Recap The Mars/Saturn Challenges
The July 4 In-depth Forecast, Tipping Point, stated, ...the year-long Mars major and Saturn minor in the U.S. chart's Dasas beginning April 22 of this year signals the temporary economic recovery is over. The dreaded double-dip is happening, for it is a fixed karma.
That forecast further explained, Multiple harmful Mars transits this summer portend economic destruction, like a wrecking ball strikes a wall repeatedly until it falls. ...Mars transits into Gemini starting July 26 and stays there until September 8. ...Further, from Gemini, Mars will aspect (glance upon) Saturn, and in turn, Saturn will aspect Gemini -- causing great harms and losses. This is called a mutual aspect.
The August 5 VedicLeaks elaborated with specific predictions, with results already actualizing since this sensitive July 26 to September 8 destructive interval began,
Here are the results for the Mars/Saturn July 26 to September 8 destructions,
Financial/economic Highlight are that the stock markets did began their free fall July 26. See, the August 9 VedicLeaks. Standard & Poor's cutting the U.S. debt rating August 6. And, lastly, August saw zero job growth. There were lots of other negative events, too many to recount here. The bottom line is that the economy has indeed moved back into negative territory during this Mars/Saturn mutual aspect, which, as a transit is a timing indicator for the year-long Mars/Saturn planetary cycle in the U.S. chart that began April 22.
Drought The Texas drought continues unabated. Even tropical storms Lee and Nate bypassed Texas, excepting heir winds which set off catastrophic forest fires.
Hurricanes First hurricane Irene and then tropical storm Lee both caused extensive damage beginning August 27. By September 8, Lee had finished his drenching rains, and the threat from Katia ended as it headed out to sea. Since then, no further tropical storms have threatened the U.S. Here on Longboat Key (south of Tampa), high winds and rains began in late August as these storms began sucking up air and moisture from the Gulf. September 11 was the last day the Gulf was rough, as shown in this photo I took that morning,

Here are the results for the Mars/Saturn July 26 to September 8 destructions,

Earth crust events the August 29 VedicLeaks reported, Earthquakes did rock the U.S.: Colorado 8/22 DC earthquake 8/24 California 8/27 in South America, Peru had an earthquake 10/24.
These four predictions were thereby born out by actual and documented results. Even if one discounts the financial/economic and drought predictions as being obvious given the debt ceiling crisis and Texas drought were underway before July 26, the unusual DC and Colorado earthquakes and the tropical storm forecasting could not have been otherwise anticipated. So, four for four on this prediction tally.
Many individuals did experience many challenges during Mars/Saturn, and here's a most dramatic one from a Celestial Wheel Participant and also a client whose chart I updated last spring, giving her cautions for this interval,
My reply, You'll recall, Saturn's main deity, Shiva, is the destroyer and the creator -- he destroys that which is no longer necessary to make room for the new. So, a fresh start for you. I had told her during that Chart Update, Saturn is the one planet which cannot be resisted, but it's lessons by experience are enduring.
9-11 Heads-up
This prediction (the September 8 Heads-up) for turbulence in government and business and a major violence by individuals between 9-11 and 9-11 did not seem to pan out strikingly as the above Mars/Saturn predictions.
On Sunday French and Greek banks came under fire, Markets Brace as the Crisis in Europe Flares Up Again.
The attack on Israel's Egyptian embassy Saturday began another round of escalating problems for Israeli, besieged on all sides now, including, Netanyahu to make Israel's case at UN. Israel's Vedic chart is very bad now, which fits with the sensitivity 9-11 to 13 and suggesting it will experience further and more serious challenges. I'll write about this in more detail in upcoming entries.
In the U.S. there was a mass murder in Florida Saturday, Florida Authorities Search for 2 Gunmen in Deadly Nightclub Shooting -- 3 dead 22 wounded -- and on Sunday In Texas 3 killed. Cops: domestic violence.
Summary
Fortunately for the Annapolis client with flooding damage, these harms can be repaired quickly, although at some expense.
Unfortunately for the nation, the economic harms from Mars/Saturn are severe and enduring -- they will continue and escalate during the fall, winter and spring. As we naturally blame one party or group or another, this group or that, keep in mind The Millennium Contraction is a fixed karma for the U.S. chart that will continue until the end of the Mars planetary cycle in 2015. Applying this perspective allows us to detach from emotions to gain an objective understanding upon which we can formulate and carry out effective plans for ourselves.
One further result from this unfortunate but predestined suffering is popular protests. So far, most of this has come from the right -- the Tea Party, libertarians and conservative Christians all of whom have been mislead by Wall Street and it's super rich ilk into continuing the G.W. Bush policies of lower taxes and regulations -- to their exclusive benefit. So far, the middle and the left have been comparatively quiet and typically disorganized. The February 2011, Popular Protests In The U.S. discusses gradual budding-out of popular resentments into popular protests. Look for these to really blossom this fall. Then, the battle to regain shared democratic values will truly be joined -- although it will be long fought and difficult. But, like a snake shedding its skin or a bird moulting, it's a natural process with a positive result.

yesterday/today now that power is restored at the clinic. I have
power but no phone or cable at home. Much of Annapolis is still
out of power. I believe today is the last day of my Saturn
Return. I've had a truly epic pummeling in the last week and
perhaps ironic that it seems to coincide with the Saturn/Mars harms
everyone else is going through. That Saturn means business about the beneath the earth stuff. First the Earthquake where I first rode up and down in a "boat" at my desk and then thought the house was coming down around my ears. Then Irene and the flooding of the lower level of my house which includes my office. I'm having my young neighbor remove all the carpeting and old vinyl which was under some of the carpeting. It is a cleansing of sorts. I've had trouble with this house before so I expected a certain amount of ground water seepage with Irene, but this was a lot more than that. Strange to say but I always felt like I was waiting for "the other shoe to drop" about this water issue. The house and I have a history of trying to patch up here and there. Now the shoe has dropped and I'll take some time to decide what next, get battery backups on those sump pumps, replace flooring etc. There is a certain calm after experiencing something you dreaded and feared could happen. Some very scary things have happened this week. Life goes on." |
