Turmoil Through Late May
Following the end of the really confusing February 23 to March 17 Mercury retrograde, the March 21 VedicLeaks entry identified and explained planetary dispositions bringing turmoil this month and next -- April and May.

That entry recapped the issues, which are Mars-caused,

...Mars has begun seriously afflicting the tough Saturn/Rahu conjunction in Libra and will continue doing so until May 22. Mars will also begin afflicting Ketu April 13. Finally, Mars is mixed up with the Sun/Venus/Mercury combination during this same interval, which magnifies turmoil. Notice that these total to six planets. Adding in the fast-moving and all-important Moon, makes seven. In fact, the Moon's transit position often signals major events when the planets are askance. That only leaves Jupiter escaping Mars' harms.

To help readers grasp how Mars is, and will be, hammering nearly all the planets, below are world transit charts from March 21 VedicLeaks entry. You can see the Mars influences from his positions in Pisces and Libra. From both signs, he aspects Saturn/Rahu. He also remains in the mix with the close-together Sun, Venus, Mercury trio by conjunction, which harms these planets as well. Now, the charts don't completely show the latter conjunctions of Mars with Sun, Venus and Mercury. But, if you consider these move faster than Mars, you can visualize how they catch up with him.

Plus, The Eclipse Season Is Coming
There's a final astrological event happening this spring -- the eclipse season. This is additive to the above harms Mars brings. You can see in the above April 13 World Transit Chart that the Sun is at 29 degrees, nearly out of Pisces. On April 14, the Sun enters Aries, signalling the beginning of the eclipse season. This spring there will be three eclipses:

April 25 a partial lunar at 11:43 Libra

May 9 a powerful annular solar at 25:25 Aries

May 25 a penumbral lunar at 10:05 Scorpio.

Eclipses, which block the light of the luminaries, the Sun and the Moon, destabilize. This eclipse season will (thereby) aggravate any ills resulting from Mars' multiple and harmful influences upon the other planets.

The March 21 VedicLeaks entry then cited preliminary predictions to put some meat on the described Vedic Astrology bones. Included are: Mideast violences, major storms (hitting anywhere) and for the U.S. chart, investments, government officials, truly severe storms and perhaps even popular revolts in impoverished urban areas.

This Is Important!
I'm reciting this information to emphasize it is truly important, hoping that readers will really get it -- not just blow it off as some hyped predictions of doom. Events this spring can knock the stock markets off their untenable high perches, which would be one influence throwing the economy into a tailspin -- again.

Yes, this spring can be a repeat of September 2008, when the financial markets crashed, putting the economy into a long recession, which I've termed the Millennium Contraction. Just like there was a rebound during the Great Depression in from 1934 to 1936, and the economy then went back into recession for four more years, the Millennium Contraction will see another major economic drop before it's over.

And if the battered economic wall is only weakened this spring, it will certainly topple by early fall.

Here's why. From late August into mid September, Saturn and Rahu approach exact conjunction, which must bring a lot of suffering, typified by relentless actions and victimization. That conjunction is bad enough on it's own. But also at that time, Mars will be in its fallen (weakly harmful) sign of Cancer, from which it will aspect Saturn/Rahu in Libra. In turn Saturn will aspect Mars in Cancer.

This chart for September 10 shows these relationships. Even with a nodding understanding of Vedic Astrology, readers must understand that Saturn, Rahu and Mars are the major malefics.

When all three combine to influence each other, disaster must come.

Note: to understand how difficult just Saturn/Rahu energy is, recall the February 17 VedicLeaks, which analyzed the last three Saturn/Rahu conjunctions for the Mideast: 1978-79 Iranian revolution, 1991 Gulf War, 2001+ Afghanistan war.

Transforming Your Life
The planetary karmas described here are transits, which are like global planetary weather. They influence everywhere, and everyone. In this increasingly global and interconnected world, transits must have a larger impact than charts of individual nations.

