Heads-up
The Next Few Days Will See Turbulence Globally

Below is a transit chart, showing planetary karmas globally, for May 10, this coming Saturday.  The challenges and harms peak then but begin late today. Sunday could also be rough.

Red arrows for warrior Mars and blue arrows for suffering Saturn show their aspects (glances) to critical positions in the zodiac. Recall, these are the major malefics, capable of bringing all kinds of harms.  Also, and a major catalyst, is the all-important Moon will be conjoined with Mars.

1.  Mars will be aspecting Venus almost exactly -- a bulls eye  Because Venus is moving forward and Mars' retrograde, they will be rushing at each other -- naturally increasing the destructive karma.  This is negative for health, wealth, joy, relationship and vehicles.

2.  Mars will also be aspecting the Sun.  The combination of these two pitta (fiery) planets brings fierce discords, fires, explosions and other violences.

3.  Retrograde Saturn will also be aspecting the Sun, again almost exactly.  Also again, because Saturn is retrograde, they are rushing at each other.  This is harmful to leaders, particularly kings and dictators.

4.  Mars and Saturn will both be aspecting Sagittarius, the 9th house of luck and fortune in this natural zodiac beginning with Aries.  For the U.S., Sagittarius is first house of the body/self.  Among other ills, wealth harms and storms are indicated.

Overall, the harms previously predicted for this very tough winter/spring Mars continue.  An exception is earth crust events, which karma has likely been exhausted.

Government
Earth Crust Events
Violences And Storms
Economic losses
Disease
Aeronautics

In your personal experiences, it's best to keep a low profile and avoid any situations that could be disruptive.  Karmic dodge ball!

Heads-up
Mars Is Slowing to End Retrograde May 19

Mars has been The Celestial Wheel's primary planetary focus since late last fall. This was explained in detail in the January 8, 2014 VedicLeaks entry,

Mars entered Virgo November 26, 2013. Although he will transit into Libra February 4, 2014, his stay and journey into Libra are fairly short because he then turns retrograde March 1. That brings Mars back into Virgo on March 25. Mars turns forward again May 20. He'll finally leave Virgo for good on July 14, 2014 Thereby, except for his deep winter detour into Libra, Mars will be in Virgo from late November 2013 to mid July 2014 -- eight and one half long months. This must be disruptive, for the longer a planet stays in a sign, the greater its impacts.

...Moving into the Second Progressive Age will not be a cakewalk. However, as always, Only through turmoil comes change.

The January 15 VedicLeaks included this graphic of Mars' Z-shaped path from forward motion to retrograde to forward again. This graphic has been used several times since.

Some predictions were made in the January 25 VedicLeaks, notably. the public sector will be at war with itself, and attacks, wars, explosions, weapons, fire, storms, violences of all kinds. Others were sprinkled into succeeding entries: economic losses, disease, drought and earth crust events. (This last is interesting, for not just earthquakes but also mud slides.  There was even one today in the Balkan Peninsula.) These were finally listed in the April 5 VedicLeaks entry under sensitive areas,

Government
Earth Crust Events
Violences And Storms
Economic losses
Disease
Aeronautics

Further citations are not included here. There has been so much of this stuff going on this past winter/spring, you would have had to be completely unconscious not to know.  Living under a rock wouldn't do it, btw, because then you would at least know about the storms, drought and earthquakes!

As Mars approaches the end of his retrograde late in the evening May 19, he is slowing down to make the one hundred and eighty degree turn -- just like a car does when making a u-turn.  This slowing in motion increases Mars' strength, which reaches a maximum when he stops dead in the sky May 19.  May 20 and the next couple of days will also find Mars strong, as he gradually accelerates from being dead in the water back to normal speed.

Expect the above listing of sensitive areas continue to see a lot of action.  While the U.S. chart is badly afflicted, these are global issues -- because we're discussing a Mars transit, and transits influence everywhere.  This astrologer is particularly concerned about meltdowns in stocks and overseas government bonds.

Too, continue to use care in your personal lives.  While I've joked with clients about no bungee jumping, even hot hair balloons can be risky, Three victims identified in Va. hot air balloon crash -- the aeronautic issue.

Celestial Wheel Formats

The Celestial Wheel uses various publication formats -- Heads-up is the most immediate and concise. This is fitting because of the fast/aggressive energy Mars has been bringing since last fall. As Mars is impatient, so are all of us now.

     So, here's another Heads-up!

PS I publish these to the web -- to the current monthly VedicLeaks page and also to the left side of the home page, where VedicLeaks entries are summarized with links to the web page for the full text.

Heads-up
Mars Has Calmed down
Mercury & Venus Changing Signs

Mars
Bulls take down bullfighters but still lose in Spain  This happened on Tuesday, May 20 -- just hours after Mars stopped in the sky as he changed from retrograde motion to forward motion.   So, Mars was moving very sluggishly then, giving him tremendous power for violence, and destructions, including death.

Recall, Mars is animals, notably dogs and other large animals.

Today, Thursday, May 22, Mars has regained his normal speed of 1/2 degree per day and has thereby calmed down.

Mercury
Also today, Mercury changes signs to Gemini, which he rules, and is thereby congenial for the planet of the intellect and the nervous system.   Still in Gemini June 7, Mercury will go retrograde then for his usual three weeks backward trek.  This will keep Mercury in Gemini well beyond his usual 30 days in a sign to July 28 -- doubling it to two months.  It's obviously helpful.  A bonus is that Jupiter, the great benefic and the planet of the higher mind, is also in Gemini until mid June.  Thereby, the next few weeks will see a marked improvement in decision making, and understanding how things really are.

Venus
Unfortunately, there's a negative in transit Venus shifting into Aries tomorrow and staying there until June 18.  Well, that's just three weeks.  The negative results from Venus joining malefic Ketu and being aspected by malefics Saturn and Mars.  Affairs of the heart, joy, contentment, the grace of God and the kidneys will all be sensitive during this period.

Still, overall, Mercury in Gemini is so advantageous, the benefits it brings overwhelm the weakness Venus will have until June 18.  Besides, Mercury's enhanced cognitive ability will enable solutions to inevitable Venus stresses.
