More On Mars Transiting Scorpio & Another Eclipse!
The January 25 Celestial Wheel entry Mars Action & Eclipse Season explained that Mars transits Scorpio January 16 to March 6 bringing disruptions, elevated even for this planet of war.
Predictions for the U.S. were,
Scorpio is the twelfth house of loss in the U.S. chart, which energy naturally degrades Scorpio's energetic uplift on Mars. So, the government shutdown occurred, and expect continuing Mars disruptions. bringing twelfth house loss until Mars leaves Scorpio -- March 6.
Mars also rules Aries, which is the fifth house of government, children and investments in the U.S. chart. Expect more fireworks on DACA, as well as stock market gyrations. |
And for Trump,

Notice in his chart that Ketu (the dissolving tail-of-the-dragon eclipse point) is in Scorpio at a high degree, along with Trump's overly sensitive Moon. So far these predictions have been on target. But do note that Mars won't be really blasting Trump for a couple more weeks. The best, or rather worst, is yet to come for the White House.
Scorpio is a challenging sign for being the eight house in the natural zodiac. But that is not the sole, or even the primary planetary karma behind these disruptions. Planetary aspects (glances) are the reason this Mars is so impactive. An aspect is perhaps about 1/3 as powerful as the planet's influence in the house/sign where it resides. But still, the influence can be dramatic.
The below transit chart for tomorrow shows Mars one sign/house before Saturn and how their aspects (glances) combine in two signs.
Included are arrows showing the aspects (glances) these planets throw. All planets aspect seven houses away -- directly across the chart. Mars and Saturn (and Jupiter too) also have additional special aspects. Saturn throws one three houses away and ten houses away. Mars throws an aspect four houses away and another eight houses away.
As you can see, when Mars is one sign/house behind Saturn, they both throw aspects to two signs/houses. In this case, they both aspect Aquarius and Gemini. Aggressive Mars combined with immovable Saturn results in tremendous stresses -- like Mars as a battering ram hits a solid castle gate. Their doubled energy hitting two house/signs is destructive by a factor of four.

Let's look at where Mars and Saturn aspect the same house/sign in the U.S. and Trump's chart.
For the U.S. chart, Aquarius is the third house of desires, where the all-important Moon is placed. Emotional struggles result. And Gemini is the seventh house of relationship and the social nature, which house is loaded with four planets. Disagreements without resolution occur.
For Trump, Aquarius is his seventh house of relationship, and Mars/Saturn both aspecting there makes him irascible and ornery. And Gemini is his eleventh house of goals and groups, where his mental Mercury is placed. The twin Mars and Saturn aspects block his goals, disturb his base and infuriate his mind.
These, then, are the dominant karmas for Mars in Scorpio and are included within the predictions made in the January 25 entry.
The effects of tomorrow's partial solar eclipse have already begun and will persist for several days after the astronomical event. The above eclipse chart shows Mars and Saturn both aspecting the eighth house (calamity), where four planets, including the eclipsed Sun, is placed. This eclipse is not just destabilizing and revealing but can also result in disasters, calamities, scandals.....
With these harmful Mars/Saturn karmas hitting the U.S. and Trump's charts so hard, an old saying is applicable here, Crisies take longer to happen than you think they will and then they happen faster than you think they will.
