu's 18 year cycle began in the fall of 2015. We've had so many hurricanes here in Florida remembering which came when is a struggle!)
Here's the Maha and Antardasa planets for the U.S. chart,
As shown the current Mahadasa is Rahu (Ra) Antardasa planet is Saturn (A). This is a difficult combination. Saturn, the planet of suffering and loss, stimulates in Rahu remorseless effort and victimizing. We've certainly experienced these, especially since this Rahu/Saturn combination began on January 6, 2021 -- the exact date of the Capital insurrection.
Coming up in just a week is the Mercury Antardasa. Because Rahu and Mercury are both in the calamitous eight house, there are tremendous mental and physical stresses, upwellings of subconsciousness karmas and fears. (Look for not just calamities but also scandals, secrets revealed, sexual issues...) This is probably the worst Dasa/Antardasa combination in this entire transformational Rahu Dasa. It lasts from November 13, 2023 to June 2 2026 -- 2 /1/2 years.
This combination naturally suggests that President Biden's and Trump's chart will be definitive, for the two guide, even control, the country's direction and progress.
Biden
The January 13, 20123 Joe Biden's Denouement, explains Biden completed his great 16 year Jupiter Dasa about the first of this year, during which time he advanced to Vice President and then President.
He's now in his very tough 19 year Saturn Dasa. The planet of suffering and loss won't give Biden a break, even as he does a remarkably competent job. His poll numbers bounce along the bottom. Saturn is placed in his eighth house of turmoil. This makes sense because Saturn rules the fifth house of children, and Hunter Biden's problems escalate.
Dasas start out slowly and reach full strength during the second Antardasa -- in this case Mercury in early 2026. So, Saturn is pressing more and more upon Biden, and we must hope he completes his 4 year term.
Trump
Trump started his great 16 year Jupiter Dasa right after the 2016 election. Being stationary, it is very powerful, even more so than Biden's exalted Jupiter. However, Saturn aspects Jupiter, and Jupiter rules the eighth house of turmoil. So, positive results can yield to failures, and this at least partially results from Jupiter inflating Trump's ego and being overly optimistic.
Trump finished his troublesome Mercury Antardasa (four criminal indictments) and shifted into Ketu (Ke) October 22. The August 13 Dog Days explained how this changes his planetary karmas.
| The next Dasa major and minor are Jupiter and Ketu October 23, 2023 to September 27, 2024. As Ketu is the mystical and dissolving tail-of-the-dragon eclipse point, it's alien to worldly endeavors. Also, being conjunct Trump's already overly sensitive perceptional Moon, Trump lives by his emotions, loses rationality and lives in his own mystical paranoia. In an already fragile national environment, this further stress must result in his cult ending. |
We can already see this in Trump's irrational communications -- Truth Social, his rallies and court appearances.
It's important to know Trump's great Jupiter Dasa is not guaranteed to always bring success. This is because Jupiter is aspected by malefic Saturn and rules the eighth house of calamity. Add to this over-optimism and inflated ego, and Trump falls off the cliff -- just as he did in the New Jersey casino debacle. That's why the Celestial Wheel has repeatedly stated that Trump's role is to destroy everything and then blow himself up.
We should add here that Trump's Moon rules his twelfth house of loss and is placed in the fourth house of the home. There, the Moon is badly afflicted -- in her fallen sign of Scorpio, conjunct Ketu and aspected by Mars. Beyond emotional issues, he loses his home during this cycle. This results when the ruler of the twelfth of loss is in the fourth of the home, the person rents out part of his home. Trump has lived in a home hotel for many decades. So, it seems that during Jupiter Dasa, Ketu Antardasa that Trump loses Mar a Lago, and/or one of his other homes, like Trump Towers. And this loss is just part of a huge setback in his material life.
Conclusion
With so much eighth house energy in all these charts, previous Rahu Dasa turbulences will appear minor -- including Trump, COVID, global warming....
It seems the economy must burst, but that is overdue anyway. Certainly both the economic and political landscapes will be shaped into new realities.