Of course, if you live in a nation running a bad Dasa (planetary cycle), like the U.S., then bad transits must make that worse. And, with the U.S. still economically dominant, when the U.S. sneezes, the whole world gets a cold.

Your individual experiences must also be impacted by virtue of the country you live in plus these transits. Too, your own Vedic chart, even if it's really good and strong now, can't offset the challenging karmas in the U.S. chart plus the global transit harms. Yes, when Hurricane Sandy hit, some homes in high impact areas survived, but even those had damage, and the underlying real estate values throughout the neighbored dropped.

Thereby, although many of you have already transformed your lives since late 2008 to deal with the Millennium Contraction, some of you haven't. Also, as the planetary karmas hit again really hard this spring and early fall, even those of you who have made major changes and adjustments will need to resume that process.

Some of my clients, who are also Celestial Wheel Participants, have refused to change their lives. They have just continued their paths, usually because they can afford to do so -- even as their economic situations have worsened through the Millennium Contraction. This can be understood as being in a karmic rut -- a comfortable pattern of living. For those who haven't yet transformed their lives, they haven't yet been jolted out of their karmic ruts. Certainly, though, this spring and summer must force these folks to finally respond, jump out of their karmic ruts and seek new ways forward. If prosperity doesn't result, a functional lifestyle can at least be maintained, and ill-advised endeavors can be avoided.

Think about yourself in reading this. Are you still stuck in your karmic rut, which has really not served you well since the economy crashed in 2008? If so, do you truly believe you can just go blithely along the same path through this springer and summer? What will you do if you stay in your karmic rut, and the coming storms flood the road you are on? Given The Celestial Wheel's previous accurate tracking of upcoming planetary karmas, are you at least willing to pay attention to the cautions expressed in this and other forecasting?

In closing, in the past few months, I've dropped several clients who, even after years and years of helping them understand their planetary karmas, refuse to transform. It's like they are unconscious and refusing to be conscious, what I called situational awareness in the February 22 VedicLeaks. My point to them is direct and simple. With my counsel falling on deaf ears, I've wasted their money and my effort. Yes, the loss of income is unfortunate. There's no such thing as rich Vedic Astrologer! But that is more than offset by reducing my frustrations, coming clean about wasting clients' money and effort and being able to refocus my efforts on folks who do want, and are willing to change.

And, there's a final benefit here. While I don't wish anyone any harm, these folks will suffer for ignoring good counsel, and some will sooner or later admit to that and finally begin making needed changes in their lives. Hopefully it won't be too late. Over the 14 years since I began fully time practice, a surprising number of clients have come back to me, sometimes many years later, advising my counsel was correct, and their lives had suffered for not paying attention. For some, there was still time and opportunity to effect rescues. In other cases, it was simply too late.

While fate plays a larger role in our lives than most of us are willing to acknowledge, it's also true that most of us are not fully harnessing our free will. Only through turmoil comes change.

The next few days will be challenging

This message may look familiar, and it should for following the same kinds of predictions offered in the look-alike March 27 Heads-up. (I've published this on the web, if you need a reminder, see March 27 VedicLeaks.)

Predictions were for lunar emotions and perception being sorely challenged, especially with, and for, females -- since Venus (females) was also afflicted. Vehicle accidents were another sensitive area, particularly for airplanes. Friday Venus' day of the week, was cited as the primary day. The March 27 VedicLeaks entry includes a prediction check listing six small plane accidents then, most on Friday.

What's happening now is that all the planets remain in the same positions -- except the fast-moving Moon will enter Pisces on Tuesday. There, the Moon will again be afflicted by malefics, this time fiery Mars and the hot Sun. Too, the Moon with the Sun is a new Moon, no light to fill and steady the emotional mind. And Mars naturally continues to aspect the tough Saturn/Rahu combination.

