Lunar Eclipse Tomorrow

The April 13 Eclipses Are Coming  -- Eclipses Are Coming explained that a powerful total solar eclipse would hit April 20 followed by a weak lunar eclipse May 5.

Tomorrow's lunar eclipse will be weak because, the Moon will pass only through the prenumbral, ...meaning the Moon only passes behind the earth's outer shadow, as shown in the image below.  Looking up at the sky, this eclipse will be so dim, it may pass unnoticed.

Again, this eclipse doesn't hit the U.S. chart, nor Trump's.  But it does hit Biden's 19:30° Mars.  It would seem that any difficulties Biden experiences from the solar eclipse will receive a bump from this lunar eclipse.

Still, these continue to be tenuous times as detailed in the April 24 entry by the same name.  To illustrate, below is a current transit chart -- where the planets are in today's skies.

May 4, 2023

The energy is intense because of the stellium (four planets) in Aries, directly across from the eclipse -- which means that sign, and planets placed there are also impacted.  This by itself is potent, like four cats in a bag!

Adding to the eclipse instability and the stellium intensity, is that Mercury -- the intellect and the nervous system -- is retrograde, which brings confusions, memory lapses, mishaps and off-balance responses.  (I keep losing things!)  That Mercury is conjunct ravenous Rahu intensifies mental issues.

Combining this delicate Mercury with the emotional and perceptional Moon being eclipsed, these two planets of the mind (both afflicted) result in deep mental stresses.  (Add in the stellium to intensify.)  Also, since retrograde Mercury brings up the past, and the Moon is the memory, previous events and people no longer in our lives suddenly appear.  These can be truly disconcerting, especially our past struggles and attachments, which we believe we have let go of, return.

Go easy on yourself, and others, and avoid adversarial situations and complex tasks.  And as the past reasserts itself, try to find value in that information.  What is it about an illness, family issue, personal shame.... that we have yet to truly overcome?  There is grieving, but also joy and love, that we can benefit from revisiting -- and finally letting go

Have you noticed btw that the horrendous mass murders in the U.S. continue?  It is this planetary energy that thrusts people already on the edge falling into the abyss.  Well, there's the benefit of standing on the edge and looking down, up as well.

In its usual 3 week retrograde, Mercury will turn forward May 15.  By then, the lunar eclipse effects will have long dissipated, and we can all regain a calm and benign and consciousness.

I've joked that my new years' resolution is to be nicer to people but when asked how it's going, I reply, not so well.  People grin in response.

Mercury Forward Late Monday

The above May 4 Lunar Eclipse Tomorrow explained the eclipse itself would be mild for being in the earth's outer shadow.  However, the stellium (group of 4 planets) in Aries would be intense -- like 4 cats in a bag.  Add in mental stresses for the calculating mind Mercury being retrograde and in the middle of the stellium and the emotional Moon being eclipsed.  Well, that forecast stated Have you noticed btw that the horrendous mass murders in the U.S. continue?  It is this planetary energy that thrusts people already on the edge falling into the abyss.  Below is the chart for today to illustrate.

As eclipse effects last only a week or so following the event, and Mercury will turn forward near midnight on Monday, you can wake up Tuesday morning to a more stable and balanced consciousness.  Hurray!

May 13, 2023

Notice too in the above chart for today that warrior Mars has shifted from Gemini to Cancer, in which sign he is fallen -- weak and angry.  This transit is May 10 to June 30.  (Interestingly, the Jury found Trump guilty in the E. Jean Carroll case May 9 -- just as this sign shift was happening.  Planets become very weak at the sign edges.)

As for Trump during this challenging Mars transit, it is in his twelfth house of loss, crossing his Saturn and Venus.  That's why the April 2 entry was titled The Bell Tolls For Thee.

Donald Trump

The Bell Tolls For Thee included this schedule of Trump's planetary cycles -- dasas.

