Doug,  Today (August 16, 2011) hasn't been a disaster so far, but your bringing up the Iraqi war beginnings is a good reminder that it isn't always announced in the headlines what is really going on.  I'm sure that we don't know more than a small fraction of what's really happening behind the scenes.      I do believe that you said that Aug. 16th was going to be the start of the body blows to the US economy.  If you look at the broad outline of politics and economics that you have provided subscribers over the last years, your accuracy is truly uncanny.  M.D. Maryland