This chart, for Tuesday, April 9, shows these planetary positions. Tuesday, is Mars' day of the week, suggesting that day would be most difficult, again for females and vehicles. However, Wednesday is also difficult. That being Mercury's day of the week suggests a communications problem then.

Instead of airplane accidents, however, acts of war would tend to occur -- for Sun/Mars is fighting, and Venus' signification for vehicles includes military ground vehicles, rockets and even missiles. Too, as the Moon is the home, military violence could involve South Korea. All eyes have been on North Korea recently for Kim Jong Un's repeated saber rattling -- which appears to be reaching a peak.

This article, North Korea tells Brit diplomats to get out — then sets chilling April 10 deadline, mirrors others. North Korea is 13 hours ahead of U.S. ET. Too, even with modern communications, there is a time lag in getting news from the Far East to Western media. Thereby, news from the Far East could be nearly one full day delayed in comparison with local time in North Korea.

I found birth dates, but no birth times, for North Korea and Kim Jong Un. The resulting charts are badly afflicted with major malefics in Libra, the same sign where transit Saturn and Rahu are. This naturally suggests mjor turmoil.

Regardless of what happens, or not, with North Korea, transits impact everywhere and everyone, bring difficulties in people's personal experiences. So, take it easy Tuesday, and Wednesday as well. Don't get rattled if some karma hits you hard, for the planetary karmas are so intense, that, like a thunderstorm, the only action on can take is to ride it out in a safe place.

April 12 Prediction Check

The anticipated North Korean military aggression did not occur, except, of course for continued, even heightened, vitriol.

What did happen earlier this week relates to the predictions made in the March 21 VedicLeaks. The final section, Spring Predictions, Mideast violences, major storms (hitting anywhere) and for the U.S. chart, investments, government officials, truly severe storms and perhaps even popular revolts in impoverished urban areas.

There was the Secret tape: Mitch McConnell aides discuss Ashley Judd scandal, published Tuesday by Mother Jones.

Also on Tuesday, Unusual April Storm in Plains Yields Shocking Stats, ...this storm was quite unusual.
Blizzard conditions evolved on Tuesday from Colorado and Wyoming to Nebraska and South Dakota.

This storm also brought a tornado outbreak, Extremely Dangerous Tornado Situation into Wednesday. One was a doozy, Arkansas Tornado Destroys Dozens Of Homes, Church (VIDEO).

As these predictions are for Apirl and May, this sensitive interval has just begun. Other predicted areas of concern will pop up during the next several weeks. One, investments, is already under a growing cloud, Retail sales point to flagging economic momentum.

Spring Predictions
Spring predictions were made in the March 21 VedicLeaks. These were listed in final section, Spring Predictions, summarized: Mideast violences, major storms (hitting anywhere) and for the U.S. chart, investments, government officials, truly severe storms and perhaps even popular revolts in impoverished urban areas. I also suggested oil prices will surge up again. This sensitive interval began April 1 and ends May 22.

We've already seen disturbances with government officials and heavy storms in the U.S.

This transit chart for today shows five important dispositions:

1. The Sun has joined the Mars, Venus and Ketu grouping in Aries. (Note: Mercury will follow at month's end)

2. Fiery malefic Mars is now afflicting these other three planets.

3. Mars continues to aspect the difficult Saturn/Rahu combination in Libra.

4. Saturn is aspecting the four planets in Aries. Saturn. Saturn is thereby mutual aspect with Mars, creating stresses.

5. Both Saturn and Mars are aspecting Cancer, the fourth house of the home in this natural zodiac beginning with Aries.

World Transits April 15, 2013

Overall, these five issues mean the malevolent energies are building. Plus, the longer the planets are battling each other, the more challenging the ensuing events.

Cancer is a water sign, suggesting water-related storm harms anywhere in the world. Cancer is the eighth house of calamity for the U.S., indicating storms will be fierce through the spring. These are continuing, with storms in the North East and South now, with another storm coming across the country in the next few days.