Mars stays in Cancer June 30, and the Saturn (Sa) subcycle cuts in June 13.  (Then, his recent current Jupiter (Ju) subcycle won't protect him any longer.)  With this Saturn subcycle continuing until October 22, it will be a long hot summer and tough fall for Trump   This overlap of destructive planetary karmas for Trump signals more, and more serious, legal battles he will lose. The last half of June will be a peak.

Enough for now.  Get ready for mental clarity and calm nerves Tuesday morning.

Conflict

The May 12 Mercury Forward Late Monday spoke to the mental easing resulting from this change -- and also to the companion issue of Mars shifting from Gemini to Cancer June 30.  Yes, the celestial seas seem to be always riled up with something!

That forecast for this new Mars planetary karma focused upon Trump, As for Trump during this challenging Mars transit, it is in his twelfth house of loss, crossing his Saturn and Venus.  That's why the April 2 entry was titled The Bell Tolls for Thee.  This results because Mars is most dangerous in this, his fallen sign.  (Malefics like Mars are the bring the greatest harms when they are either too strong or too weak -- like an powerful great white shark mauls, or a sickened dog bites.)  This Cancer transit continues until June 30.

Also in June, Trump's planetary cycles (Dasas) include malefic Saturn from June 13 to October 22.  (These are those Dasas to three levels,
Jupiter/Mercury/Saturn.)  That's why the forecast stated, ...it will be a long hot summer and tough fall for Trump   This overlap of destructive planetary karmas for Trump signals more, and more serious, legal battles he will lose.  The last half of June will be a peak.  This last point cannot be overemphasized.  It would seem inevitable Trump will be bombarded with legal problems then.  But also, he'll suffer grievously through the mid fall.

This Mars transit is also difficult for the U.S. because Cancer is that chart's dark-depths eighth house of turmoil where Rahu and Mercury are placed, which gives rise to America's mystical paranoia.  Certainly tragedies must occur in June for this Mars transit, which karma (influence) is confirmed by it's Dasas being Rahu/Saturn/Rahu until June 27.)  Mars is drawing close to birthchart Rahu now; they will be conjunction June 6.   Because Trump is a key U.S. figure, his travails are seen in both his chart and the U.S. chart and visa versa.  As explained, both are badly afflicted.

Below is a sign chart for today displaying transits, which have a global influence.  You can see Mars in Cancer (Can).  You can also see Mercury in Aries (Ari) with the retrograde R now gone.

There's another simmering-toward-boil in the planetary combination of Jupiter and Rahu in Aries, which is now close at 4 degrees separation and closing to exact on June 1.  The head-of-the-dragon eclipse point Rahu's insatiable greed, without moral constraints, degrades Jupiter's wealth, and higher mind of truth and honor.  A key word for Jupiter afflicted by Rahu is conflict.  It seems no accident that the U.S. debt ceiling deadline is the same day!  Adding to the misery is an aspect from malefic Saturn to Aries, shown by the arrow.  Although the exact Jupiter/Rahu exact conjunction is June 1, indicating the maximum impact -- it continues as they remain in conjunction (same sign) until the late fall.

Sign Chart May 21, 2023

As for Jupiter?Rahu on Trump's chart, this combination is inTrump's ninth house of luck and fortune.  These must be harmed by that transit.

Jupiter/Rahu in Aries is the U.S. chart's fifth house of investments and governing.  This indicates conflict over money and with the government.  It would seem that either the debt ceiling won't be resolved by June 1 and/or other financial and governing issues pop up.  So a band aid seems likely, but after all, that is only a dressing on a bleeding wound, not the wound being healed.

In summary, both Trump's chart and the U.S. chart face increasing harms, and these reach a boil in June -- but continue to afflict both charts through the fall.

Regarding natural disasters,  it sure looks like more Atlantic hurricanes will hit the U.S. this summer.  And in the west, the drought issue continues.  I'll write more on these in upcoming Celestial Wheel entries.
