Trump falters, or even fails, during January
The January 14 Quick Prediction Check stated ...Trump falters, or even fails, during January. That's certainly been validated. Of the endless articles about Trump's behavior, here's an illuminating one, Trump's spell is broken -- no wonder he's mad. (Mad here means anger, but recall Trump is also acting mad -- irrational.)
As explained in the December 29 Almost There, karmic drivers here are first the primary Dasas (planetary cycles), Trump's Dasas are really difficult being Jupiter/Ketu since October 22, 2023 (to September 27, 2024.
The other planetary karma are short term transits of Mars and Mercury,
Trump, on the other hand, is hit really hard with the Mercury/Mars combination. Both planets are extremely weak in Sagittarius due to getting only 1 point out of 8 in a weighting system called Ashatakavarga. Think of driving on an icy road with bald tires and a stuttering motor.

Remember, combative Mars with communications Mercury is the combination for lawyers, liars, politicians and thieves.
As not yet explained, mystical/dissolving Ketu -- the tail-of-the-dragon eclipse point -- has been transiting (crossing) over Trump's birth chart Jupiter. Jupiter being tremendously powerful in his second house of speech and income, is Trump's current Dasa planet, which began in November 2016 and lasts 16 years until 2032. Jupiter is what made Trump President. Still less than one degree apart, Ketu wipes out Jupiter's slick convincing speech quality, as well as causes financial problems. The $83 million E. Jean Carroll civil judgement against Trump is an example. Another example is the upcoming ruling by the judge in the N.Y. State civil fraud trial, which may penalize Trumpover $300 million and shut down his company.
So, there's lots of planetary karma hitting Trump hard. These are dissipating to some degree as transit Mercury has sped past transit Mars in Sagittarius and is now into Capricorn. Similarly, transit Ketu has passed birthchart Jupiter, but Ketu moves so slowly, they will continue to be close by for some months -- which means Jupiter continues to be baldly afflicted by Ketu. So, Trump's journey through rough seas is unabated.
As for the future, as we all know, Mars is the planet of action, and thereby his transits bring major instabilities and destructions. (You can see that in the Mars/Mercury combination that plagued Trump throughout January.) Mars transits through Capricorn February 5 to March 14. This is Trump's sixth house of open enemies. From Capricorn, Mars aspects Trump's twelfth house of hidden enemies, where birth chart Saturn and Venus lie. Next transit Mars will cross Aquarius and Pisces, where he runs over Saturn early April and then Rahu mid May. That could be deadly for Trump, and because that will be spring, expect tornadoes and floods peaking then.
Thereby transit Mars, continues to plague Trump through the spring. Expect civil judgments cost him big money, the four criminal indictments will begin tightening their nooses, and Trump's political influence shifts from today's faltering toward failure.

Sabbatical

After over twenty years of nearly continuously publishing The Celestial Wheel, it's time to take a break.
I've left you with forecasting good through this year. Remember the November 7 River Of Life entry? That began with a forwarding-looking explanation of then current, and upcoming, 2024 Dasas (planetary cycles) and transits. Three key charts were considered -- U.S. Biden and Trump.
Well, what began as just this single entry grew into a story-line through this last entry, February 1Trump falters or even fails during January. So, you have Vedic grist for the mill of history.
Some personal reasons suggested this break, but also I admit to being sick, sick, sick of Trump. I don't want to write further about him but can't avoid it since he influences so many areas of life.
I will leave you, for now, with this final observation.
In the early 1950's U.S. Senator Joe McCarthy took advantage of cold war fears of communism. He put the country through hell by awakening eighth house paranoia and fear of foreigners. This cult leader even accused then President Eisenhower of being a communist sympathizer!
Hmmm... This sounds familiar, doesn't it? Just replace communists with illegal aliens, and voila, we're into the 2015 -- 2014 Trump cult nightmare.) Well, that was during the U.S. chart's 17 year Mercury Dasa, which planet is conjunct Rahu in the eighth house. Now we have the 18 year Rahu Dasa, also in the terrible eighth house -- hidden depths.
So, we should expect this eighth house energy actualizes during both Mercury and Rahu Dasas. I just didn't think it would be this adverse -- even as I came back to sleepy old Venice Florida in 2012 to ride it out.

Nobody knows what will cause Trumpism to be similarly torpedoed. What may seem like a minor or random item would be the jab that pops the orange balloon. Just know that it must and will burst, and 2024 is certainly an entry into that sweepstakes