The all-important and fast-moving Moon is the key timing indictor, as previously mentioned. The Moon will be in Cancer this Thursday morning until early Saturday morning. Expect storms, or storm damages to hit a peak then. There is already concern about flooding in North Dakota as a result of recent heavy snows soon to melt.

Watch too for more issues with government officials. With so many stresses hitting so many planets, don't expect gun control and immigration reform to make it through Congress. Stock markets have peaked, making these vulnerable to profit-takers and also adverse events. The DOW is down today, as well as gold. The Mideast, of course, is a continuing concern, and recall an oil price spike has also been predicted.

Too, the predicted harms are educated guesses -- certainly not all-inclusive. Today's bombing at the Boston
Marathon is a wake-up call to this -- for the planetary combinations are tremendously destructive. Storms, it seems, can be more than heavy weather this spring.

The next peak will be when the Moon goes into Libra late April 24, where it will stay for 2 1/2 days. Then, of course, the Moon will be triply afflicted -- by Saturn, Rahu in Libra and by the Mars aspect from Aries.

The spring eclipse season begins concomitantly with the full Moon in Libra April 25. Fortunately, this is only a partial eclipse. But still, even a boxer's glancing blow when his opponent is staggering can be very harmful.

Recall, if an eclipse occurs within 2 degrees of any planet in your chart, that planet will be eclipsed -- blocked.

As concerns world affairs, the May 9 powerful annual solar will be the big deal. Solar eclipses are more potent than Lunar, and because penumbral means the Moon's shadow hits the center of the Sun, but the Sun's edge remains visible because the Moon is farther away from the earth and in a total solar eclipse.

Use care in your activities and interactions with others. Certainly don't panic, for the world won't be ending, just shaken up some. On the other hand, don't disregard these tough transits, for they describe global planetary weather. Everyone will be affected in some ways.

Reminder -- More Stresses Coming

The (above) April 18 Heads-up included a stress-spike caution, " Then, of course, the Moon will be triply afflicted -- by Saturn, Rahu in Libra and by the Mars aspect from Aries. While these stresses actualize in diverse ways -- storms, floods, extreme accidents, violences, government officials, investments... -- some directly reflect the ongoing battle between Gilded Age monied interests and the rest of us. The fertilizer plant explosion in Texas demonstrates consequences of the Gilded Age battle against government regulations. For other events, it's the reaction to them revealing that struggle; the Boston Marathon bombing is used to promote gun sales and resist any new gun control laws.

While it should be so obviously important to keep this bigger picture of the U.S. three planetary cycles of Gilded Age, to Millennium Contraction to Progressive Age in mind, we can easily forget that when dealing with these current stresses -- in both national events and our personal experiences. To remind you, see the December 2010 Through The Millennium Contraction.

Well, the far right hasn't forgotten. These folks never forget, for great wealth endures in America. Gilded Age monied interests take a long view. They use troubles of all kinds in their fight against shared democratic values. And their machinations include fanning the flames of America's mystical paranoia by appealing to the extreme right cultural hot buttons, notably racist and religious. Obama gave them a priceless opportunity to stimulate fears of blacks, and thereby big government and also then be against all taxes. Extreme Christian perverted misogyny is lauded and promoted endlessly in their yellow journalism. The power of their corporate marketing is shown in the mostly poor white men who believe them, even as they are among those most injured by Gilded Age greed! Even when faced with the fact that 1% now own 35% of the wealth and get 17% of total income, they still blame big government for their economic misfortunes.

Considering this larger arena, the big story today should be this, What would the Koch brothers do to the Los Angeles Times?

Below is an example of this from the Washington Times. (Note this yellow journalism publication is owned by the Unification Church. As a business, the Washington Times is not viable, having lost about 2 billion since its founding in 1982. As a propaganda machine, however, it is a great success -- worth every penny of its losses.)