Down The River Of Life
The November 7 The River Of Life identified the close timing of difficult Dasas (planetary cycles) for the three charts currently being interpreted -- U.S., Biden and Trump.
This is repetition of karma. Also, the duration of those karmas impacts. In this case three Dasa repetitions brings a potent karma impacting the entire U.S., and the duration of these karmas is very long -- a year. The results are tremendous. Both, of course, are patterns, which is what Vedic Astrology seeks to enable predictions.
When you find something once, it's possible; twice it's likely; and three times, inevitable. That's what we have with the three charts all showing stressful Dasas.
An analogy is rafting down a treacherous section of down the river of life which has rapids, whirlpools and surging currents. Then make the typical day trip into one lasting a year!
The November 7 The River Of Life described these repetitions of very long karmas,
 The U.S. runs Rahu/Mercury (major and minor) Dasa planets from 11/13/2023 to 6/2/ 2026 -- two and half very long years.
Joe Biden started his 19 year Saturn 19 Dasa at the beginning of this year. Restrictive Saturn's energy accumulates very slowly. It's not even at full force until the end of it's first subcycle 1/4/2026, at which time Saturn will have trampled upon his life.
Trump runs his Jupiter/Ketu Dasa planets from 10/22/2023 to 9/27/2024. This results in Trump living by his emotions, losing rationality and diving into his own mystical paranoia. For proof of this, just consider Trump's truly bizarre and irrational statements since late October.
Thus, all three of these dominant charts run challenging Dasa planets until late September, 2024 -- just before the November 5, 2024 national elections.
One way to look at this situation is to consider Trump's destructive Jupiter/Ketu Dasa planets sinking his ship by next fall, when he will then lose the election.
Following that are the consequences of the MAGA cult disintegrating, which we can see in the U.S. struggling for another yet another year and half. As for Biden, Saturn will continue to tighten his vise, making it unlikely he will win the election. But, if he does, he won't last long.

A Woman of Color President

As we all struggle though life -- dealing with the broken healthcare system, unaffordable rents.... -- the presidential election next fall seems both too far away yet also frighteningly too near without firm, capable and fair candidates. These elections, of course, are for both the President and Congress.
It's obviously difficult to identify all the planetary karmas in play throughout the most applicable Vedic charts -- the U.S., Biden and Trump. And then, analyzing these to make predictions results in a range of outcomes, which is different from predicting winner. In birth chart readings, Vedic Astrologers consider a planetary disposition and cite all applicable results. That technique obviously doesn't for election predictions, which require a specific result.
And then, of course, there are dark horses. These seem more than typically likely with our fractured political system, driven by U.S. chart's Rahu Dasa. Remember, Rahu's effects are both unanticipated and uncontrollable, and this is eclipse point is the destroyer of today and creator of tomorrow. The Celestial Wheel has long predicted Trump destroys everything and then blows himself up! While this certainly seems to be happening, we don't know when and how -- even though it's obvious he's already acting in irrational and bizarre ways resulting from his new Jupiter/Ketu planetary cycle -- 10/22/2023 to 9/27/2024. (note that Trump's tremendously optimistic and fortunate Jupiter Dasa is modified by dissolving Ketu bringing delusions of grandeur. It' a recipe for disaster.)
Given these caveats, The Celestial Wheel did make an exploratory and provocative prediction for the presidential race in February 2023, which seems to be more likely as time goes by. Nikki Haley is gaining support daily, and if/when Biden falters, Kamala Harris is prepared to take the reins.
The February 4 Onward Christian Soldiers stated,
White Christian nationalism is not just alive but revolting further against America's inevitable multiculturalism. It's useful to remind ourselves of this marching as to war challenge to the Second Progressive Age. The 1968 immigration law, by eliminating national origin quotas, opened the door to global immigration, most of whom came from non white countries. Now over a half century later, we have a mixed race Vice President in Kamala Harris -- Indian and Jamaican ancestry. And Republican Nikki Haley, born to Indian parents, is poised to enter the presidential race.
Wow! While MAGA extremists hit new lows with stunts, like MAGA Republicans in Congress replacing the American Flag pin with one of an AR15. The country will most likely see non white women leading presidential contenders in Harris and Haley. |