PS When reading articles on hot button topics like this, take a look at the comments. These can be more informative than the articles themselves. They are increasingly full of hate against just about everything except guns and God. Many, if not most, are written by shills of the Koch Brothers, FOX News, the oil companies... etc. Taking a couple of minutes to write your own comment can be very helpful to in this real war on terror -- the 1% et al.

Spring Tumults Continue To Build
The March 21 VedicLeaks explained in detail the planetary stresses during April (at least) through May 22. Predictions were: Mideast violences, major storms (hitting anywhere) and for the U.S. chart, investments, government officials, truly severe storms and perhaps even popular revolts in impoverished urban areas. I also suggested oil prices will surge up again.

These destructive planetary karmas result from warrior Mars conjoined with the always tight-grouping of Sun, Mercury Venus. A second influence is Mars also aspecting the tough Saturn/Rahu combination. Finally, the eclipse season comes during this same interval, adding instability. In Vedic Astrology, one effect makes something possible. Two make it likely. Three make it inescapable. And when the signification(s) involved are powerful, as these are in a negative way, then truly significant event, or events, result.

The all-important Moon is the key timing indicator, especially during the eclipse season, when the Moon is involved by either being blocked by the Sun, or blocking the Sun. I sent out 3 Heads-ups earlier this month alerting to the most sensitive dates -- when the Moon was most afflicted. (See above April 8, 18 and 24 entries) However, there is so much going on that these cautions have been useful more as reminders the entire period is rough -- rather than identifying specific sensitive dates. With nearly all the planets affected, it's like the old bumper cars carnival rides, where they careen into each other, sparks flying, all the time and only sometimes a car spins out of control. This article is telling, Awful April: Spring hard to find across northern USA.

For example, the last two Heads-ups suggested, The next peak will be when the Moon goes into Libra late April 24, where it will stay for 2 1/2 days. That was late Wednesday through Friday morning. The partial lunar eclipse also happened Friday -- confirming destructive karma. The huge Bangladesh building collapse, killing 350 did happen Wednesday morning. Adjusting for the time zone change, it was Wednesday evening ET. And while there were heavy storms in the U.S. late last week, which many of you experienced personally, the worst came after Friday morning, Severe Storms Friday Night for Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas.

Note: Sometimes even seemingly complicated Vedic Astrology can be simple -- if one just looks to see how potent some periodically repeating planetary karmas are. This is seeing the forest for the trees.

When I Googled April 2013 tornadoes today, most of the results were for the April 27, 2011 record tornadoes, Remembering The April 27, 2011 Tornado Outbreak... Try it yourself! Recall the March 21 VedicLeaks explained the always-tight grouping of Sun, Mercury Venus go twice as fast as Mars. This results in Sun, Mercury, Venus catching up with Mars ever two years, bringing violence peaks. Certainly, spring 2010 and 2012 was not as challenging. Remember also 2009, when Mars was again with Sun/Mercury/Venus, terrible winter storms hit, and the economy crashed.

But why are these Sun/Venus/Mercury biannual conjunctions with Mars so difficult now, for they certainly weren't in the past? The answer is the U.S. chart's destructive 7 years Mars Dasa (planetary cycle) begin in the fall of 2008! That's a confirming karma, and because Dasas are primary and transits are secondary karmas, this Mars Dasa is a huge influence. Have you noticed how much discord there's been in the U.S. since Mars Dasa began?

Thereby, beyond Mars with Sun/Venus/Mercury, beyond the damaging Saturn/Rahu conjunction, beyond the eclipses, the U.S. Mars Dasa is a karmic sledge hammer. This makes four destructive karmas, which must signal unavoidable and substantial harms.

The Next Sensitive Dates
Below are charts for April 25 (April 24-26 sensitive dates) and the next critical date, May 9. I selected these for being eclipse dates, when the resulting instability causes the already conflicted planets to lurch and clash.

April 25 a partial lunar at 11:43 Libra
May 9 a powerful annular solar at 25:25 Aries

As you can easily see, on April 25, the Moon was full -- opposite the Sun. This signaled the lunar eclipse. It was a weak partial eclipse. If this were a total eclipse, blocking entirely the light of the Moon, it would have been much more impactive. So, while there were storms and other harms, it wasn't awful.

After the April 25 lunar eclipse, the Moon naturally continued to move, one sign every 2 1/2 days. 15 days later, which is half the lunar cycle, the full Moon will wane to new in Aries, where it will eclipse the Sun nearly totally in annular eclipse. Annular means that while the Moon is exactly between the Sun and the earth, the Moon this month is a little further away. So, while the middle of the Sun is covered, the edges aren't.

These images show the difference between an annular and total eclipse of the Sun. The edges of the Sun's disk are clearly visible in the former and hidden in the latter. In a total eclipse, the only solar light is a dim glow from sunlight bouncing off the atmosphere and also refracting a little. Aren't both very powerful? Yes, of course.

And solar eclipses are by nature more potent than lunar eclipses. While the Moon is the primary planet in Vedic Astrology, symbolizing perception and the benefits in life, the Sun is the source of all light in the solar system, as well as the controlling gravity holding the planets in place. Snuff out the Sun, and not only do the planets become ice orbs, the entire solar system falls apart. That's why we call it the solar system.

Predictions For The May 9 Solar Eclipse
March 21 VedicLeaks predictions for April and May continue, Mideast violences, major storms (hitting anywhere) and for the U.S. chart, investments, government officials, truly severe storms and perhaps even popular revolts in impoverished urban areas. Note I also predicted oil prices would rise. Certainly violences beyond storms have already occurred -- the Boston Marathon bombing and the Texas fertilizer plant explosion. Expect all will continue and peak around May 9.

I'll certainly offer more specific predictions as to both timing and the nature of expected events in upcoming VedicLeaks. But certainly, this upcoming solar eclipse will be tough.

One really bizarre harm is also occurring -- poisoning. In the natural zodiac used for transits, Aries is the first house, which is the body. Ketu, the tail-of-the-dragon eclipse point is currently in Aries, afflicted by Mars, the Sun and Saturn. Ketu in the first house signifies being poisoned. Letters poisoned with ricin were sent to President Obama, a U.S. senator and a Mississippi judge. Evidence has been found the chemical weapon sarin was used in Syria recently. Also, there's this odd April 26 story, Australian field hockey player dies after venomous snake bite, then training run. Well, that certainly fits, for Ketu is the-tail-of-the dragon - snake. A fourth issue is a different kind of poison -- Shanghai Reports 13th H7N9 Bird Flu Death, Tops Among Chinese Cities.

While this may be fascinating, this, and other harms, are not necessarily things that happens to other folks in other places. The transits I've described symbolize the April and May stresses all over the world -- for transist naturally impact globally. Even eclipses are transits. The U.S. is at greater risk for running Mars Dasa, but still, everyone everywhere is affected. This means you too. So please, use care in all your activities, both for personal safety and because efforts you make now all areas of your life are hindered, blocked or even result in negative results.

I've personally noticed some unpleasant things in my experiences, even as I try to keep a really low profile. I went to a yard sale Saturday and encountered a really nasty fellow just back from Afghanistan -- not a soldier but a contractor, a soldier of fortune. It took me a couple of tries to get him to admit he only used to be a U.S. Marine. As I was getting ready to leave, in came even more unpleasant character, this guy jumped into the conversation, claiming the President is Muslim! I felt cornered. I told the first he was a mercenary and the second a bigot and got out of there!

Predictions Check -- Poisonings
The above April 29 VedicLeaks entry observed, One really bizarre harm is also occurring -- poisoning. Four recent poisoning were cited.

Yesterday, I used the Google news feature to research where other poisonings are currently being reported. Below are the dozen results.
